Awesome Experience - Highly Recommend! Had a great experience buying my RV here, everyone was super friendly and easy to work with. No pressure, no gimmicks, just helpful people who really knew their stuff and took the time to answer all my questions. They had a solid selection, and helped me find something that fit exactly what I was looking for. The whole process was smooth and they made sure I felt confident and comfortable before leaving. What really stood out was the follow up after the sale. They actually checked in to see how things were going, which you don't get everywhere. If you're thinking about getting an rv definitely check this place out. You won't regret it. read more

**One of the worst purchasing experiences we have ever had.** My husband and I purchased a toy hauler from RV Depot in **March 2025**. We had dreamed of owning a camper for years, and RV Depot made the purchase seem easy. They accepted our **$6,500 down payment** with friendly smiles and sold us what appeared to be a beautiful camper. What they failed to do was provide a valid title. RV Depot sold us a camper they did not have the title for--and, despite months of promises and excuses, they were never able to obtain it. We were able to use the camper only once, before the temporary paper plates expired. After that, we could not legally get permanent plates because of the title problem. For nearly a year, we dealt with repeated delays, excuses, and frustration. We were paying for a camper that we could not properly register or use. Eventually, we had no choice but to surrender it back to RV Depot in **December 2025** and ask to be released from the loan. The way this situation was handled afterward was just as unacceptable. We spent months trying to reach an agreement regarding the return of our down payment. Although RV Depot should never have sold us a camper without being able to provide the title, they continued to delay the process. When they finally took the camper back, they deducted additional amounts for various reasons--even though we returned it in pristine condition. We had also invested more than **$3,000 in two brand-new air-conditioning units** after the original units failed, just a few months later, along with other updates and improvements. None of that seemed to matter. After everything was supposedly settled, RV Depot sent us a check for only **$863.32** out of our original $6,500 down payment. To make matters worse, the owners never contacted us personally--not once. There was no phone call, no email, no apology, and no attempt to take responsibility for selling us a camper without a title. We were left dealing with an assistant while the owners appeared more concerned with their own issues than with the customers they had seriously inconvenienced and financially harmed. This was not a minor misunderstanding. We were sold an RV that we could not properly register or use, left to deal with the consequences for months, and then given only a fraction of our down payment back. The entire experience was frustrating, insulting, and completely unacceptable. **Please be extremely careful before doing business with RV Depot. Ask for proof of title and verify all paperwork before giving them any money. We deeply regret trusting this company with such an important purchase. But I believe you reap what you sow so that's something they have to live with, not me.** read more

Drove 2 hours and 45 minutes to pick up trailer after putting a $1000 deposit down. Get there and after getting insurance on the trailer was told I had to have a different braking system in my truck before I could take it. I told them I have never owned a RV before and there was no mention of said braking system. They did not even give a crap about not informing me of this addition needed to my truck before I could pull it. They have refused to give me my deposit back. Super unprofessional. When you walk in you realize this place is a joke. I had done the deposit over the phone to hold it. No mention of braking system. Seems awfully unfair to expect a first time owner to not be informed of additional charges. BTW I was desperate as my home burnt to the ground 2 weeks ago and have been living in a hotel ever since said fire. I'm on a very tight budget and these people are rude and do not want to help anyone out. Since I left they have called every 5 minutes telling me my new home is ready to pick up after I told them this was not going to work out for me. So another 2 hour and 45 minute drive back to the hotel that I need to be out of very soon. DO NOT GO HERE. ITS A SCAM AND NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY OFF KEEPING DEPOSITS. I HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE IN THE FUTURE. You would think that a company that doesn't inform new buyers of everything they will need before taking a deposit would have to refund the deposit to someone who has to replace every single possession that burned up in a fire. No compassion no empathy. Don't give a damn about their clients. DO NOT GO TO RV Depot it's a total scam!!! read more

They are frauds who take your money and screw you any way they can from the first moment you speak to anyone employed with them.do not let them get you like they have my daughter. She just got her camper this past Saturday she is already having to fix water leaks replace floors electric jackkeeps shorting out and this is just a few things we have realized in the first 5 days of purchase and they want us to bring it back 4hours away when they shouldn't have let her leave with such a large camper knowing that it would tear up her truck to begin with. She's 19 this is the first time she has ever purchased anything and they knew she would be traveling for work and living in it and still they are like just bring it back and pay for the parts and supplies and they'll fix it ...WTF!!!! Are you kidding me. They will screw you every chance they get and Kendrick the salesperson that sold her the piece of shit she's got won't tell you shit all he's worried about is taking your money!!! DO NOT BUY FROM RV DEPOT THEY WILL FUCK YOU OVER EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY CAN!!!! read more

