I went in this property a few weeks back, I inquired or was about renting a blocking rooms for a wedding party, 10-12 rooms, while the front desk person was busy I went to the restroom in the lobby, when I came out there was a employee I do not know or get his name, but he stood there and asked me are you a guest at the hotel, I said no I was not, but explained what I was going to do, he said well your not a guest the restrooms are for guests only, so no 10-12 rooms for you guys. Btw! I am a IHG platinum member and I explained that as well and still it was your not a guest I understand I wasn't I would have been for 20-24 people, but we found another hotel that was just as nice read more

Wonderful stay while visiting my mom for her birthday. Front desk friendly and helpful. Clean comfy beds. Soft & firm pillows. Great breakfast with malted wheat waffles. Brought my 81yr mom over to enjoy the heated pool. Sat for a while in the sitting room putting a puzzle together while waited for our suits to dry in the free laundry. We'll be back. read more

Sorry I could only give this hotel three stars. It's nice it's clean but you can see where it is aging. We are in between houses moving from Houston to Longview. We stayed two weeks in the staybridge in Houston iah. This was newer and very very nice. The food was ok at their socials they have on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. But the employees are exceptional. Very attentive and kind. That place being close to the airport is soundproof. Longview - we rented the two room suite. Furniture is old and when you sit in it, it's a pain trying to get out of it. It's very low. The carpet trim is coming off the wall. Someone put a hole in the wall and it was patched and painted, wrong paint. The switch for the bathroom is behind the door. I'm highly allergic to cats and the previous people must have had cats because the first night my eyes were itchy and my throat is closing up . My husband had to got to Walmart to buy some cushions and some spray for the cat dander. How I am going to survive these two weeks ugh!! Breakfast was awesome this morning. Another Amazing IHG Property!! I had the pleasure of staying at this property while in the Longview area for business. I found the hotel on my IHG iPhone app. I was looking at some other hotels in the area, but this one caught my eye. Not only did it look like a really outstanding hotel, but it also had many features that made it easy to choose this location. This hotel has large clean modern and spacious rooms, It also has a great fitness center and a really attractive outdoor courtyard. My room was amazing from the moment I walked in. Due to this hotel being almost full, the front desk gave me a two-bedroom suite!! My room was phenomenal, it was clean, bright and modern. The kitchen had a full-sized refrigerator, a countertop heating element for cooking, a dishwasher, a sink and plenty of kitchen cabinet space. I would most certainly stay here again if I'm in town for more then a few days. My room also had its own living room area and an island that separated the kitchen from the living room. One bedroom had one bed and a large desk, that I found very comfortable to do work. The other bedroom had two beds and it lead to the modern, clean and roomy bathroom, which I had a very long shower with plenty of hot water. The outdoor courtyard is what sold me on this hotel. It is just an amazing space with lots of seating and a covered area with a few tables and chairs. I had breakfast there in the morning sunshine. It was a very nice touch to this hotel, and worth the stay. Did I mention as well that on certain nights they have a manager's reception in which they serve dinner and drinks?? One of the hotel staff told me they often did barbecues for the guests. If I wasn't having dinner that night at Dudleys Cajun cafe, I most certainly would have eaten at the hotel that night. lastly the fitness center. as a travelling Crossfitter, I tend to work out at the local Crossfit if there is one near the hotel where I'm staying. Since I was pressed for time after a long drive from Baytown, I decided to workout after my dinner at Dudleys' (trust me I needed it). I did have a great workout in a comfortable and modern fitness center. The Fitness center has newer cardio machines, plenty of free weights and to help you it has workout posters on the wall. This hotel is as high end as you can get, but there is no denying the value here for the price. I got an exceptional deal from the IHG app, I got a great room, the wifi was fast, the rooms are modern and have many ports that you can plug in your electronics, and they feed you at breakfast and on some nights. The breakfast is plentiful with many many options. I highly recommended this property if you're in the Longview area. read more

This place was terrible, and an embarrassment to IHG. I've stayed at a IHG hotel before in Brooklyn, NYC - the Indigo - and could see how this could work, but it didn't for me. Everything felt like it went wrong. -Pool was not available. -The room smelled like sulphur. Rotten eggs. Farts. I was with my elderly mother who couldn't smell, and we were in a rush for a funeral, so we stayed in the room anyway. Yeah. -The Wifi login wouldn't work with a dark mode Chrome extension on my laptop. Weird - nevcer had that issue, and I seem to remember it working fine at the IHG hotel in NYC. -There was debris all over the hallway, as there was renovation going on. I guess every last penny of revenue counts, IHG! -My chair was trashed. The seat had a huge rip across it with threads and fabric. I asked for an extra chair, and it was trashed too. -Ran out of milk at the free breakfast. WHAT? -The icing on the cake? We got locked out of our room right at checkout time (11am) when the keys stopped working. It felt like we were being treated like criminals. I need to add: The employees were VERY helpful and friendly, when I couldn't log in the front desk called the manager AT HOME and we figured it out - but it felt like they were putting lipstick on a pig. I understand they are going through a renovation, but why do it while still booking guests? That is only going to drive away customers! Not smart! I won't ever trust this chain again! read more

