The best car-buying experience with Legend and Parker!…read more I had an amazing experience purchasing my car thanks to Legend Brown and Parker. Legend was an outstanding salesman--knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right car. He made the process easy and stress-free, answering all my questions and making sure every detail was perfect. A big shoutout also goes to Parker in the finance department. He was friendly, transparent, and walked me through all the financing options so I could make the best decision confidently.

If you check other popular review platforms, you'll notice that Family VW of Burleson is flooded…read morewith near-perfect ratings. In my experience, that's not accidental--sales staff actively prompt customers to leave reviews while they're still at the dealership, often before the deal is even fully complete. Because of that, many of those glowing reviews deserve a closer look. I bought a lightly used vehicle that was marketed as "Certified," expecting that designation to mean something. Within a few weeks--and after only about 200 miles--the check engine light came on. When I brought it back, the service department suggested the damage must have been caused by hitting something like debris or an animal. While that's always possible, we had no recollection of any such incident. More importantly, the damage itself didn't support that explanation--affected areas were covered in grime consistent with older exposure, not fresh impact, and there hadn't even been rain during the time we owned the car. After pushing the issue, the dealership ultimately agreed to reverse the sale, which I do give them credit for. That said, I've continued tracking the vehicle by VIN, and it has since moved through multiple owners and dealerships. For a car sold as "Certified"--and priced accordingly--that situation should never have happened. An accident history alone should have disqualified it. While I can't prove the dealership knew about the prior damage, a proper certification inspection should have caught it. I also had a separate issue when ordering a part through their online system. The process seemed straightforward, but after placing the order, I received no updates at all. A full week passed with no status change. Attempts to reach out via email went unanswered, and even submitting a cancellation request produced no response. In the end, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and purchase the part elsewhere. Bottom line: approach Family VW of Burleson carefully. The surface impression may be polished, but when problems arise, they can be significant.

The sales person was super - did some checking on my old battery and stated it was done for - vehicle was a certified Honda Pilot from Honda of Fort Worth (they should have checked it, but probably didn't), but no matter, Walmart had a replacement and they installed it for me that evening. There were approx. 10 folks in front of me and they stayed past closing to get this job done. I was fortune enough to come by and stop at Walmart. Cost wasn't any more than other places, so I feel reasonably sure this battery will last for at least 4-6 years. Excellent workmanship! Highly recommend them.

I swear they be hiring anybody these days cuz damn people be dumb.

Called them on AUG 23RD and was told they blasted them and should be a few more weeks. Ok, no big deal I understand delays happen. Called again multiple times in mid/late Sept and got the same response. I'm starting to get a little frustrated at this point. Called again beginning of October and the same thing "the tech is measuring them and we should know in the next few days what pistons you need, I will call you once I know more". By now boating season is wrapping up. Finally said screw it and drove to the shop and picked them up OCT 24TH. During the span of 3 months, I never received 1 call about the status of the work, delays, or any info. Clearly my business is not important to them so I decided to take it elsewhere. I've been more than patient and understanding about the delays, but at a certain point I'm tired of being lied to. If you're a racer or have a trip or some sort of hard deadline you need a project finished by, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Also, in regards to the media blasting that they did do, I was told the coolant passages would be cleaned out and cylinder looking like new. Still lots of paint and corrosion everywhere on the cylinders and coolant passages. Lack of attention to detail and care for the customer. Will never do business with them and do not recommend.
