Took my 2021 Tesla Model Y to Rob for a full front PPF based off input from some Tesla forums. The full front package covers front bumper, fenders, entire hood and then door edges, side mirror caps, and rear bumper cap. The price was $1900 if you pay card! PPF is custom and not pre-cut. I had looked at other shops but read bad reviews in the Tesla forums such as places that had curled edges and such. Luckily I encountered this place and heard great things. Rob was super friendly and detailed in his work. You could tell he had a ton of experience under his belt and knew the industry and the cars. I scheduled an appointment with him and the earliest was two weeks out. I dropped my car off Friday at 9am and picked up Saturday at 4pm. As it was cold out, he recommended me come back in a week to make sure everything was perfect after the PPF had time to adhere/get used to everything. The touch up appointment was optional as he said 7/10 customers don't come back for it - shows how good he is. Rob was also nice enough to apply OEM side door PPF and touch up the paint (one paint chip) for me (all of which I provided to him). 4 months in after Rob installed a full body PPF on my 911 and I am happy to say the job performed by Rob was great. Although not perfect the first time around, Rob offered to redo the hood due to a couple of imperfection spots. And after the cleaned up, I was very happy with the result. There are a few things any potential customers may want to know beforehand: 1. Rob is a one man team, so it may take longer to finish the job 2. Cost is extremely reasonable when compared to other PPF installers (two others) 3. There is no precuts, huge plus for me 4. so Rob did finally reach out to me. I do want to make some clarification points. I tried calling/emailing/Yelp (mostly phone calls as he had been more responsive to that before) contacting Rob every week for probably 2 months after my original appointment in 2018. And I would never get a call back or any response. At some point you just give up and cut your losses. Then recently I was scrolling through Yelp and saw his shop pop up as i was looking to get the tint job done and tried reaching out again, and again no response. I started looking at pictures and noticed that other Tesla mirrors were completely fine so it did bug me and thus the 1 star post as it seemed that always caught Rob's attention. And yup - it did. And Rob did apologize profusely to me and did explain everything that was going on and offered me money (I didnt take it and neither should you - don't hurt small businesses who own up to their mistakes!) and more importantly to do as best he could to fix the mirrors. And fix them to the best he could he did. he was very responsive and made sure that I was happy and again apologized. He is right the rest of the job has held up very well. We all hit rough patches/technical issues whatever that cause things to go awry and I appreciate Rob following up but I can't give 5 stars since it is almost 3 years later now before i finally got through. I would suggest you look at the other reviews and notice that his follow through has been much better so take it for what its worth. I am very happy with the work he did on my Rivian. He is not the cheapest, and not the most expensive. I will say I am certainly not an expert here on PPF. Rob did a great job installing full front PPF on my Tesla model S. Months after the install a motorcycle lane splitting down the street knocked into my passenger side mirror knocking the mirror cover completely off. The PPF was scratched up but protected the mirror cover from paint damage. I took the car back to Rob and he replaced the mirror cover PPF free of charge. What a guy! Highly recommended. Rob is an artist. He does amazing work and stands behind it if there are any issues. Had him do two full wraps. Amazing work, all the more so because he doesn't remove body panels. After the two-week check-up was complete, the work was invisible unless you knew where to go looking for the hidden spots for seams/edges. There is a huge quality difference between someone like Rob that has the skill to use a single piece of film on a section of a car and a shop that uses pre-cuts for panels. I found out the hard way that some other shops that do pre-cuts will make promises about wrapping edges and better outcomes than bulk application. That was absolutely not my experience. Pre-cut applications, even by shops with great reviews, don't look as good and are more prone to problems like contamination because of the many edges they can't wrap and the seams were panels/PPF pre-cuts meet. With Rob, edges are wrapped, and the quality of the film and craftsmanship of the work are extraordinary. And his willingness to make adjustments is the mark of someone that really stands behind their work. He's also just a really nice guy and easy to work with. Highly, highly recommend. I wouldn't even think of taking my car anywhere else for PPF. read more

As numerous reviews can attest, Rob is a perfectionist and is passionate about his job. Many PPF outfits typically use multi-piece pre-cut films that show seams. They also don't wrap around the edges. Rob, on the other hand, does a custom one-piece job in most, if not all areas, AND wraps behind edges which a) makes PPF undetectable, b) prevents dust/grime from accumulating at the seams, and c) much more resilient against premature peeling from regular car wash. My car is a late model Focus RS. I had the frontend, headlights, side mirror housing, side rocker panels, and the hood fully wrapped. Because the front bumper is such a complex piece with many unusual curvatures, I expected the film to be done in multiple pieces. Not Rob though. He actually cut and laid down a single piece of film and did it perfectly. I am truly impressed with his craftsmanship. Because I love his work, I plan on going back and get the front fenders and the side of the rear bumpers (where dirt gets kicked up) done. No mud flaps for me. He uses Suntek's latest PPF Ultra which has a 10-yr warranty against bubbling, yellowing, and cracks that manifests from aging and/or weathering. Top quality stuff. He also encourages you to come back in couple of weeks for post install inspection. Make sure you take advantage of this as he will remove any air bubbles or areas that may have partially lifted off the paint (usually behind the edge of the sheet metal). This is normal as the lubrication behind the film evaporates that allows the film to set in. Any fluid that couldn't be squeegeed out typically leave a small pocket of air which Rob will eliminate. read more

I got a full PPF + ceramic tints on my 2022 M4 here and was thoroughly impressed with the work and service. The G82 M4 has a notoriously hard bumper to PPF (a lot odd angles that are hard to work with) and Rob did an immaculate job. He is an artist that takes great pride in his work and doesn't cut corners. When I came in for the PPF checkup, one of my rockers had gotten some chips from some debris, and Rob offered to redo the panel for free even though it was clearly not his fault that it was damaged. Not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said. Rob's work is exemplary! His attention to detail is unmatched. He has a passion for his work that shows in the results. I was referred to AutoProFilms for a tinit job on my Model S by a friend of mine whose life has been restoring classic cars for decades. When I called Rob I found he was booked out for about a month but that didn't dissuade me. It just reaffirms he does a great job and he gets lots of referrals because of it. He showed me the different levels of tint and explained the differences in light and infrared wavelength blocking capabilities. He kept my car for about a half day. When I picked it up, it was one of those moments where the results actually exceeded my expectations because of how fresh it made the car look!! Another thing is that when you open the doors on a Tesla, the windows automatically drop down about an eigth of an inch. He was aware of this and made sure that he ran the film completely to the top edge of each door window. I have seen other cheaper jobs where that wasn't done. While I was there Rob and I spoke about his other work and showed me some of his full body and front wrap bra jobs on a Porsche and a Mustang GT. Rob completed a Full Front Clear Bra PPF my STI couple of years ago except the headlights, so last week I decided to have Rob put on a Clear Film protection on my headlights, but as soon as he started it, he noticed that my headlights have some chemicals that's reacting to his solutions, which it should not happen, so he advised to have my headlights restored or at least remove the unknown substances. He doesn't want to just cover the lens that will be unacceptable to his standard, because he is just a perfectionist. I then had my headlights cleaned and contacted Rob, in spite of his busy schedule he was able to squeezed me in right away.
