I could not believe the way the owner treated us! We were visiting from out of town and needed to get a few things for our trip. There were 6 of us and she came over immediately and told us too many people! My sister was offended and wanted to leave. I didn't hear her say that and I thought she was moving the display over. When actually she was moving it so that she could "Watch" us! She even had her daughter to stand directly behind us to again "Watch" us!! Enough was enough! I recently shaved my head and have been really missing my long hair so i decided to go to local wig store. i cant even explain how amazing this wig/this store/the owner who works there is. As soon as i walked in the place its nice and clean and the Lady was sooo sweet. She immediately came to help me with what i was looking for, her intentions were genuine and clearly wasnt just trying to make a sale as she directed me to the affordable wigs and explained the prices and the material of the units. I found one that i liked and she went above and beyond and showed me a different color of the same wig that flatters me so much more! I didnt feel rushed and she made me feel beautiful. The wig itself is gorgeous and came with a free bandanna!!! Love this place will definitely be back soon!!!! read more

I went to this establishment and said to the Hi , do you have rubber bands? The female who had red red and brown skin replied " Yes, cash only". No Hello, I am sorry we only take cash. I then said Oh my, no ATM either? I was on the phone with my cousin ( She was on speaker and expressed my frustration to her. I did say a few choice words about the situation to MY COUSIN. I had a hair appointment. The braider was 30 minutes late and when she got there, she asked ME to go to Beth's to purchase the rubber bands. I went to the car to get the 1.07 cash for the rubber bands and returned and greeted with"Why am I acting this way ?" Because YOU woman with the red hair greeted me in very rude disrespectful way. I will apologize for cussing but it wasn't towards you whatsoever. I walked away and swore as I left the establishment I ended up not buying anything and went elsewhere. I did see her poke her head out the door in my peripheral vision. Not sure what or if she was saying anything. I chose NOT to engage and drove off. Needless to say , I won't be back to Beth's. I went the store today to purchase a product that I had previously purchased there. As I was walking around the store I heard a customer asking the lady (owner) at the counter about a product she carries. The customer asked her how to use it. The owner's response "It's right here on the back. Do you know how to read?" I was shocked, furious, and appalled at the lack of respect she showed a paying customer. I immediately walked out and was sure to explain what happened to potential customers outside. This is a store that markets products for black women, but shows zero respect to the black women who are walking through the door. I do hair on the side of where I work so I have knowledge of hair store bundles... we all know you wash bundles before putting them in.. I'm not a picky person so when I got the hair it had a smell but I thought to myself why not just wash it first before I complain .. so after washing the hair the smell got stronger !! I talked to the boss he stated he would call back but never did .. I had to run this store down on the phone just to get him to call back ... he called back yelling at me about why did I use the hair .. I bought braiding hair from this place yesterday and got an install of my normal box braids. my hair has a foul scent (Xpressions) and has caused my scalp to react. I know with the chemicals in the synthetic hair, there may be a chance of a reaction, but to see the dye completely bleeding into the water and after dipping the braids, the smell became atrocious. My scalp is extremely irritated and the lack of customer service to suggest solutions from the owner is nonexistent. I hate to say that I may have to take my hair down after spending $150 to get it done because of this. So disappointed. read more

The experience I had with this owner today, if I could give no stars I would. I have lived in Pooler Ga since 2018 and referred many people here and I have shopped here MANY MANY times. Today I went to buy more products for my hair and I ran into a woman that had dreads just as I do. I asked her if there was a product she'd recommend and she proceeded to assist me with finding the product. I went to this store for the 3rd time as it is the closest beauty supply store near my home. Today I am finally writing a review and told my husband we will never use this store again. The owner ( a middle eastern woman) acts as if she is doing her customers a favor by allowing them to shop at her store. She watches you intently in a mirror and does not offer to help you. This is the third time. The first time she seemed friendly but made smart comments about my kids that I was buying bows for. The second time I came another customer helped me more than she did. The third time which was today. She made smart comments about my 6 year old daughter to another customer!!! I am a medical professional who takes care of patients at night. This was the middle of the day when I could have been sleeping but jumped up and remembered items I needed for my girls hair. I also wanted to purchase a wig but she was so rude and would not help me. I dont care how tired I am that will be the last time I am a patron of this store. I will drive all the way to Savannah to Sisters or Beauty Mecca before I shop here again. I will be telling every nurse that I work with who lives in Pooler not to shop here.
