This was my first head spa experience and it was fantastic! I booked the All-in-One Deluxe Head Spa and it was well worth it. My head feels entirely clear, mentally and physically (it cleared out my sinuses, who knew?!?). I definietely recommend it and will be booking again! read more

The workers were kind in general and I wanted to love this place but had a bad experience and would not return: 1. I booked a single service in advance but was put in a couple's room with a stranger because all the single rooms were booked. The masseuses held up towels for us to undress in the room together which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. 2. When paying, I tried to leave a 10% tip, considering I had a less than ideal experience in the room. The worker then had the audacity to ask me to reconsider and leave a 20% tip. Regardless of the quality of the service, asking a customer to tip more is unprofessional. read more

came here for my birthday. worth every penny! the body massage and head spa were so good.

Reasonably priced sessions. Clean space. The foot massage was very good. The head spa was pretty relaxing besides one movement that the worker kept repeating (it felt very aggressive kinda hurt my scalp). They have a sign up that says if you blow dry your own hair (vs having a worker do it) and leave a review here that you get $10 off. So I told the worker I could blow dry it myself and she said no lol read more

I received the classic head massage. It wasn't what I expected. I booked this with my daughter. We didn't start on time and did not get the people we originally booked online. The room was too cold and since I was wet, I was freezing!! There was a bright light shining in my face the entire time. The head massage wasn't very relaxing as the therapist wasn't as gentle as I expected for a head/scalp massage. The waterfall was used for less than a minute or two. The arms and legs stretch was less than 30 seconds per limb. We opted to get the $10 discount to not have our hair blow dried. Although this scalp massage is something i was looking forward to, I won't be back to MG Spa. read more

Service itself was good, however I will say they advertise 60 minute massage plus 20 minutes for cupping (at an up charge) and it was 60 minutes total. At checkout they told me I can't use my full gift card there. Which is very bizarre I've never experienced that ever before. Only could use $100 out of $150 and her response was "can use it next time you're back". Sounds like a way to get more money. Then when they tried to charge me the remainder they said $54 with cash or $79 with card. I handed them $60 with cash she hands me back $1 change. I said that isn't the correct change I need $4 back. She said no it was it was $59. I reminded her she said $54 and she finally gave me back the correct change. That exchange put a poor taste in my mouth. read more

If you're looking for a good massage DO NOT come here. The massage therapists do not understand how to massage your body and hurt my neck and bad instead. I'm in worse shape leaving then when I arrived. The MT chewed gum the whole time and left multiple times throughout my session. The MT was way too comfortable with pulling my underwear down and massaging my butt / "lower" back. It was uncomfortable the whole time. read more

Do not come here. I came as a young female and had a combo body massage and head spa booked. During the body massage I had a man massaging me. I then heard a zipper unzip on his pants and was extremely uncomfortable the rest of the time. I realized after that his pants had zipper pockets and he was on his phone during the appointment. For the head spa, it was nothing like they advertised. He left me alone in the room for about 20 mins of the 45 min appointment and scrubbed so hard my scalp was bruised for days after. Treated myself for my birthday and this ruined my day. read more

Such a wonderful experience! Parking was challenging (everywhere in Boston seems to be) but once you're inside it's so peaceful and the take such great care of you. My 90 minute session included an intense scalp treatment, a foot soak and massage, a mild facial, and they blew dry my hair. I will definitely go back when I'm in town read more

I went for a lymphatic drainage massage for sinusitis. This is probably one of the best facials I've had in my entire life. I have been spending significantly more at fancy spas. The location is not ideal for parking, but persevere! The service is well worth it and the staff is incredibly friendly. I will be going back! read more

very good massage and massuese. will be back again. love the layout and cleanliness of the place and its overall decor.

Not what I expected/hoped for. My mom and I came in to get the "classic detox head spa therapy" as we saw a woman review it on tik tok and what she got looked like a very relaxing experience. Unfortunately our experience was not the same. We had to wait a couple minutes to be seen. The room itself was cold which definitely affected the rest of the massage. The room was not dimmed like a normal massage, in fact a bright light was shining in my face the whole time. The therapist didn't have "gentle hands" as one would think. I was thinking to myself the entire time that this doesn't feel like a professional massage. Part of the session included a face mask and some sort of heat incubator that covered my head. I was feeling very claustrophobic to the point where I almost had to take it off. I couldn't relax during the 15 second foot massage and 30 second shoulder/arm rub. Another thing to note is that the shampoos and other products that they used had very strong herbal scents. We decided to opt in to the "$10 off for self blow dry & write a review" promo. As we were checking out realized that the people we originally booked (I booked the girl from the video) were not the people who did our massages. Overall, disappointed with the experience and unfortunately won't be coming back! read more

I just got a hydrating and firming facial. Ashley was wonderful! She made me look five-years younger. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend! read more

Best mg spa is the best to be honest, staff treats customers well and the services me and my partner received were good! One thing I will say is that when we hit there they were kinda busy and we had to wait around 30 minutes for our treatment, but that happens at a lot of places and the service made it worth the wait. Will definitely be coming back to try out other services that are offered. (I definitely recommend that they get more furniture for the lobby) read more

Had a great experience with Jessica. Got the full body massage and scalp treatment. Interior is nice and clean.

I did the body massage/scalp massage package. Sophie was so sweet and amazing at her job. I truly can't wait to come back here.

