I needed a 2 person crew for a 10 minute move from a 3rd floor apartment in South Austin to a relatively nearby home. Richard Bailey messaged me here on Yelp and to my phone number after I contacted multiple movers. I can only say one slightly negative thing here. At first contact, I wasn't entirely certain that they had accepted my job offer and date. I did have to message a few times to make sure the date and time was actually locked down. I, and so many of us, have been "flaked" on in the past, as I did a few times in Nashville somewhat recently. So I felt I had to reach out a little more as I had a very tight timeline and was just trying to get all my ducks in a row. However with a few messages we did lock in the day and time with a couple days to spare. I would just say that when we are here putting multiple offers on Yelp, you do end up getting blasted by some companies immediately, too much so, but it does make them "seem eager" to lock in the job. Just a little better first contact would be the only slightly negative thing I could say. On to the great: I received a call and message from Gio of their ETA the day before and on the day, which they met. The heat/humidity combination got really bad, still they had surprisingly great attitudes and asked all the right questions when they came up. They wrapped and protected all the furniture as if it was going in a cross country van/semi-trailer. Going down apartment steps, everyone's furniture has gotten scratched and bonked and movers have just said.. oh well. These guys knew exactly what they were doing and everything arrived perfectly. They even had me "direct" them to which room or area as they pulled carts of boxes up to the home. Gio and Josh were just good people, hard workers with real attention to detail and a positive attitude. Placed a quote request on Yelp and was bombarded with responses. A lot of the companies requested more information; some didn't respond. Spoke to one guy who said he would send a quote and never did. Richard Bailey gets 10 stars for price, communication; recognizing the sense of urgency and the crew he hired to complete my move. He actually texted me right away; then we spoke briefly. Based on the conversation he gave me a verbal quote and booked my move for the next afternoon. His crew showed up on time. We're very professional; had great personalities and got me moved in two and a half hours. Nothing was broken either. Assembled my washer and dryer too. One of the crew members even gave me decorative advice as I moved from a 2300 sq. ft. house to a 1300 sq. ft. apartment and my couch didn't initially look right where I thought it should be! UPDATE -- They failed to show up AGAIN…read more I'm updating my review because unfortunately the situation with All My Sons Moving & Storage has gotten worse. After my original move was left incomplete, I finally received a response from the local office after posting a Google review. During our phone conversation, I was told a crew would come back to my home today between 5:00-6:00 PM to finish the job I already paid approximately $1,300 for. I rearranged my plans and made sure I was home specifically for them. No one showed up. By 7:21 PM, more than an hour after the promised window had passed, there was still no crew. I attempted to call the office and my calls were not answered. Meanwhile, the company has been active enough on social media to like my posts about this situation, yet I cannot get them to show up and complete the service I paid for. It has now been 14 days since my move, and my furniture remains unassembled and unusable. I still have portions of my reclining furniture separated, including exposed metal components, and I have been unable to properly use my living room furniture for two weeks. I have documented the condition of my home, my communications with the company, the phone calls, the promised return visit, and their social-media interactions. At this point, this is no longer simply about a disappointing moving experience. I paid for a service that was left unfinished, spent two weeks attempting to get the company to correct it, was specifically promised a crew would return today, and then was stood up without even a phone call. I gave this company another opportunity to make things right. They made another promise, I relied on that promise, and they failed to follow through. I am still requesting that All My Sons complete the job I paid for and appropriately compensate me for the unfinished service and continued loss of use of my furniture. I will continue updating this review to accurately document how this complaint is handled.

The crew leader then claimed they were not scheduled to start until 10:00 AM, contradicting what I was told when booking. The crew was inefficient throughout the move. They handled furniture carelessly during disassembly and even asked us for tools because they lacked the necessary equipment. They also arrived late to the storage unit and claimed they got lost, causing further delays that made it seem as though time and charges were being unnecessarily extended. I raised these concerns with Rico, the owner. Although he adjusted the bill, I later learned through my husband that his employees were listening to our private conversation on speaker while they were on mute, which I found highly unprofessional. The crew leader also gave Rico inaccurate information, claiming he arrived earlier than he actually did and that they had trouble accessing the apartment complex. My daughter and son were present and know neither claim was true. Overall, there were too many inconsistencies, excuses, and instances of dishonesty. A simple one-bedroom move should not have taken as long as it did, especially compared to larger moves our family has completed. I chose this company based on its reviews, but my experience was awful. Due to the poor professionalism, communication, efficiency, and respect for the customer's time and money, I would not use this company again or recommend it to others.