ANIMAL CRUELTY & NEGLECT AT RV DEPOT IN CLEBURNE - HELP ME GET MY CAT BACK Safely!"I am sick to my stomach and need the Cleburne/Johnson County community's help to hold a local business accountable for nearly killing my cat.RV Depot (4319 N Main St, Cleburne) repossessed my RV. Because they failed to do a mandatory safety sweep of the interior, they unlawfully took my live pet cat who was inside. They drove 5 HOURS across Texas with her trapped inside the rig. When they arrived at the Cleburne lot, it got worse. They abandoned the RV in their parking lot and left my cat locked inside for OVER 12 HOURS WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING. She was subjected to roasting Texas heat, terrified, and left without a drop of water or care. She is out of the hot vehicle now, but she is still stuck at their lot 5 hours away from me. RV Depot is refusing to pay for a professional pet courier to bring her home to me, expecting me to pay out-of-pocket expenses to fix a dangerous, criminal mistake their team made.Leaving an animal to roast in a vehicle for 12 hours is a crime under Texas Penal Code § 42.092. I have contacted the Cleburne Police and Animal Control, but corporate management is dragging their feet. Please help me pressure RV Depot Cleburne to do the right thing, hire a professional pet courier, and bring my cat home safely today. Please share this to warn every pet owner in Johnson County about who they are dealing with!" read more

Scam! They couldn't even figure out what was wrong with the RV we came to look at. Wouldn't you expect them to have it up and running before our arrival? Nope. They refused to refund our $5k Deposit. read more

Ok so this is my first time being an RV owner. Although I didn't purchase my RV from them, I needed a sewer hose and decided to stop in. I was treated as soon as I walked in and asked what I needed help with. I told them and they pointed myself and my son to the store they have. The sales lady was more than helpful and got me fixed up with exactly what I needed without breaking the bank. I will be back you have made a customer for life. Also I will be coming to put a down payment on a good used RV from y'all in about 6-8 months. Thank You So Much read more

We just left the RV Depot, not even 20 minutes ago and suddenly we have a blowout when the salesman and even the mechanic said that everything was up to code, including the tires mind you everything is all on video recording by the way. We called their office just for them to give us the run around that this is on us and our fault. We didn't just spend our entire savings for this rv just for them to tell us they can't and won't do anything about it. This is on yall! We live 6 hours away!! A tire shouldn't even have a blowout 20 mins after leaving the lot! That is not normal whatsoever! And yall can't even answer the phone or provide us service or even give us a call back. Shame on this company. The employees were sooo rude and incompetent. Even the manager which is supposed to resolve their clients issues was a totally bitch! Yall are some money hungry useless ass employees. read more

RV Depot - Blow out. When the sales man and mechanic said it was up to code. - RV Dealers Near Me - Cleburne, Texas

My experience with RV Depot has been extremely disappointed. Shortly after purchasing my RV, I discovered several significant issues, including plumbing problems, electrical issues, and slide-out doors that do not close properly. These problems were not disclosed to me before the sale. As a customer, I expected honesty, transparency, and support after the sale. I have requested mediation to resolve this matter fairly, and I am pursuing complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies. read more

We were told to have an appointment at 12:00p.m. did not get greeted until after almost 2:00p.m. Worst place ever if I could leave zero star I would. Firstly they gave us a camper with a broken axel, Secondly a broken emergency brake almost blew the motor on my truck. Thirdly had to contact head administration because Colton, Justin, and Sarah ignored all my calls. Fourthly the water heater didn't work during walk through they were fixing it as we were leaving, also battery system is broken. Terrible customer service we were stranded all weekend in a Walmart parking lot. Watch out for these con artists they only care about sales nothing else. P.s. check your tires if you buy from them we got a spare turns out it was 20 years old and dry rotted. read more

