Replacement top tank on a wall mounted toilet. Called on a Saturday and they were able to come on Monday (and a holiday at that!). Rob was our Plumbing Technician and an absolute professional. He worked tirelessly to try and find a replacement tank for our older toilet model that had been discontinued. Once he had gotten in contact with the manufacturer and several warehouses, he determined he could not find a replacement tank and replacing the whole toilet would be the way to go. The quote was $1,923, including their service fee, which I thought was a bit high, but I understood wall mounted toilets are a little pricier than floor mounted, and it was going to be done correctly by a plumbing professional and insured company. So, at this point let's go ahead and replace this bad boy. Toilet should come in by Tuesday and install will be Wednesday morning. Get a call Wednesday morning that they'd like to know if they can come earlier, absolutely, I need a new toilet asap! A different plumbing technician comes, (Scott?) and an apprentice (Dylan). They are also both very professional and nice (my dogs even liked them). They get the new toilet installed and it still works like a charm. read more

To add to my previous review for Notturno Home Services; Yesterday we had them install a new hot water heater and toilet. Both were on their way out, so needed to have it done soon. They were right on time, love the way you are notified by text and e-mail with updates, such as arrival time etc.. Nick came out with Kevin. While Kevin was replacing the toilet, Nick was taking care of the hot water heater, draining the old one for removal, then installing the new one, new gas line, new exhaust vent etc.. My system needed a complete update to bring up to code. They kept me informed of what they were doing throughout the service. They were very clean and thorough, informed me of things I needed to know, about maintenance, warranty and any future services available if needed. This company is a scam at least when it comes to HVAC. We had an emergency and while they came promptly the next day it was merely a filter change that they tried to bang around upstairs for 2 hours and then tell us our sensors were broken and charge us 2400$ for a 160$ maintenance job TOPS. Thank you to an Amazing team of people. I called and spoke to Erin who was amazing she understood right away I was in distress, Erin took the information she needed and had mike notturno call me to talk me off a ledge in the middle of the night when my water main broke in my basement. He told me exactly what to do and it stopped the water, not completely but enough to walk a way for a bit. He told me to call the town I live in and have someone from Dpw come out and shut the water off. I called and waited, then mike called back and told me to keep calling until someone shows up. So I did and it worked. Someone was here in minutes to shut off the water to the house. The next morning Dillon and John were in my driveway ready to go to work. They handled everything even Called to have dpw come out and turn the water back on. John and Dillon explained everything to me and completed the job clean and fast. I called every plumber that was open 24hrs and got a call facility, where they took a message and never called me back. Roto rooter told me they could send someone in 2weeks. This company sent a tech to do a faucet installation.  After insisting on a $69 "service fee", he proceeded to tell us that the one hole faucet we bought can't be installed because we have a 3 hole sink and it's a one hole faucet. The thing is, there's a one hole faucet currently installed in that 3 hole sink! The other holes are covered by a deck plate, as is standard. The technician said that they would not recommend using a universal deck plate because it would leak, and that the faucet we bought didn't come with a deck plate.  How is it going to leak at the deck plate when all of the hoses and lines are self-contained within a sheath that fits into the middle hole and extends 6-8" below the level of the sink? Maybe Natturno's world has different laws of physics, but in this world the very last place it would leak (the only place it literally could not leak) is at the deck plate!!! Hell, the current sink has a universal deck plate that was installed over 10 years ago and it has never leaked once - because it can't! The current sink's water lines are also contained within a sheath that extends 6" below the level of the sink! Then, just to make certain that I was correct, I looked through the box the faucet came in. Not only did it come with a deck plate, but the paperwork/instructions contain a sheet of included parts, on top, which includes the deck plate! It's #10 and there's a freakin picture of it!!! When I texted a photo to the owner of the parts list in its original plastic ziploc-type bag, he responded that he had never seen sink paperwork that came in a zip-top bag before. Are you kidding me? My television's paperwork came in exactly such a bag, as did my smoker, grill, refrigerator, dishwasher and the owners manual for my cell phone! We keep all such papers in the same drawer. The papers for my water-heater are in one too - which Natturno installed!! He also said that because he couldn't tell the brand name of the faucet in our upstairs bathroom (which is lightly dripping), he would have to install a whole new faucet which would cost between $550 and $600!  It's for a drip in a standard 3-hole bathroom faucet!!!  The nut just needs to be tightened!  Maybe the nut needs to come off and a washer or a little Teflon tape be added and then the nut put back on, but under no circumstances does the entire faucet need to be replaced for a light drip! I spoke to the owner about all of this and caught him in 2 or 3 lies. And that's not counting his accusation that I was rude to his technician - which is interesting because I never spoke a single word to the man! I never even saw him! We were conversing through my wife!! How could I have possibly been rude to someone I never spoke to?? Bottom line - the technician saw a woman and a disabled man and decided to engage in predatory practices. He wasn't aware that the disabled man in the other room has done a ton of faucet installs. I was simply willing to pay someone to do a simple job that I could essily do, but would cause me pain to do! When I informed the owner that I would be reporting the incident to any group where disabled veterans or elderly people might be, to warn them about their practices, Mr. Notturno told me how generous he is when disabled veteran organizations "come sniffing around with their hand out" so "good luck on that". Who do you think disabled vets are going to listen to? Some punk who makes donations to people he clearly looks down on and considers beggars, or one of their own? Unless you want to be taken for a ride, steer clear of Notturno!  And it's really a shame to have to say that, because they did an excellent job with our water heater 2 years ago. But, just like Straight Flush before them, they clearly do excellent work at reasonable prices until they think they've "got you", and then switch up to their real business tactics - screwing over women and disabled people!  I wonder if this is common practice among all tradesmen in Bellingham because this is the second time this is happening in 3.5 years living here. read more

