This school has a great amount of problems, coming from a student who was enrolled from the years 2017-2020, now currently attending a high school of which I will not disclose its name. This review is only based on my time from 2017-2020 and should not be an influence on your choice to enroll in Warner in any school year past 2020. First problem is the student population of the school. There are countless amounts of snobby, self-centered punks out there trying to act like wannabe gangsters, as well as obnoxiously rude and annoying "VSCO"/Tiktok/Instagram girls, wearing all these street-brands like Gucci or Supreme, making it harder for other students to succeed in education, and also a genuine and dramatically large waste of staff resources and attention that should be aimed for other ACTUAL issues in the school. Let's not forget the fact they were in their own "gangs''/"squads" too, like if someone hates someone, then everybody hates that person. It's like almost every darn week there would be a feud or fight of some kind thanks to these two-bit punk wannabes. There is a lot of drama and every single person acts as if they are so much better than anyone else. It's like you will instantly make enemies out of these people the moment they glance at you, or even just step into campus on the first day of school. Additionally, my other problems would be the staff and their policies. When the new principal after former principal Mrs. Kwon retired, the policies were absolutely horrid. A huge example of these terrible policies would have to be the fact we literally could not open our chromebooks during the lunch period, which is counter-productive, since that meant we could not get our online work done before they were due in class. There was one of the assistant principals (a former Hayden staff member IIRC) who typically walked around the lunch shelter and physically came up and closed the chromebooks of anyone who had them open at even 1 degree angles without warning. Not even a reminder or a scolding, he straight up closed our chromebooks. Speaking of chromebooks, dear goodness are the chromebooks here terrible. They are slow and broken most of the time, and it's dumb expensive to repair them, even for things as simple as a missing key/button. 99% of all websites you try to go to, safe or not, are blocked. Heck, they even blocked Wikipedia (constantly, like they always spread propaganda of how the website is "nOt A rElIaBlE sOuRcE"), and also GOOGLE SUITE SITES LIKE DOCS at one point (talk about irony). On top of that, the resources, mainly books, at the school are like medieval times, dusty and outdated. If the school has enough funding for cheap, mass-produced, barely efficient Chromebooks, then they can at least purchase some up-to-date textbooks that have not gathered like 10-12 years of dust. The only decent aspects of this school are the literal teachers and assemblies. Most of the teachers do care for students and help them succeed... others, not so much, but there's only a handful of these bad apples so I would ignore them. The assemblies do help boost morale among the students, and they are fun... both to a degree. One final complaint would be associated with the physical education department. I had an extremely bad case of asthma-like symptoms (not fully asthma) that hindered my ability to breathe efficiently during the Mile Run assignments. My mother and doctor had filed official documents to, at the minimum, extend my passing mile time requirements. They sent those papers to the P.E teacher I had for 7th and 8th, but the teacher refused to approve those papers. No matter how many times we sent those papers again, even with all the verified proof I needed the excuse to extend the times, my teacher (and even the staff) simply did not want to accept the papers. It was hell running the miles with these symptoms, and I nearly passed out running one too. My own younger cousin, who was at Warner as well and had Asthma, had his excuse approved, but even he was confused as to why I could not be granted such approval for, essentially, the same situation my cousin was in? May I also mention that the same teacher was arrogant and rude, not just to me, but others? He even said "Don't give me that attitude" to a close colleague of mine who literally and simply LOOKED in the direction that he was in? I could feel the common sense in this situation just walking out the door! All in all, Warner Middle School earns itself a 1 out of 5 stars. This school is definitely far from being considered "decent", but no way is it worth a 0. There just needs to be some REALLY BIG, improvements for the better, mostly more discipline (of course, with good reason), better staff members and teachers and some policy re-writing plus better judgement to be reasonably fair towards both students and staff. read more

This has been the worst educational experience I've ever had. Between peer bullying, body-shaming "friendships," uncaring teachers, and a completely indifferent administration, I would strongly advise any family to think twice before enrolling here. I have been at Warner for 1 year. I am going to 8th grade for my 25-26 school year, and I am TERRIFIED of this school. There were relentless bullying and bodyshaming going on. Everyone kept judging and looking at me. Also, there was unresponsive administration. I got bullied many times, and the principals didn't even care. The worst thing is that there are teachers who talk behind your back. I was walking to class one time. I heard two teachers talking about how I failed my first test. This made me more self-conscious. The academic environment sucks, too. People kept asking me for answers and paying me to cheat. I was casually doing ALEKS on my ChromeBook because I was finished with my two math assignments. Now tell me why 10 students came up to me and said, "I will pay you $10 to give me answers." There is barely any academic integrity, so honest students feel punished to be honest. Don't get me started on how ignorant mental health is in this school. People in this school call other people slurs. Almost everyone is undisciplined. There are many fights. Plus, PAL and ASB are supposed to be helpful to students, but that is the complete opposite. PAL and ASB students are judgmental as hell. During P.E, there was a student who did something wrong. So many ASB members said, "Oh my god, look at this re****." This is all I can remember now. I might update it. This is all that happened recently from a student's perspective. I am really sure that i dont Regcomment your kid to learn in this school, bullying,racist, rude are even more disgusting than what you can know. A lot of students even just start a fight in the locker or outside the field with no reasonable question , i got in the office are got in trouble even i didnt do anything wrong , a lot of people using cigarettes or pods in this school but none of teachers or staff says but only i bring a pack of waffles and they tell me that i was bring the drug to school and hold me back in class. When i tell them that i didnt use any of drugs and they still saying i got smell of drugs so they sure i was using the drugs, what? I was never using them so how can i know the smell if i using that f*ucking drugs how can i not know i got the smell if i know why should i bring that pack of waffles in school ?? terrible staff, multiple charges on multiple teachers abusing students with the teachers getting a single slap on the wrist. Ms. Fields if i remember correctly was the shittiest of them all, multiple reports filed on her for not only abusing the kids mentally by just the fat shaming alone, but for getting physical with one of the students by pulling her hair. school gave her a slap on the wrist with another teacher as well who threw a phone at a student. zero of the staff have any clue on how to connect with their students let alone stop the influx of mass bullying going on in their school. there were 0 resources available for students in mental crisis, a multitude of the students i knew were severely depressed and even suicidal mainly because of the bullying and the fear of not only their home environments but the teachers as well being assholes. staff was shit, food was expired, violence is rampant and overall a sad excuse for a "safe environment" read more

Absolutely nasty ass school. VSCO girls everywhere and wannabe cholitos thinking they are tough. Bathrooms have no to and has masive mud monkeys in the toilet bowl. People at this school are complete idiots and the girls here who are nit even the slightest attractive think they are cute. Staff is so annoying and think they have so much power over kids. The equipment is so old. We still use 2011 plastic chrome books and 1989 books. Food is poorly made and the nastiest shit anyone could eat. Half if the food isn't even edible. I was in this school for 7th. Going to 8th this year. It was a HORRIBLE experience. I don't think I'll survive next year. Students here are ABSOLUTELY racist, fatphobic, homophobic, etc. The principals didn't even do anything. The PAL students made fun of my body. ASB students kept taking bad about me even though I'm just a quiet person doing my work? One of my teachers yelled at me because they couldn't believe straight-A's student didn't understand a concept about a math lesson. This school suck.