It has been three weeks and no one from this company will return my husbands calls. we cannot get a sales manager or the owner to call us. prior to applying for a loan, they required $2,000 downpayment, non refundable if you get approved. if you don't get approved they won't keep your money. well he didn't get approved but then the salesman said we were approved for their in-house loan, but has a 19% interest rate. the in-house loan, or as they called it "a real bank" that the owner of the RV DEPOT just so happens to 'own'",was not discussed, approved, or disclosed as an option and seems to close the loop on their fraud against their customers. no one in their right mind would be ok paying a 19% interest rate when no bank outside of the RV DEPOT bank approved him. it is a TRAP. buyer beware. we have asked for our $2,000 to be returned, in good faith, as we were not approved by a bank without a direct conflict of interest to RV DEPOT. Please return our money in good faith as we never consented to the terms and conditions as they were never disclosed in good faith faith. please have the owner of service manager contact my husband. the downpayment was a direct violation of the UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE which RV DEPOT is responsible for knowing. ignorance of the law is no excuse please return our $2,000 that was put down in good faith read more

Do not buy from this dealer!!! They are frauds. Go check their Better Business complaints before you do business with them!!! Your $1000 deposit plus anything you put down regardless if you proceed with a purchase or not they WILL NOT give it back even if they damage the RV themselves after a deposit is made, not even return the down payment minus the deposit, but they blatantly lied about money being refunded if a purchase wasn't completed. I was told the down payment was refundable if the purchase wasn't completed. The deposit was non refundable but they damaged the RV after the deposit was made or didn't disclose the jack was damaged and the awning was broke (they will not fix an awning so I made sure to ask if the awning worked before I placed a deposit, and the sales person lied to my face and said it worked, Regan), so the deposit should have been returned on the basis that criminal fraud was committed by deception to sell a product. They intentionally hide damage and do not disclose known issues with the trailers. DO NOT trust anything the sales representative tells you verbally, get everything in writing!!!! Go through EVERYTHING on the RV you're looking at BEFORE you put a deposit down, I mean EVERYTHING slides, awning, pull out steps, step on every square inch of the floor to check for soft spots, open all the cabinets, check the tanks, check your lines, appliances etc. They are frauds. I have hired a lawyer to get my $3000 back they essentially stole from me, and have them investigated for criminal fraud. Attached picture of trailer note the bent jack that is hidden in one picture without the tanks (pictures the deposit was made based on) and the day of purchase after deposit and partial down payment it placed now visibly bent jack is out, and they refuse to refund my money but there were soooo many other issues asides the bent jack. When I returned to complete the purchase after I had already given them a sum of money $1000 for the deposit and $2000 toward the down payment, they were atrociously rude about $3.60 regarding the required 3 months RV insurance before you can take the RV off the lot when they made an error 3 months had been purchased as requested. The refused to give me the general managers name. I have attempted to contact the general manager 7 times now, in person as well as left messages, and he's unavailable. Two occasions I was hung up on as soon as I told them my name. Negative stars should be an option because it's not just a bad experience it's a scam by con artists when it looks like a legitimate dealership. read more

Worst buying experience in my whole life. Already had a sale pretty much made with Marie. She was super responsive and reachable right up until got my money. I walked in the front door of RV Depot and not one person said hello, acknowledged me, head nod, nothing. I was 30 minutes early as all Marines are and sat for a hour and 15 minutes. I walked to the front desk and asked for Marie, 30 minutes later she shows up. Was told she was getting the walkthrough tech, sat another 30 minutes until I went myself to do a walkthrough. John the walk through tech showed up and didn't respond to a hello, straight up ignored. RV was dirty, bathroom vent cover was on the sink, fireplace was removed without telling me then told it was a safety issue, asked to have it replaced, ignored. RV Depot is run by the worst people I've ever met. All about money, it shows in the showroom with all the owners kills from hunts he's done. read more

Absolutely Terrible Experience and Refusal to Refund at RV Depot - AVOID! I am writing this review to warn others about the incredibly unprofessional and frankly, unethical behavior I experienced with RV Depot. I was interested in purchasing a trailer and was told by their staff to look online. After finding one I liked, I was instructed to put down a $3,000 deposit, which I promptly did. Shortly after, they contacted me requesting an additional $1,000, which I also paid. I was then informed that my financing was approved - great news, or so I thought. The rug was then pulled out from under me when RV Depot contacted me again to tell me that the trailer I had selected and put a significant amount of money down on had already been sold! To add insult to injury, they are now refusing to refund my $4,000 deposit! This is completely unacceptable. They took my money, led me to believe I was purchasing a specific trailer, and are now holding my funds hostage after admitting they sold the unit to someone else. This entire process has been a nightmare of false promises and a complete lack of accountability. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing an RV to steer clear of RV Depot. Their business practices are questionable, and their customer service is nonexistent. read more

