I had the front two windows tinted with 3M Ceramic IR, and it was done in 1.5 hours. Quick, professional, and fair prices is what you can expect from Frank. Frank's memory, however, on the other hand is not so good. He didn't remember me or all the cars I've done or recommended to his shop. But that's ok, because that tells you Frank runs his operations fairly and without special treatment. Bring your car here and he will treat you equally well. I recently had to get some warranty work done on my ID.4 as the back window started "rippling" and distorting after only a couple of years, making rearview mirror images harder to see. Gena was able to get the work approved under warranty (it was an adhesive defect), made an appointment and brought the car in and the work was done in about an hour -- I can see clearly out the back window again. I took my car into MCAR two weeks ago and the experience was great. This was my first time ever…read morehaving a car's tint removed and re-tinted, and I started vetting vendors by opening a Project in Yelp. After a few qualifying chat conversations, MCAR ended up being my chosen vendor, and by the following Friday I was dropping off my Subaru BRZ on my lunch break. Danilo and his team checked me in, reviewed the scope of work with me, and had my car in their garage within 20 minutes. A few hours later it was ready, and I was really impressed by the workmanship. One thing worth noting: if your car has electrical sensors in the seats for airbag or seatbelt safety features, it's worth asking ahead of time how the shop handles that. Window tinting uses a lot of soap and water, and it's possible for your seats to get a little wet in the process. On my drive home, my BRZ's passenger seat must have picked up some moisture, because it started throwing a seatbelt warning alarm. I brought it back and Danilo and his team worked to triage the issue. To be safe, and to avoid running any more electrical current through it while it was still damp, he suggested buckling the seatbelt to stop the alarm and letting the seat fully dry before reassessing, with instructions to bring it back in if the sound returned. They handled the troubleshooting really well, and it just reinforced how much they care about getting things right for their customers.
