Let me start by saying I had called three exterminating companies and none of them called me back. My girlfriend recommended A&S pest control out of West Haven. I live in Norwalk talking to the receptionist on the phone she was very lovely and professional. Which I found out is Al's wife. Without hesitation she told me that AL would come down on Friday to check out the situation. Sure enough, he was here took care of my BEE problem. WHICH WAS NOT EASY. Al was VERY PROFESSIONAL. He explained everything he was doing. He did not leave until he was satisfied that bees were dead. As of right now I don't hear any buzzing in the walls. Al deserves more than a 5 star. Came to our house because upstairs neighbors have a flea problem. He did our apartment and was told we had no fleas! I do have animals but no fleas. He came back to do upstairs again but not us because he told my Husband he didn't need to do our house because we have no fleas! Now upstairs needs it again. This makes three times in two months. Now he's saying the fleas are coming from our apartment! We still have NO fleas. Put flea traps around ourselves and no fleas! My animals sleep on our bed and nothing is crawling on us or biting us! I am very disappointed with this company. We have to sedate the cats to get them in carriers and sit outside for hours! We almost lost our dog the last time!! Not saying the guy wasn't nice but if he's saying it's our apartment he's a liar! Might look into an attorney because we are being harassed over this crap! read more

This company came to my condo complex not on a scheduled date and prayed for bugs. All the windows and my slider were open because they were not scheduled. I was on a conference call when I started to cough uncontrollably and began to wheezing. I was coughing so hard and hard to talk I had to excuse myself from the call. That is when it was brought to my attention that the A & S Extermination had just sprayed my deck. They should have not done knowing that the sliders and several windows were all open. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Consumer protection and the state of CT. read more

Al the owner is AMAZING as well as his staff, but AL can find ANYTHING, ANYWHERE in and or around your home! He is the bug whisperer! I actually just placed a call to them as I had a bizarre experience with baby ants coming out of an outlet in my bedroom. I am FREAKED out and immediately called A & S. Put in a 911. A&S Pest Control has been doing my daughters house for nuisance bugs for 2 years now. She also has a dog that goes in the yard so Al sprays & granules for ticks etc. her dog has been free from ticks etc for 2 Yrs now. I also had Al out to my house for Carpenter ants & Ticks because I take the dog to my house for visiting. Al also does the entire inside of your house.
