We have NEVER had a teacher we did not appreciate. As for the posts regarding bullying. . .I wonder if they are reaching out? Is the school aware of what is going on? I have had bullying issues with my child being on both ends and the school has not only contacted me immediately but helped resolve the issues, whether is be a meeting with teacher/principal, a phone call, or a sit down with other parents. They do have high turn over for principals but it has never really caused us any issues. And they do stress attendance but I cannot imagine any school not. Regular attendance helps the teacher & student build a relationship. Attendance is important!!

Or how to find the area of a 2 by 3 concrete slab. No joke. All three couldn't calculate it. And one was a "math wiz" of that normal looking group on my block. And it's nice to meet people at the front office who don't seem angry all the time. Someone missed their calling at our last two schools. Great and complete curriculum so far. Seems much more serious a school. Also the kids have fun for sure too. No major issues so far. Will check in later after he's been there longer. They got me to put off a decision on charter schools for a little longer.

I can honestly say that my "Son", enjoys "Boys and Girls club" onsite. He has grown so much from Kindergarten to 2nd grade. Ms Chan ( 2nd grade teacher) has helped my Son with his lack of confidence, something that we all tried to do for so long.. It was a struggle until now. Speech classes have helped him a lot as well..I cannot be more content and proud of "Zeyen's pride".. I am so great-full that Zeyen has no tolerance for misbehavior/ bullying. I have seen Mrs. Sarah Van Dam ( Principle), discipline a student for misbehaving. It is also our job as parents, to teach our kids etiquette, manners and consequences for once action. Horrible school. Lots of bullying that will effect you mentally and physically. The staff don't do…read morenothing about it no matter how many times it happens or how many times you tell. My child got bullied mentally and physically to the point she developed and E'D and gained bad harming addictions, they got sexually assaulted on campus and once we told the school the staff didn't do anything at all. The kids who caused this didn't get any form of punishment just that they had to write an apology letter that my child didn't even receive. This happen after Mr. Ash transferred and we got Mr. Serbet. My child got mental help for months and is still currently healing. This school is horrible, don't take your children here for their mental and phyiscal well being.

It is an older school and an older building, but it's actually endearing to me as it reminds me of the schools that I grew up going to. It has a vintage feel . They would lie and tell you that the gardener is also the security, but if you see him cleaning outside the gates he would tell you that security is not one his tasks. School has No Nurse on the premises, No School Nurse Office. Zero feeder program to private school. Don't buy into...Please do your research, the only students going to private Highschools from here are the church staff members kids. This is a very small school with very many "clicks" and "circles" - this speaks volume! You do get a lower rate than any other private school in town, but ANYTHING you are running from a PUBLIC school, you will find here and twice as bad! I do not recommend this school to anyone! Keep looking every extra penny is worth going somewhere else! Covenant, Fairmount, St Paul - all within 20-25 minutes apart from this school and with no traffic doable in 15 minutes! The teachers were always kind and was there to mentor you and support you when you don't know what you're doing or you're missing your parents. The staff (at recess and lunch), however, USED to be very strict and scary. The school events were always energized and every student had their wings open for something. Food was always amazing! Bathrooms not so much, but hey, we were kids back then. The safety of the school back then wasn't as secured as it is now, and I remember the police always having to come and investigate. Overall, I loved my experiences there and forever the memories will stay with me. Now, almost 6 years later, with the new principle right after I graduated, have done tremendous job of improving the school. Every year they're constantly improving their security and ways to make the school a more beneficial place for every kid to learn and enjoy. *I can only provide a review of the exterior view, not interior because I don't go there anymore, so I don't know how the staffs are like now*