The technician charged me a $323 fee (which included cutting hole in ceiling underneath shower unit) to inspect a leak in a shower unit in master bedroom. He noticed a very small surface crack on bottom of shower and was not interested in repairing crack or fixing the leak. He said that I really had to get a new shower unit and referred me to Sales. They gave me a fixed price estimate for $5,000 to replace the shower unit. Appears to be a nice 'upsell' opportunity for them. I found another plumber who fixed the leak for $143. He also said that I could easily patch the crack in the bottom of the shower unit. In summary, a VERY DISAPPOINTING experience. read more

Great plumbers but unfortunately the girls who answer the phones take no responsibility for what they tell you over the phone. When someone tells me something is a flat fee of $79 to me that's means it should cost $79. Especially when they use the term flat fee. When questioned about it they just acted like my wife was a total liar and a moron. Too bad too cause the plumber they sent out was great but can't do business with people who lie to you. What's even sadder was I'd just had like $1200 dollars of work done 2 weeks before and had signed up for their stupid membership loyalty program for an extra $200 a year. My bad!! read more

Wonderful experience all around! I first spoke to Erin about having air conditioning installed in my parents' home. She arranged to have Chris come to the house the following week. He was on time, professional, super friendly and so thorough! He went all through the house & basement and planned out the best way to go about installation. He even took a video for his installation guys, walking them through it! He made sure we had plenty of power, so we would not have to upgrade the electric. Chris was able to give us a free estimate on the spot! Installation was the following week. Ross and Andrew were amazing! They arrived on time, were professional, and did a fabulous job of installing two LG mini splits as well as the outside condenser. The guys were so courteous to my elderly parents. I recently was tasked with getting an aging, out-of-warranty water heater replaced and had NO idea where to start. For me, plumbers are one of those things that you never think about until you really need one. I sent a few emails to other Yelp hits, a couple of phone calls that never went anywhere, and I was quickly seeing a dwindling list of option. Luckily, my Better Half had heard Mike Notturno had made quite a good name in the area for his services so I shot him an email. He responded very quickly, I think the same day, and we opened the dialogue about what I needed and when I needed it done by. He was very accommodating with my schedule and we booked the appointment with a quoted price. Installation day rolls around, and Mike shows up with his partner exactly on schedule. He came into the house, got a quick lay of the land, and got right to task. About an hour and a half later, he let me know he was done, gave me a quick review of the new heater and I paid the man. At no point did I feel that I overpaid, or was getting any sort of runaround - so either I didn't, or he was really good at covering it up! Noturrno has saved the day! We have been in the process of renovating our kitchen and adding a new full bath. our original plumber was a nightmare. We called Notturno in a pretty tough position with our project. We were so close to being finished but the original plumber wasn't showing up or responding. When I spoke with Mike, he not only agreed to take our project on, but also assured us he would fix what what wrong and complete our project in a timely mannor. John and Dillon worked all day (showed up at 7:30 am!!). They solved problems and finish installing our shower, toilet, faucet, dishwasher and they checked to make sure our gas stove was installed properly. Where to start. The first appointment was cancelled last minute. They charge a $50 service fee to check your pluming for leaks. They said everything was fine. A week later my vanity was full of mold. Not sure how professionals could miss that. To top it off, they return and misdiagnosed the mold leak saying that there was nothing they could do about it as it was coming from the ground. Wrong yet AGAIN. It was a pipe leaking from above. Never again! read more

Called Notturno on recommendation from a local HVAC contractor. They provided a two hour window and arrived right on time. My toilet tank was leaking and I thought for certain that the gasket at the bottom of the tank had to be replaced. They could have easily replaced it and I wouldn't have known better. Instead what was wrong was a toilet bowl automatic cleaner in the tank has a tube attached that was not put back properly and caused the leak. They figured it out in two minutes, moved the hose and left. No charge. They didn't even charge for a minimum service visit. As a result, anytime in the future where I need plumbing services they will be my first and only call. read more