I hate to have to write this review as I was very hopeful for a good outcome since Dean, Justin, & Rachel were all so nice PRIOR TO THE SALE. It's been less than 48 hours and the RV we purchased is practically falling part. Aside from the cracked spare and worn out tires they had us drive out with (they replaced 1 out of 4), the leaking kitchen sink, half working amenities, the dirty dog hair everywhere, AND the holes in the wall that they covered with decorations, the WORST part is the tanks aren't functional. The handles for the tanks are broken, one rod completely comes out, & there's poop leaking from the black tank. The underbelly is cut and zip tied back together, so there was some type of obvious work done there. We called and tried to get some advice from the service department on how they drained the tanks and we were told by "Robin Robert" that we had to drive the trailer back to TX, all the way from CA, in order for them to show us. He assured us that everything was functioning properly, meaning they KNEW the tanks and handles weren't functional, yet let us drive off like that. We called at least expecting some guidance on the half done work they sold us, but we were met with an attitude and pretty much told to figure it out or drive back to TX. As a business owner myself, I could never allow my staff to treat clients like that & I would ensure myself that proper service is being given. We tried calling Sarah the owner, but have yet to hear back. We will be contacting an attorney and filing a consumer complaint and complaint with the BBB, unless we can get some answers on how to properly service our rig, since RV Depot couldn't properly inspect it prior to selling it. I hope to be able to update this review with positive results. read more

Very bad experience at this location. We put down a mandatory, non refundable deposit of $2000 after only seeing the rv online. Really, we should have seen that red flag as it was and discontinued shipping with this business, but we've owned that mistake. When we arrived, we realized the rv wasn't as nice as it looked in the photos. They were unwilling to negotiate the price at all even after things were pointed out in the walk through. One of the main things we pointed out was that the AC was dripping a LOT. It was written on the walk through paper and the tech said it would be looked at before we left. The sales rep tried to say it was just because it's been off for a while.... Not the case. All 4 rv tires also had dry rot, which was pointed out by the guy we hired to tow it out. He was rightfully concerned for the 3 hour drive back. After some hassle and lots of time waiting to get permission from the owner to even check the tires, they finally took it back to get them changed out. It took another couple hours for them to bring it back out but with only 3 tires replaced. Shocker! That 4th one that they didn't replace blew on the drive back, putting our driver and the rv in a dangerous spot on the side of the road. After finally getting it home and hooking it up, we discovered that the AC was never even looked at, as promised, before leaving and now we have a small water fall in the kitchen of we want to use the AC. The outlet for the microwave also doesn't work, so we have to remove it and plug it in elsewhere until we can get someone out to fix that too. We spoke with Kevin, after several days of not receiving call backs and basically being ignored, only to be told that if we wanted it looked at and maybe fixed, then we had to bring it back. It costs us $500 one way to move it, plus lodging for us and 2 dogs, because we live in it, and who knows how many days to fix it. They knew this. There was no offer to send someone out to us or outsource another RV repair company, nothing. Not only that, but another tire went flat so we are basically stationary. They were supposed to fix it before we left. It was in writing. And yes, I am considering filling a claim with the courts and most definitely with the BBB. They don't care once they get that deposit. I'm so disappointed that these people take advantage of those of us with poor credit who are just trying to work our way back up. I wish I had better pictures to show the nightmare we are dealing with; these just don't do it justice. read more

after finding the RV I really liked I did all of the necessary paperwork online and put down the required $2000 to hold the unit, I planned on picking it up in a few weeks because I had to prepare existing spot for the new one, my wife unexpectedly got extremely sick and was in ICU, she passed away in about a week, I texted my salesman explaining the situation and could really use the earnest money back for all of the upcoming expenses to take care of but no was the answer... So much for decency and doing right...I will never use a company with this attitude about compassion and I hope anyone reading this will see their real mission statement... and screw you is at the bottom of it, and by the looks of other posts it shows... read more
