But there was a problem from the beginning! The truck-based cleaning system broke down in my driveway, actually it was the onboard generator that runs the cleaning equipement. Walter, the cleaning technician was stranded here waiting for a new truck to be delivered. We chatted for some time, nice guy! The replacement truck was delivered by the owner of the company, Adam. He apologized to me for the inconvenience and shook my hand. I watched Walter work now and then, he cleaned, used neutralizer and smelled the loveseat cushions over and over. He did the cushion cleaning outside on a ground cloth! I waited 4 days to write this review; I wanted to make sure the Pee Smell was gone in both cases. They came over to inspect the damage, laid out the entire plan of what was needed to clean up the damage and laid down several heavy duty fans to start the drying process. They came by daily to measure the water percent in the affected walls, floors, ceilings and carpeting and they replaced the garage ceiling and insulation to prevent the formation of mould . Green Restoration stated they would determine what was needed once they were on scene and would provide me with an estimate. They agreed to be there that afternoon after I paid the required deposit. I didn't receive a call back on day one. On Day Two, I called and they stated that were currently on scene, it could not be boarded up safely and they were waiting for a supervisor to come to the scene. This was an outright lie as I was at the house when I made the call and Green Restoration was not. When I called them out, the woman on the phone stated that was the last activity she was aware of and she would let the project manager know to call me. On Day 3, after not receiving a call back, I called again and was told they were still figuring it out and I was assured I would receive a call and an estimate. Today, Day 4, I called and the same woman was unable to give me any further update or reason why I never received a courtesy call to update me. She said she was updating me. Only because I called her! Thirty minutes later, I open my email and get a message from Green Restoration service informing me they are unable to complete the job. Perhaps they should consider that they are not dealing with restoration services but PEOPLE in need of restoration services who are in a vulnerable state. They get one star for immediately refunding my deposit. Horrible experience under horrible conditions.
