Great Customer Service & Beautiful Outcome! Messaged multiple companies through Yelp to get a quote. I went with this company because they were one of the few in the Peninsula to have 3M Ceramic window tinting. I've been coming here since 2011!!!!! I brought my 4 door Integra back then and got the standard tints and they still look good till this day and it's 2024. Crazy right !!! I've brought my honda pilot, Mercedes Benz and my RX Lexus over the years and until this day I've had no issues. They do offer warranty on the basic tints, which I'm sorry I forgot the name, but it does the job and makes the look of the car more appealing and it's honestly good quality. I never had to go back and redo any of the tints I done on all my cars. If you really want the tints to block off the heat from the sun they have other options and various tint shades. They keep it simple and easy. Their turn around time is quick depending on how many windows you tint, but if you walk like 2 block pass the railroad tracks you got a lot of food places you can just go eat and wait for your car to be done! However carelessness led to a giant scratch on my driver side window (that was DEFINETELY not there prior) it's long with a curved tail end it's like they took a rock to the window in a cleaning stroke with a towel. I am not fully satisfied with my experience nor results. The girl who works the front desk is very cold and unpleasant, it turned me off. The price seems comparable but I was and still am extremely confused by all of the options due to the lack of explanation. It seemed simple when she explained it in person but when I looked around at all of the signs and prices, there seemed to be more than just 2 different tint options. Then when I picked up my car, there were large bubbles in several places especially along the edges which left the edge open for dust to enter. So I asked the tech to smooth out the edges that were exposed but I expected that type of thing would've been checked by them, not me, especially for the price we paid! So I took my car home because they said the rest of the bubbles would cure and go away over a few days but it didn't. So I had to take my car back the following week. They told me to come around 10 but I got there shortly after they opened hoping they could finish it faster but I was wrong. The front desk girl (same one) said 45 mins, I specifically told her that I needed both moon roofs replaced. It took them about an hour and a half (double the time) and they only replaced the front moon roof! I had to wait another 45 mins for them to replace the rear moon roof... Guess what, more large bubbles, especially along the edges. They said it would go away again, it's been 3 weeks now and there's a large dust strand that got into the edge and cured. I don't even want to go back again. I honestly would prefer a partial refund for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends. read more

The spot is a little hidden but once you make it there you see alot of people getting their car tinted. They are super helpful and friendly. I called a couple of times to get an estimate and the lady on the phone was super helpful. They were very accommodating. They offered me a time fairly quick that worked for me. I was estimated that two front windows would be done by 430. And surprisingly everything was done by 4:15pm. They have all the color percentage tints they offer. They have out on display which they offer 15,20,35,55 and 70% for 3m with a life time warranty. They offer another brand called Johnson with 2 years warranty. The lady in the front was super nice, she brought me outside to show me the difference in tints that were installed on cars already. So basically the lifetime warranty works is within 3 years free labor covering peeling, bubbling, and fading. But anything after 3 years you will have to pay labor which will be 50% on each window. I also asked what happens if you decide to change the like 35% to 20% you will need to pay labor to remove and reinstall the tint Love thay option read more

Nothing less than five stars for these guys. Frank and his team at Best Image are hands down amazing. Every time I go there with a personal vehicle or friends vehicle they always take care of us. This time they worked magic on my moms BMW X5. Initially was going to the 3M FX-Premier (I think I got the name right) but after talking to one of the employees he highly recommended the 3M ceramic film. It's a bit more in price but well worth it from what I've been hearing (I'll definitely update this review in the summer). I went with 35% in the front and 5% in the rear! Looks great and helps with security (hopefully). Overall, I'm 110% satisfied with Frank and his team at Best Image. I drove from the east bay to get my family's windows done. They all call me crazy but Best Image has earned my business over the years and I will keep going to them and recommending anyone as long as they're open! Oh and take it for what you will but Best Image has the best prices in the Bay Area for quality films. If you can't afford the "quality film(s)" there's a more affordable option that is also decent quality! Frank, the owner, who was more than happy to provide his name voluntarily when I mentioned I would be reviewing my experience rejected my business simply because I was asking about the warranty. There is a form they ask you to sign that outlines they are not responsible for imperfections and I wanted to get clarification for small bubbles that may be present after the curing. This review is not about the quality of the work, but the customer service, or lack thereof. Let me list the two issues here: 1. I brought my car in to get a 3M tint on the front windshield - I made that very clear with the lady at the front desk. Three hours later, I find that they instead put a Johnson tint. When I told the woman about this, she said that I told her that that's the brand I wanted. So your business blames the customer? I thought the customer is always right but I guess this chick doesn't get it. 2. Earlier today we came in to get a tint and got there early to be the first in line (as they do first come first serve on Saturdays as opposed to their appt setup on weekdays). When we got there, some dude came 15 mins after we did. This same lady who works there came right after and saw that we were first. When she opened the door, homeboy who came after us ran past us to get in first. And this same chick made him the first appt?! At other places the clerks will tell people that someone else was before them. The sad thing is that their quality of work is outstanding - no complaints there. However, customer service is the other part of the service industry. We will not be going back here and I'm already spreading the word to my partners looking to get their car tinted. read more