Great atmosphere, you get a lot for your money. Everyone is very nice! Even with the basic head spa you get a lot for your money!

I'm so glad I came to try this new spa out after they opened their Instagram and are offering 20% off for first time customers. Booking through IG message was easy and convenient. They have parking and are also easily accessible off the 57 bus. The interior is new and just as pictured. There was a private bathroom and shower in my massage room. I chose the 60 min full body massage which was amazing because it included hot stones and hot towels. The temperature in the room was nice and warm. The masseuse was professional, asked multiple times if everything was good. The massage covered everything from head to toes and I felt like all the tension in my muscles was washed away, so it was definitely worth it, especially with the discount. They give you slippers to wear the minute you step inside, and a water when you leave. I was able to pay smoothly with card and tipped with cash. Everything was so smooth and easy I would definitely come back. read more

I wish I liked this place as much as the other reviews said. I would say it was barely okay, I would not go back again. So here are the cons: 1. We booked a couples massage but were separated into two rooms. If they don't have a room with two beds, it would have been nice to have given a heads up during the time of booking the appointment. 2. My message therapist did an okay job overall but my husband's was too harsh and continued to do so after requesting to lighten it a bit. My husband came home with bruises on his back. Perhaps it was a language barrier but the massage therapist should be asking if it's too hard. 3. One of the main dislikes that I had was that at no point was I asked the strength preference. At all other places (even if the therapist wasn't very good in English) still knew the words "too hard/soft" and "harder/softer". They would ask "Good?" throughout the sessions. 4. They only gave one very thin sheet to cover up and it was not a very warm room. At no point did the therapist ask if I was warm enough. I got a bit chilly towards the end. 5. The therapist went in and out of the room several times, which was fine, but the therapist did not close the door. There are other customers and employees walking around and I am undressed. There were a couple pros: 1. The hot stone and when they had a hot towel, that was great. I wish I felt that nice and comfortable the entire time. 2. There was parking in front. Perhaps we were unlucky and we got 2 therapists that weren't having a good day. I personally would not go back. They need to be better about the service. read more

Very good service Clean and professional Very good attitude There is also a climbing parking space, which is very convenien

A Very good Facial. I was looking for a facial like this for a very long time. I'm so glad I found it. The only thing that I'm not please with ... it's the TIP situation. It was a sign on the front desk said we should give more than 20-25%. When I paid for my facial, she hold the IPad in her hand, to be able to see how much TIP I gave. Then she said sorry we need more than 20%. It's very unprofessional, you should not make the customer pay what you want. I understand why they are doing that but they should not do that. That's the reason I didn't get their membership. read more

Best MG Spa is the newest massage spa that's newly open near my work. I saw the grand opening promotion online that the first time client has 50% off. I think it's a really good deal so I went there and try out. And it's definitely 120% worth it while the price is only 50%. The Spa is located in Newton 268 Central St, but you actually do need to turn into William St right next to the Sunoco gas station and then turn in to the alley that led you to the Spa. they have free parking on the back and free WiFi while inside. The spa is clean and neat and elegant. The therapist was very professional that every muscle she massaged I feel them melted into the bed. If you speak mandarin she will tell you which of the muscle are tidiest and things to look out on daily life to avoid the muscle pain. I have problem on my back muscles so she especially put extra effort on them to makes sure my problem is solved. She even taught me a few tricks for me to massage the muscle when I sit for to long. BUTeven if you don't speak mandarin I'm sure you money is worth the service you got. In summary, 5 stars for the spa, 5 stars for the service, 4 stars for the location because the parking is hard to find, but 5 stars for its so close to my work location. Will definitely come back for regular muscle relax! read more

I came here for a couples full body massage with my significant other and we both loved the experience! It was our first time and we left feeling so refreshed! The full body massage started with a towel covered hand massage and they literally mean FULL BODY - head to toe. Moving on, they applied some lotion, hot essential oils and hot stone to relieve tension. We definitely felt a difference when we left. We felt like all stiffness were gone and our whole body felt relaxed. It was such an amazing massage and we will definitely be back! Location is very close to Newton Corner, highway exits and parking available. read more

Discovered this gem of a place - they give amazing massages and facial. I had the hydro facial and a foot massage.

Came here for the first time for a couples massage. 60min massages for the both of us plus I added a 30 min foot massage. The massage was great. I had a male masseuse and he was about to find all the knots in my back. But I do believe there was a language barrier because I told his some spots were hurting and he continued without speaking. My bf did not like his because they cut my bfs massage short by 15 min.. We started at 2 and his was done at 245. The reason 4 stars was because we tipped 20% which was $40 on a total of $200. The receptionist was asking for more of a tip and was saying we didn't tip 20%? Which I felt was unprofessional. Overall they were very nice and the place was clean but I don't think I will be coming back. read more

Very good spot deff recommend the Male that works there, for males. We did couples and it worked out perfect they gave us extra time also.

My husband and I went to this SPA for the first time. Very nice experience! I have been trying different massage therapist at other places but haven't found a good one so far for deep tissue. Jessie is great and she can spot my pain point very precisely and apply the right pressure. I felt very relieved with my shoulder and neck after the 1 hr session. If you are looking for a deep tissue massage or just want to have your body muscle relaxed, this is definitely the place to go. The place is also very clean. Highly recommended! read more
