This is a complaint regarding my gas range order and installation. I bought a GE oven and it was scheduled on October 2. A technician from Best Yet Installation(contractor with Bestbuy) came to deliver and install, and he said that I need to reorder my gas oven and gave me a list(all LG oven). He also added that I need to install a millboard above the gas hood to prevent fire hazard. I did as he instructed (returned GE and reordered LG gas oven. The new delivery and installation was scheduled on October 9. One hour after the scheduled time, the truck driver called me and said that his truck was towed and he cannot come on that day. I had to reschedule after I waited for 5 hours. So, I rescheduled the delivery and installation on October 11. The technician came with gas oven but left the oven without installation. Now, he said that I need to install metal shield on the wall. I contacted Best Yet Installation, and they finally promised that they will install the gas oven today. The scheduled time with BestBuy was between 9 and 1 but they said they are coming between 12 and 3. I also found out that I bought installation and haul away together with the gas range, but they canceled haul away service. I asked the technician today to take away my old oven and they did, and installed the gas oven finally. It was a big mess and I cannot believe that buying and installing a gas oven from Bestbuy will be this painful! The technician from Best Yet Installation apologized to me today, but it seems something is very wrong. read more

To quote Jean-Ralphio, "They're the wooooooooorst." Definitely not the Best Yet. We got a dishwasher from Best Buy who contracted these guys to do the installation. After they left, we discovered a flood in the basement. A pipe next to the dishwasher had been ruptured. It took them a week to come back to look at it, which honestly is way too long considering we had a flood. When they came, they claimed that it was a coincidence that the pipe right next to the dishwasher broke right after they did the dishwasher install. Whatever. They're full of crap. I told them that I found it really difficult to believe that we suddenly have a flood right after they installed the dishwasher, and they told me that they'd talk to a manager and call me back. Surprise surprise, they never called me back. It's been weeks. Screw them. Don't hire them to do anything and definitely be wary of buying plumbing appliances from Best Buy because you'll run the risk of this company doing the install. They don't stand by their work and they have zero customer service. I live in an old house and have had worked with various plumbers over the years to make plumbing upgrades in the house and have never encountered this level of unprofessionalism and poor work ethic before. read more

We had to buy a new dishwasher after 16 years. Got it at Best Buy and got the installation pkg. I looked up Best Yet when I learned they were the installers. The reviews were mixed, but I always give a company the benefit of the doubt. I have to say after our experience- that the people at this company are EXCELLENT! The communication was great- I received the call the day before and then 30 minutes prior to arrival. Kyle and his crew came and were extremely pleasant and professional. It turned out that code had changed and we needed an updated electrical outlet. They tried to see if they could do it, but the configuration of the house prevented them from completing. So they said have your electrician put it in and they would come back. We had our electrician, a friend of ours do the work- and he confirmed it WAS NECESSARY. Best Yet came back on the day scheduled. This time it was Brett and Nick. Again both excellent, professional and friendly. They went right to work and installed the dishwasher with expertise and care for our home. They took the time to show me how to run it and when I asked about cleaning the stainless steel, they got a product out of the truck and cleaned it and recommended it. Very impressed with the entire operation and everyone involved- from the staff who answers the phones to the installers. Thank you for a GREAT service experience! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. To be fair though, they did (finally) deliver my appliances. However, they did not call as they said they would, and I was assured they would, they did not haul away the old appliances as they were supposed to do (which I paid for), and when I called back to speak to a manager, I was greeted with inferences that I was the one to blame for everything since I was not present at the home for the newly moderated delivery window. Then I was scoffed at for thinking they would correct their problem the same day, and told they would not be coming back to haul away until they were available because my house was too far for them to correct their mistakes. The manager I spoke to turned out to be the owner, Gordon, and judging by his demeanor, I can see why his employees do not feel responsible for their mistakes as they are justified by him in doing whatever is in their best interests, and not the customers. Yet another company just cashing checks from Best Buy, yet not upholding the customer service Best Buy is known for. Make sure to avoid at all costs. Too bad Best Buy doesn't typically tell you who your delivery/ installation people are. The minor interaction I did have with the installer, via speakerphone, was probably the only semi-pleasant person I spoke to. Cory I think it was? Cory, get out now! This place is going to ruin your reputation. Best of luck Gordon! Not really. read more

This company was sent by Home Depot to install my gas dryer and remove the old one. The original charge was $100 labor. They informed me they needed to change the gas shut off valve to comply with code. Fine. They charged me $150 additional to install a $23 part. It took five minutes. I had to pay with cash or a check made out directly to the installer. They did not go over anything, told me the door on the dryer could not be turned around although I was told that it could be and I realized after Gordon left that it was changeable. Not a company I would recommend. read more

