We signed the paperwork for our 2026 Forest River 360 MYR Impression RV on April 24, 2026, we made arrangements to pick up the RV on the 26 th but after arriving at dealership and waiting to take the final walk through we were told there were issues with some of the lights so instead of spending our whole day there waiting on repairs we chose to RS pickup the next day. We made it very clear to the sales team that we were selling our home and would be living full-time in this RV. They knew this wasn't a weekend camper--it was going to be our home. We also purchased every warranty and service plan they offered for peace of mind, because the sales team did tell us "it's not if something goes wrong , it's when something goes wrong." Within two weeks, the front air conditioner stopped working; and the lights still continued to flicker. We called Fun Town service department multiple times and received no response. When we went to the dealership in person, we were directed to the service department but were told we couldn't speak with anyone without an appointment. We explained that we had already called and emailed several times without receiving a response. The representative even acknowledged that she had emailed the service department as well. Around the same time, we discovered that the fireplace also didn't work. Since we had no functioning front A/C, we were forced to purchase a portable air conditioner just to keep our RV livable. After another two weeks, we finally reached someone who gave us the contact information for a mobile service technician. The technician has been helpful and has worked hard to resolve the issues, but the problems have continued. Along with the AC issues, the inverter failed and went out causing us to lose all the food in our refrigerator and freezer, and the batteries also failed. The technician replaced the inverter and addressed the battery issue. The repair process has been frustrating because the dealership repeatedly sent the wrong parts. The technician initially received the incorrect A/C part, delaying the repair even longer. The A/C was finally repaired on July 10, 2026. Unfortunately, the fireplace still isn't fixed because the wrong replacement part was sent again. To make matters worse, we have to pay the mobile technician $200 every time he comes out. We can submit our invoices for reimbursement, but we only receive $125 back, leaving us to cover the remaining cost ourselves. Since purchasing this RV, we've had to spend hundreds of dollars out of pocket, including: $700 for a portable air conditioner. The cost of replacing all the food that spoiled when the inverter failed. Multiple out-of-pocket service call charges. Ongoing inconvenience from electrical issues, including lights that still flicker. A fireplace that still does not work. What has disappointed us the most is the complete lack of communication from the dealership. We never received a follow-up call after the sale, and despite all of these issues, no one from Fun Town has contacted us to check on our situation or help resolve our concerns. This is our first RV purchase, so we can't compare Fun Town to other dealerships. What we can say is that our experience has been extremely disappointing. When you're making such a significant purchase--especially one that will serve as your home--you expect quality customer service and support after the sale. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience, and based on what we've gone through, we would not purchase another RV from Fun Town and definitely would not purchase another Forest River. read more

I put in a good review back in March 2026 for Funtown in Cleburne when I purchased a brand new RV. Now, July 30, 2026 and having my RV in the Funtown Service Center since June 6, 2026, my rating has dropped drastically. I was told 2 weeks ago that parts were in and warranty work approved, now I can not get anyone to call me or give me any updates. I have emailed and left messages for Melissa (service advisor), Andrew (service manager), even left a message for his boss and NOTHING! Extremely frustrating! Don't be mislead by appt. had May 6 apt was June before it was even looked at, here we are July and they still have it shifting blame on mfg. 1 yr warranty will expire in a couple weeks and we will seek another RV dealer to handle any needs. read more

