Stopped by this Autozone looking for a hose clamp for my Ram Pickup. Walked around store to see if…read moreon a shelf. Saw a guy standing behind the counter and asked about hose clamps he said they are behind the counter. Ok, showed him the one I had taken off and asked if they had any that size. Told me he as busy and didn't know so needed to go stand in line. Almost walked out but needed the part. Finally got to the counter and showed the employee the hose clamp I needed. Told me he didn't think they had a clamp that size but at least went back to look. Brought up something he thought might work but in talking decided it would not. Told me I should try NAPA as they carry larger parts for trucks. I did appreciate the employee taking time to at least look for a part even though didn't think AutoZone had one. I also appreciate the referral to NAPA who did have the part I needed and when I walked into NAPA the guy there stopped what he was doing to help me. For those 2 reasons is why I gave AutoZone 3 stars instead of a 1 or 2.

However, there was 5 other gentlemen in gray shirts roaming about behind the counters, all the while other customers started to come in. I wanted 5-6 minutes before someone decided to step up and assist. We talked about the car and changing the battery, talking just to be friendly we started on a discussion about our military experiences, that carried for a while. He was very friendly and helpful. I didn't catch his name, but I know what he looks like, he was a joy to talk to. Got my battery and all was good.

Dropped off 2 PWC cylinders on JULY 20TH to be blasted, bored, honed, and decked. Was given an…read moreestimate that they would work on them AUG 11TH and should have them done mid to late Aug. Called them on AUG 23RD and was told they blasted them and should be a few more weeks. Ok, no big deal I understand delays happen. Called again multiple times in mid/late Sept and got the same response. I'm starting to get a little frustrated at this point. Called again beginning of October and the same thing "the tech is measuring them and we should know in the next few days what pistons you need, I will call you once I know more". By now boating season is wrapping up. Finally said screw it and drove to the shop and picked them up OCT 24TH. During the span of 3 months, I never received 1 call about the status of the work, delays, or any info. Clearly my business is not important to them so I decided to take it elsewhere. I've been more than patient and understanding about the delays, but at a certain point I'm tired of being lied to. If you're a racer or have a trip or some sort of hard deadline you need a project finished by, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Also, in regards to the media blasting that they did do, I was told the coolant passages would be cleaned out and cylinder looking like new. Still lots of paint and corrosion everywhere on the cylinders and coolant passages. Lack of attention to detail and care for the customer. Will never do business with them and do not recommend.
