I brought pictures of what I wanted and she is an artist. She knows what she is doing. (I asked for a wolf cut and my hair is healthy but fine). The customer service was amazing, I was asked if I'd like some water while I waited and Patrick at the front desk is so kind and makes a great impression of the store. I get my hair done there normally and am always happy, but this just went above and beyond. Once out, they washed, cut and blew dry her hair. I have never seen her hair more beautiful. Before Salon Karma said they would help the only advice we had gotten was to cut the knot out (which was right on top of her head). Not at Salon Karma!! I have never written a bad review about a restaurant, person, place or thing. I requested an appointment for a Hair Cut and a Keratin Treatment. I might add costing over $400. The Hair Cut not so great the Keratin Treatment should last 4-6 months. I called and spoke to the owner at the 5 1/2 week fatter my Keratin treatment and told her it DID NOT TAKE, from day one to the 5 1/2 week mark each day my hair had more and more frizz and curl as if I never had a treatment. Flat ironing twice a day. The owner insinuated I did something wrong, as washing my hair to soon, getting it wet or using a sodium shampoo or swimming. Which was not the case! The owner said I should have called day one. I was out of state for 4 weeks. If should last 4-6 months. Refusing to even have me come in and look at my hair or compensate me in any way. Which tells me the salon does not stand behind their services or stylists , Very Poor Client, Stylist - Owner relationship Poor Business ethic. Sad you pay for services not rendered. Let me add I am a Hairstylist for many years, I owned my own salon, sold it and ran 15 salons for a company up North, before moving here. I am a Certified Coppola Keratin stylist. I have given countless Keratin treatments for over 18 years, along with having it done on my own hair, I have even given myself this treatment at times. I would say I know a little something about Keratin treatments, when a treatment didn't take and how to care for your hair after a Keratin Treatment. I feel very taken advantage by this owner. It hasn't been uncomfortable at all. I pop in during the week for her to check me just to make sure I haven't done any damage. Which is usually just me being paranoid. I've had them ib a month and a half so far and I can't see going back to my shoulder length hair any time soon. It blends perfectly with my purple hair and is so much fun to play with. All professionals like she claims to be have an obligation to listen to their client needs and warn them of any possible hazardous products they might use on their hair. She did neither. She was too busy and prideful for the client's sake, she not only left me too long in the hair dryer, she placed this product on my hair without any warning of possible allergic reactions. I just went in to get highlights, because I wanted to get my hair redyed a different color . It was purple before, so I thought maybe something similar which I was planning on doing later. I told her this, but it was obvious after she did my highlights she was obsessing over my leftover purple color. Which by the way did not bother me, cause as I told her. I was planning to redyed my hair. When she went to rinse and shampoo my hair , she added toner to my hair without asking me or warning me of possible ill effects. Once in there I asked her what did she placed in my hair, because it felt funny. When she told me I trusted her ,because as she claimed before she was a professional, and I never had toner on my hair before so I wasn't aware of any possible harm it might do to my scalp. My mistake. The tingling feeling she claim was normal, turn into a full fledged allergic reaction hours later. I am sure it didn't help when she was combing my hair harshly after all was done. But anyway a dermatologist visit and prescription medicine later , all she could say to me about this was sorry. Yeah, I am sorry too. I am sorry I ever step foot into that hair salon just to have my hair fall like an over cooked noodle thanks to an stylist selfish pride. Overall, I will avoid this place like the plague and advise anyone to never use toners in their hair is just bad news for the health of your hair and scalp even if you do not have nasty allergic reaction.

You would think you find yourself at the "Steel magnolia" movie set, exquisitely charming and enchanting as the Savannah city itself. My hairstylist Becky was extremely efficient in her work, fast and confident sweeping her fingers through my hair as if she was a platform artist. I have very long and thick hair, my curls are not easy to cut but she made it seem so effortless. The interaction in this salon was as you would expect it of a debutante ball, just charming! I also scheduled an appointment with Jill for my great-aunt! Besides getting the best teased "updo" she will ever have, it will be a treat of the most charming "southern drawl" ever!