I will start by saying the hotel is undergoing a full remodel. Some inconveniences are expected. We were traveling for business and stayed for several weeks. The gym is nice, a little small if there are more than two people wanting to use weights but everything is new and working. We didn't use pool/hot tub. Definitely want to give the happy/social hour team a special shout out. You can really tell Jawana & Suzanna take pride coming up with ways to serve the guests. I've stayed here many times and really liked it and the rooms. This stay there was no indication at time of booking a few weeks ago that the place was under extreme renovation. The hallways, elevators, state of the rooms all look very rough. It seems regular fixes and maintenance has taken a break as rooms will be remodeled soon. Room is in shambles. I wouldn't care too much, but I paid the premium price this hotel usually commands. Continental breakfast opening at 7:30? That's absurd. Nothing like loitering for 45 minutes in the lobby waiting on food. I will be reaching out to management for a partial refund. read more

We were staying for a slumber party with a total of eight girls. Once the main party came to the hotel it was all of a sudden a problem. My aunt amber went down to the front desk to ask what happened and they told us that we can have a total of six girls in the room or we would have to relocate. Well before all of this they told it was okay and well the problem was of the color of our skin. We weren't to loud nor destructive but they still had a problem. When the cops got here they told us this has happened before multiple times. We spent 500$ on a room and got zero dollars back. We didn't even stay the night. I do not recommend. read more

After staying in a hotel after hotel this place is by far the best home away from home I've been assigned to. Yolanda at the front desk has gone above and beyond for every need that I've ever had while away from home. After working a double shift she even took it upon herself to find a location quickly I could fix my phone and be back to my assignment. Without the hospitality of the housekeeping and the front office staff this could have been just a regular stay but instead they have made it the place I want to stay when I'm away from home! They are passionate about their guests. We had a baby in the NICU here in Longview. The staff has been extremely helpful and encouraging while we were there. Excited when we were out of the hospital. My husband was able to work from either or room or the business areas. The manager's social always had excellent food. The breakfast was amazing each morning. There was passion in the way food was prepared. They even brought us a crib for the one night we stayed with our newborn baby after we were out of the NICU. A place I'd recommend to anyone. Was in town for a basketball tournament with about eight 14 year old boys and really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms and facilities were top notch and the staff were even better. At one point, the boys became a little loud after 11 at night. So to calm them down, the general manager (sorry I can't recall your name) brought them fresh baked cookies... 3 times throughout the night! read more

I' ve personally seen her stop and ask co-worker's in other departments if she can help them in anyway. She always asks if we need anything (maintenance or otherwise). Overall, this was a good place for us to stay on our last visit to Longview. The rooms here are "suites", which I guess means they have a mini kitchen. Our room was a large studio room - no separate bedroom. Our room was neat and tidy... Modern furniture, colors and design. Comfortable bed. They served a hot breakfast each morning. For a hotel, they had a good variety of food, and a better than average level of food quality, IMHO. The staff were friendly, helpful, and kind. Only negatives? Light leakage at the base of the room curtains (bright parking lot lights), and the wifi was slower than I'm used to (2Mbps down/0.95 up... I expect 10mbps down at least to call it "fast". Just turned off wifi on my phone and used LTE instead.) read more

I love this hotel. The staff is the friendliest I've found. They alway are smiling and great you. They make you feel at home and very welcome. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Kitchens and all utensils are provided. Like a small apartment :) There breakfast is always top notch. Well repaired and a great variety. There is no skimping on the quality of there food. 3 nights a week they have a fantastic manager dinner. The menu varies and again top notch. My family had crushing news that a dear relative had fallen quite ill in Longview. We rushed up to be with them immediately not thinking about where to stay or what we might need while we stayed. We made sure everything was stable first and then stumbled upon The Staybridge Inn & Suites. This place was perfect for us! First, it was calming. We needed that after a chaotic trip up from Houston and through the hospital in Longview. Second, they had everything we needed! They had a complete pantry available, Free Fast Internet, Suites with Full Kitchens - including an ice maker in the fridge. Third, the beds were luxurious and CLEAN! Fourth, the pool & jacuzzi was spotless with plenty of clean towels. Fifth, the free breakfast was a real breakfast with a soda fountain! Sugary pop for me instead of yucky bitter coffee any day of the week! This was the perfect hotel stay. I can not think of one bad thing to say about it. I have travelled all over the world and this place made my very stressful trip turn into a pleasant stay. I am eager to stay at other locations now. I am truly spoiled. Thank you, Longview. There is a huge difference in a place that cares about your stay and the hotels that are just trying to fill rooms. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The room had a fully stocked kitchen and even a dishwasher. The fridge is a small full sized with ice maker. read more

I am not much of a five star reviewer,but I honestly have no reason to give Staybridge less. My family came to Longview from all over the US for a funeral and the staff at Staybridge took good care of us. It is unusual to find staff at a three star hotel who are so courteous and friendly. Everyone who we encountered, from the staff at the desk, to the restaurant and cleaning staff were great. We had three adults so we stayed in a suite and the room was perfect for a three night stay. The room was stylish and clean with a full kitchen and separate living room space. The weeknight socials offered free dinner and beer and wine and the breakfast was fabulous. We were mostly surprised by the healthy options which included freshly cut fruit and good coffee. They did the best they could with the location, between the Lowes and Walmart, providing a relaxing outdoor area with firepit, comfy seating, pool, and hot tub. The fireplace in the lobby was a welcome sight after being out in the cold. My parents, joked that if the hotel were in Florida, they would retire there because it was such a great experience. read more
