He was incredibly responsive to texts, and even called me to discuss the pictures of dead/alive ants I sent him and ask questions. When we determined that we needed to spray the perimeter (which he came back to do another time when it wasn't so damp out), he stayed in touch with me to learn about progress after the spray to make sure it was effective. He clearly loves his life's calling, and is a delight to work with. From now on, I will have him come every spring (and whenever I spot a yellow jacket's nest as well!)
