Back again and still pleased with the consistency of this place. Room 433 has a tub , it's considered an accessible room and truth be told, I enjoyed the wider space. This one is a 2 Queen bed room. We booked too late and that's all they had available, but both hubs and I slept in the middle of the beds lol, so win win. Parking is ample even for a sold out hotel, still loving the bright anti vampire lights that surround the building at night. Location wise, walking distance to a lot of restaurants, Dollar tree, Target etc so it works. I'm a slow walker and it literally took me seven minutes to get there. So any normal being can zoom on by in about 5 minutes.

She googled a few hotels while I leaned forward like a granny and tried to stay on the road and she called Homewood and booked a room immediately - being that we are both Hilton Diamond members. We had a nice, large suite with a full kitchen. Homewood really does look like someone's "home" - the bedroom is separate from the "living" or sitting room and it's quite cozy. My reasonings for not rating it as a 4 or 5* is - most Hilton's give us complimentary water and sometimes snacks at check in for Diamond members. This hotel did not offer water, nor did it have water or ANY "incidentals" - ya know: mini bar, sodas, candy, overpriced nuts - for purchase in the room. It. had. nothing. A completely empty refridgerator (apartment/full size). Every Hilton property I've ever been in has at least had bottled water with a nice little $3 price tag hanging from it. Oh...and their free breakfast...yucky powdered eggs and cheapy sausage. Orange juice in a box, like in grade school. Dried up looking pastries...the only edible offering was the waffle machine. Blech.... So....it got us through the night comfortably, on short notice....it's new and clean....just come prepared with your own snacks n stuff and skip their breakfast....it's not worth getting up early for.

My price was $78 before tax and I got a king size bed suite. Booked room on Priceline but I was able to see the hotel name before booking it. This hotel seemed to be at least $20 cheaper than comparable hotels in the area. My room is clean with a lot of space. I will stay here again especially if the price is lower than other area hotels

I would give it 5 stars but had an incident with both housekeeping and a man and the front desk, let me explain. Majestic Inn has a checkout time of 11am. Its clearly stated, and not a problem on my end. On my first night here I was coming from El Paso, and I arrived later than I expected.. no biggie, but my point was I was tired. When I got to my room, I couldn't find any do not disturb signs to hang on my door, but I was told at the front desk by a lady that it wont be a problem to sleep in. I thought it would be ok. 9am A housekeeping lady is banging on my door, wakes me up, and when I get to the door and ask her what she wants, she becomes apologetic, and walks away. At this point im furious, because I still have 2 more hours with the room and was woken up. I took a shower and checked out, not bringing this up to the lady at the counter but there would be no point. I wasn't looking for a free or discount. My meetings in Longview that day lasted longer than expected and I decided to stay in Longview for another night and had gotten over the rude awakening. When I went back, and checked in I dealt with a man at the counter, and all I said was, I do not wish to be disturbed in the morning by housekeeping, could you give me a sign or pass that along to them? I was greeted by a look of disbelief and shock and was told that never could happen. After I explained to him that actually it does happen, and it happened to me this morning, I was basicly called a liar. I was tired, and let it go, but to me this was a big insult.. I have no reason to lie, and all I wanted was to be left without being disturbed...so again, everything else was great, price was awesome, but this situation bugged me, and I should have just gone somewhere else when told I was lying. The second night I stayed, I was not disturbed. This was a good thing for them, as there would have been hell to pay had it happened two times in a row.