Well, after picking up an RV from FUN TOWN dropped it off March 3 picked it up today and come to find repairs are not fully done. What the hell is going on here first time we paid over $2000 this time he paid 1700 and the job is not complete. Explain it to me where I can understand because I really don't know how in the hell you guys are still in business because we will never return and we'll pass the word around to other that have RVs. I would like to start off with, my wife and I were excited to start an adventure with RV Camping. We had been contemplating for many years to purchase an RV. After this long process we ended up going to Fun Town RV in Waller, Texas. We looked at some RV's. On June 2, 2025 we came back and looked at a couple more RV's. We put $1000.00 down on an RV we thought would be a good fit for us. We told the sales representative we needed to go home and pray about it. Which we did. We came back the next day We did not finalize the purchase because we needed to get our vehicle ready. Also the RV went through the Shop in Waller for inspections and something on the roof needed to replaced before we were able to pick it up. Finally on June 23, 2025 we finalized the purchase. We took possession of Venture RV and took it to a covered RV storage facility in Hempstead. On July 10, 2025 through July 13, 2025 we took the RV on our FIRST outing to Lake Somerville, Texas. The campground had shower and restroom facilities. We camped next to some good friends of ours who have a motor home and are experienced in RV camping. They were helping us with this experience. They advised us NOT to Poop in the RV 's toilet since we had facilities at the campground. We took their advice and DID NOT Poop in the RV's toilet. We did pee though. The first thing we noticed when we setup our RV was when we went into the RV one of the Valences was on the floor. It looked like someone had it duct taped it over the window because we could see the duct tape and the screws for the valance were not there. We turned on the Air Conditioner on at this point also. The AC unit seemed to be really loud. That evening the AC worked really well. We turned the fan to the low speed because it was just too Cold. Sometime around two or three in the morning we woke up because the RV was stuffy. The fan was blowing ok from the AC but NO Cool or Cold air. I turned the AC unit off and it immediately started leaking water on me. It was a pretty big leak but not huge. I then turned the unit back on and the leaking stopped. Later in the morning I turned the unit back off after placing a lot of towels on the floor to absorb the water I knew would be leaking out. Our friend Bob brought his ladder over and he took the cowling off the outside of the AC unit. He said the unit is frozen up and needs to thaw. We also noticed the filters were dirty. We did pour hot water on the coils and the unit did thaw after a couple of hours. We turned the AC on with the fan on high. I adjusted the thermostat knob to test if the unit wound freeze up or not. It seemed to be good test. The rest of the day and night we left the fan speed on high and adjusted the thermostat knob to a comfortable setting. This seemed to take care of the situation for the rest of that day and night. A little later that morning we opened the awning about a quarter of the way. We were sitting in chairs in front of our RV door with our friends. Or friend Diana looked up at the awning and said it looks like the awning is separating at the top. About that time I turned my head to look and the whole awning started coming unattached. I jumped up and caught one of the awning arms just in time to keep if from hitting someone. Bob caught the other end. Nancy(My Wife), and Diana jumped up to help. A fellow RV'er next to us saw what was happening, ran over and helped stabilize the middle of the awning. I hate to think what could have happened had Diana not seen the awning coming unattached. After several hours we re-secured the awning to the RV. Now I agree these issues are fixable. However the next incident was just Not Acceptable. As I stated before, this was our first outing. We got our RV ready to leave the camp ground. Bob helped us get ready. After getting all hooked up. We went to the Dump Station. Bob did his first. Then we, Bob and I, hooked our RV to the dump station. As we were cleaning the black tank, poop started coming out. I told Bob, "We Did Not Poop in the RV toilet." However the poop kept coming and coming. It was Totally Disgusting and Sickening. We did the tank cleaning twice, and poop was still coming out. I was in a state of disbelief and shock as were Nancy, Bob and Diana. On our way home we called The Fun Town RV, Waller office. We explained to the person who answered the phone the situation. He was very professional and was very determined to get us in just the right trailer to meet our needs.We settled on the Rockwood 2523MBR. It's a great floor plan ! Financial portion was very lengthy with a big sales push for warranty policies by Cody .The delivery process was ok but was rushed but Riley did a good job. Got the Trailer home only to find that the battery was not secured in the battery tray and the terminal nuts was never tightened.Who does that ??? Service department leaves a lot to be desired. We had to get the attention of the Regional Service Manager to get things right .We also made it a point to to let their UPC Operator Adriana Johnson who reached out to help us in this matter.She was very helpful and was the person responsible for getting us in touch with their Regional Service Manager Brandon who was instrumental in the resolution and assured us that he would look into the root cause so that this would not be repeated with future buyers.Overall not a pleasant buying experience therefore we cannot in good faith recommend Funtown RV.
