I first looked in the Houston location, but everything I liked was either pending, sold, or went into contract before I could consider it. So I started looking in the Cleburne location and found several RVs I really liked. I chose one, drove up to buy it, but found some water damage, so I immediately found two more that I liked even better and went into contract that day, closing the next week. Even though the sales attitude is no-pressure, the purchase was fast, efficient, and the walk-thru proved extremely valuable so that I could learn how to operate and maintain my new-to-me rig. Best of all were the people I dealt with - Justin was the first person I spoke to by phone and he explained how the choosing/buying works, then Tom helped me with the contracts, and Wayne Ballard closed on the deal. Each person I met was friendly, personable, they all seemed to like working there, and everyone who handled my RV did a great job in their field of expertise. I already have "upgrade fever" and will definitely go back to PPL to either sell this one on consignment or just buy a new one and keep my first.

We had to constantly reach out for updates, and even then, getting any real information was like pulling teeth. We were told that there was a buyer at one point and they were waiting on funding that would take a couple of days. After a week, I called to get a status from the sales manager. He informed me that the buyer couldn't secure the funds, so the deal fell through. He then stated that he forgot to call me to let me know. It felt like they had no interest in keeping us informed except to encourage us to lower the asking price. On top of that, they tried to charge us for unnecessary repairs, claiming work needed to be done that was unnecessary. It felt like a clear attempt to pad their profits at our expense. For example, after initial delivery to their lot, they tried to charge nearly $250 to "install" a sliding screen door that took me literally 30 seconds or less to do on my own and fix a closet door that was supposedly not opening. When we went to the lot to see for ourselves, the closet door was mysteriously working. When the RV did finally sell, they did another inspection prior to the buyer taking possession. This revealed another $450 in needed repairs (estimated before cost of parts). Seeing this, I again went to see the need for these repairs for myself. Low and behold, 2 of the 3 identified repairs were proven to be false. The third I could not verify one way or the other and ended up having to pay $400 in parts and labor. However, I'm not sure if they actually even did anything. In the end, the RV did sell after several months, but the lack of transparency and poor customer service made the entire process far more stressful than it needed to be. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an honest and professional experience. Look elsewhere if you want a dealership that actually communicates and respects its customers.

**One of the worst purchasing experiences we have ever had.**…read more My husband and I purchased a toy hauler from RV Depot in **March 2025**. We had dreamed of owning a camper for years, and RV Depot made the purchase seem easy. They accepted our **$6,500 down payment** with friendly smiles and sold us what appeared to be a beautiful camper. What they failed to do was provide a valid title. RV Depot sold us a camper they did not have the title for--and, despite months of promises and excuses, they were never able to obtain it. We were able to use the camper only once, before the temporary paper plates expired. After that, we could not legally get permanent plates because of the title problem. For nearly a year, we dealt with repeated delays, excuses, and frustration. We were paying for a camper that we could not properly register or use. Eventually, we had no choice but to surrender it back to RV Depot in **December 2025** and ask to be released from the loan. The way this situation was handled afterward was just as unacceptable. We spent months trying to reach an agreement regarding the return of our down payment. Although RV Depot should never have sold us a camper without being able to provide the title, they continued to delay the process. When they finally took the camper back, they deducted additional amounts for various reasons--even though we returned it in pristine condition. We had also invested more than **$3,000 in two brand-new air-conditioning units** after the original units failed, just a few months later, along with other updates and improvements. None of that seemed to matter. After everything was supposedly settled, RV Depot sent us a check for only **$863.32** out of our original $6,500 down payment. To make matters worse, the owners never contacted us personally--not once. There was no phone call, no email, no apology, and no attempt to take responsibility for selling us a camper without a title. We were left dealing with an assistant while the owners appeared more concerned with their own issues than with the customers they had seriously inconvenienced and financially harmed. This was not a minor misunderstanding. We were sold an RV that we could not properly register or use, left to deal with the consequences for months, and then given only a fraction of our down payment back. The entire experience was frustrating, insulting, and completely unacceptable. **Please be extremely careful before doing business with RV Depot. Ask for proof of title and verify all paperwork before giving them any money. We deeply regret trusting this company with such an important purchase. But I believe you reap what you sow so that's something they have to live with, not me.**

Sadly, those previous techs just cost us hundreds of dollars for nothing. After two days of serious towing struggles, we finally turned to the service department at Holiday World, and they were a breath of fresh air. Sam, the Service Department Manager, was sincerely caring about our concerns, but he went way beyond that. He made sure our hitch was fixed properly and permanently so we could feel safe on the road again. He even came over after hours (no kidding!) with his son to make sure everything was completely squared away. This is hands-down the best service we have ever received. Even though there is a Montana service center (Ron Hoover) much closer to us in Georgetown, we will happily make the trip up to Alvarado from now on. It is well worth the drive to know the job is being done right by skilled, genuinely caring professionals.