If I could leave zero or negative stars I would. Reading through these reviews I wonder if the 5 star reviews aren't from friends and family. Every one star rating was exactly my experience. They came to install an appliance (dishwasher) purchased from a big box store (Costco) and had high pressure tactics to sell WAY over priced parts. $150 for what turns out to be a $15 water hammer arrestor. Total scam business. I challenged the charge with my credit card and won the dispute. Apparently they did one thing right by actually pulling the permit. We'll see if they actually schedule and show up with the inspector. One of the worst experiences I've had with a service provider. As others have pointed out the appliance delivery was not the same as install and removal/haul away. I did a little research and it just so happens that the person from Best Yet who pulled the plumbing permit is also a manager at XPO who does the delivery. Seems dubious at best (yet). read more

Despite having twice confirmed my stove installation, "Best Yet" cancelled, wasting my entire day and that of my local handyman. All attempts to reach them -- at all times over the course of many days during business hours -- go to a voice mail that only says, "Mailbox Full." I caution anyone who is considering working with this business -- buyer beware. read more

Terrible customer service expects customers should schedule installation when its best for them. Very rude staff, they should change their name "Worst Yet Installations" read more

After a bit of a scheduling issue, Best Yet lives up to their name! We had our gas dryer in a tricky spot in our laundry room/bathroom and the guys came and removed our old dryer and installed the new one. They were professional and kind. Home Depot arranged this but if you have a choice, they are awesome! read more

If I could give a zero, I would. Best Yet installed a new dishwasher that I ordered from Best Buy. After they left, I noticed they damaged a tile. When I called, they were rude and told me they had pictures to prove I was wrong. I asked for the pictures, and they said they couldn't send them. I requested to speak to a manager, and I was told they would call back. I'm still waiting. I recently received a denial of my damage claim. I again asked for the pictures, and they told me to call another third party. I went back to Best Buy who is ultimately responsible for working with Best Yet. Best Buy had me call a third party that reviews claims and transferred me to the person responsible for the claim. She has no voicemail setup, and I was told to email her. She didn't provide an email on the voicemail. This has been a horrible customer experience all around. I will never use Best Yet, or buy anything from Best Buy in the future. read more

I purchased an LG range from BestBuy after having issues with a purchase I made at another store. Best Yet was the company sent to install the first range and I learned that my range was not the right size for my kitchen; Brett recommended a range that would fit in my kitchen due to the age of my home. Fast forward I purchase a new range from BestBuy and contacted Best Yet to install. Due to the lack of knowledge on my part I did not schedule an installation date through Best Buy but contacted Best Yet directly. I was waiting for a call from Best Yet for installation time of arrival. I did not receive a call so before the end of the day I contacted Best Yet; I was not in the system for delivery and Best Yet was not sure if they were able to fit me in. I was speaking with John and he was very apologetic and doing his best to get me on the schedule. I am happy to say John fit me into the schedule and my range stove was installed by Brett and others just in time for Thanksgiving. Thank you Ashley and John from Best Yet Installations you made a customer very happy. I look forward to cooking my Thanksgiving dinner and many other meals on my new range. Thank you Deneen S. read more

Initial purchase of my dishwasher was on October 12th and my next rescheduled date is November 14th. They are totally unavailable for the time frames and windows agreed upon and unrealistic for rescheduling. Each time we schedule a new time, they call with a "I'm here now" and it's 5 hours too early. If they can only do mornings, then they should never accept afternoon requests. I will never purchase a product from a company that hires them for installation from now on. read more

My husband and I received our beautiful brand new gas stove from Best Buy recently and we were very happy with this installation group. The two gentlemen took the time to test it and make sure it was working perfectly before they left. And I love that after they removed the old stove, they asked us if we'd like to clean the floor before they inserted the new one. Being we just moved into this condo one week prior, there was a lot of filth so it seems like a little thing but something that was really important to me. Would absolutely use their services again. read more

I had a dishwasher installed through Best Buy. They arrived on time, even called me to let me know they were coming. Geoff and Mike were really nice and very professional. They removed my old dishwasher and installed the new one very quickly. Everything went well and they cleaned up any mess. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Do not sign up for installation with this company. They were hired to install my oven. First, they did not measure the space they were going to put the oven into and were going to install a new oven sticking out 5+ inches from my countertop. I luckily brought up the size that they then checked and stopped them but they removed the old oven and changed the venting before this leaving me with a huge hole in my floor and no oven right before the holiday. I was told someone else would come to "professionally" cut the countertops however this also resulted in an incredibly poor experience. Each of the staff members seemed unknowledgeable, making repeated phone calls to others and I was repeatedly told whatever happened, they would not be liable. The countertop cut is NOT straight or accurate. Leaving me with a large gap between my oven and my countertop. I spent thousands of dollars on a top of the line oven and the installation has ruined my kitchen island. I honestly cannot explain all the additional disappointments I have had during this experience. read more
