Third time here, best Donuts I've had in a long time. If your checking this review out look no further. Don't hesitate just come. I've tried a few of their wide range of donuts and they have all been delicious. From their French Donuts to their Blueberry Donuts. They also have the tradition donuts (maple, regular glaze, chocolate, etc.). I highly recommend trying the blueberry, French, and bacon donut. Not the best donuts but they're pretty good. I went here with a couple of friends on a Sunday afternoon. The place looked pretty run down and not very clean. The lady at the front wasn't very nice and she seemed disinterested when we asked her what donuts were good. I was interested to see how their donuts tasted. They didn't have very much indoor seating and I feel as though they could've had outdoor seating as well, as the weather was beautiful. I ordered the original glazed donut as well as the maple glazed donut. They looked a bit dry so we asked the lady if they tasted better warm, and she assured as that they did. However, when she heated them up, she over-heated them making the donuts soggy. The original donut resembled Krispy Kreme's original donut. The maple glazed donut was also good but very sweet. I bought donuts here recently. I was unaware they charge you 55 cents to use your debit card to buy their (already) overpriced donuts. I would've been fine with this, except I was never told. I found this info out on my bank statement. There was a man without a mask on, who came into the donut shop. That bothered me because the shop itself has such a tiny interior. I stumbled across this Gem leaving the plaza and I'm so glad I made a stop. It was a few hours before they closed and they had a pretty good selection. When I say these donuts melt in your mouth they absolutely disappear. I am a classic donut person but I also love me a cheese pastry which I also got and then I went on the wild side and got a banana glaze, (that's the wild side) lol! for me. I had forgotten about this hidden gem. About 2 months ago the family and I were taking a road trip and we had to stop in the parking lot to adjust the car seat for our little one and they were open so we stopped in for some treats. The doughnuts are fluffy and light and super tasty. They have the usual sugar, sprinkles, maple, chocolate, but they also have a bacon and maple one that is to die for. They have apple fritters and cinnamon rolls. The usual drinks milk, juice, coffee, soda, and bottled water. They also have some great breakfast sandwiches. They are HUGE breakfast sandwiches. Service wise they are a mom and pop shop with excellent service. They are helpful and friendly. They do sell out pretty quick though so get there early. They are cash only. read more

One of the most accurately and inaccurate titles of a donut store ever. Yes, this place has the BEST donuts, but unfortunately, there's no ice cream at this location. Perhaps maybe at one time there was ice cream, but sadly, no longer available. Best Donuts and Giant Donuts (in Oakley) are hands down two of the best non-grocery places to purchase donuts. What I love about Best Donuts are their donut holes (they're huge! and they don't skimp on quantity!) and their apple fritters. The apple fritters here are the perfect treat for a day where you just want to spoil yourself. The coffee here goes quick and you can always spot the regulars in the morning. There's sparse seating inside and none outside, so if you want to get a spot, it's either come super early or come at a weird hour: like noon. I believe this place is family owned and really does have a great mom-and-pop family. They're very accommodating and helpful, but most importantly, patient! I known I've stared at the glass before deep in donut choosing thought and they've been very patient while awaiting my decision. Which is a perk, since most places hurry you. They have a great beverage selection if you don't want coffee and a lot of chocolate milk. :D The prices are also pretty cheap. They don't cut corners on how they make the donuts and they don't overprice you. So what more can you ask for? read more

I love this place, I got a dozen mixed doughnuts (their banana doughnut is the BEST!) and I got a dozen doughnut holes. Not to mention their croissant breakfast sandwich... Which I finished before I got home lol. It has deliciously cooked bacon, a wonderful buttery croissant with eggs/cheese and sausage links inside! To think I got all of this for my family's Sunday treat for less than $20 was a steal. Definitely happy with this place, the woman was nice and everything we bought was fresh and warm. Exactly what you want on a football Sunday morning. Kudos!! One more thing I had to add to my review - THE DOUGHNUTS ARE SO LIGHT AND AIRY AND FULL OF FLAVOR! This an update, this place used to be a solid 3 star donut place. I have noticed that this place has been going downhill in the last 6 months. I'm not sure what is going on, but their selection stinks. I went at 715am on a Saturday and they didn't have any French Crullers, said they were out. I went by a few weekends after and around 8am they were down to just glazed regular donuts, and a few odds and ends. No old fashions, no jelly donuts, none of the staples. I don't know what is going on here, but I'm looking for another donut shop in the area to get my sugar fix from. read more
