I booked a single service in advance but was put in a couple's room with a stranger because all the single rooms were booked. The masseuses held up towels for us to undress in the room together which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. 2. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When paying, I tried to leave a 10% tip, considering I had a less than ideal experience in the room. Do not come here. I came as a young female and had a combo body massage and head spa booked. During the body massage I had a man massaging me. I then heard a zipper unzip on his pants and was extremely uncomfortable the rest of the time. I realized after that his pants had zipper pockets and he was on his phone during the appointment. For the head spa, it was nothing like they advertised. He left me alone in the room for about 20 mins of the 45 min appointment and scrubbed so hard my scalp was bruised for days after. I'm so glad I came to try this new spa out after they opened their Instagram and are offering 20% off for first time customers. Booking through IG message was easy and convenient. They have parking and are also easily accessible off the 57 bus. The interior is new and just as pictured. There was a private bathroom and shower in my massage room. I chose the 60 min full body massage which was amazing because it included hot stones and hot towels. The temperature in the room was nice and warm. The masseuse was professional, asked multiple times if everything was good. The massage covered everything from head to toes and I felt like all the tension in my muscles was washed away, so it was definitely worth it, especially with the discount. They give you slippers to wear the minute you step inside, and a water when you leave. I was able to pay smoothly with card and tipped with cash. I wish I liked this place as much as the other reviews said. I would say it was barely okay, I would not go back again. So here are the cons: 1. We booked a couples massage but were separated into two rooms. If they don't have a room with two beds, it would have been nice to have given a heads up during the time of booking the appointment. 2. My message therapist did an okay job overall but my husband's was too harsh and continued to do so after requesting to lighten it a bit. My husband came home with bruises on his back. Perhaps it was a language barrier but the massage therapist should be asking if it's too hard. 3. One of the main dislikes that I had was that at no point was I asked the strength preference. At all other places (even if the therapist wasn't very good in English) still knew the words "too hard/soft" and "harder/softer". They would ask "Good?" throughout the sessions. 4. They only gave one very thin sheet to cover up and it was not a very warm room. At no point did the therapist ask if I was warm enough. I got a bit chilly towards the end. 5. The therapist went in and out of the room several times, which was fine, but the therapist did not close the door. There are other customers and employees walking around and I am undressed. There were a couple pros: 1. The hot stone and when they had a hot towel, that was great. I wish I felt that nice and comfortable the entire time. 2. There was parking in front. Perhaps we were unlucky and we got 2 therapists that weren't having a good day. I personally would not go back. They need to be better about the service. read more

A Very good Facial. I was looking for a facial like this for a very long time. I'm so glad I found it. The only thing that I'm not please with ... it's the TIP situation. It was a sign on the front desk said we should give more than 20-25%. When I paid for my facial, she hold the IPad in her hand, to be able to see how much TIP I gave. Then she said sorry we need more than 20%. It's very unprofessional, you should not make the customer pay what you want. I understand why they are doing that but they should not do that. Best MG Spa is the newest massage spa that's newly open near my work. I saw the grand opening promotion online that the first time client has 50% off. I think it's a really good deal so I went there and try out. And it's definitely 120% worth it while the price is only 50%. The Spa is located in Newton 268 Central St, but you actually do need to turn into William St right next to the Sunoco gas station and then turn in to the alley that led you to the Spa. they have free parking on the back and free WiFi while inside. The spa is clean and neat and elegant. The therapist was very professional that every muscle she massaged I feel them melted into the bed. If you speak mandarin she will tell you which of the muscle are tidiest and things to look out on daily life to avoid the muscle pain. I have problem on my back muscles so she especially put extra effort on them to makes sure my problem is solved. She even taught me a few tricks for me to massage the muscle when I sit for to long. BUTeven if you don't speak mandarin I'm sure you money is worth the service you got. In summary, 5 stars for the spa, 5 stars for the service, 4 stars for the location because the parking is hard to find, but 5 stars for its so close to my work location. The full body massage started with a towel covered hand massage and they literally mean FULL BODY - head to toe. Came here for the first time for a couples massage. 60min massages for the both of us plus I added a 30 min foot massage. The massage was great. I had a male masseuse and he was about to find all the knots in my back. But I do believe there was a language barrier because I told his some spots were hurting and he continued without speaking. My bf did not like his because they cut my bfs massage short by 15 min.. We started at 2 and his was done at 245. The reason 4 stars was because we tipped 20% which was $40 on a total of $200. The receptionist was asking for more of a tip and was saying we didn't tip 20%? Which I felt was unprofessional.
