    I usually don't go to Best Buy, but I wanted to ask a question about an iPhone. Mistake I made coming in here. I noticed employees hanging around chatting. No one asked if you needed assistance, so I walked around at first went to counter to ask about an IPhone I have. The employee I asked for help was coming from a different section of the store and showed me where to go. There was only one person at the cell phone displays 2 people where already waiting, and she acted like she didn't want to be bothered. So I just left.

    I have been asked to announce the death of Samsung Galaxy J7. She was the daughter of Freeyah (Freedom). Dec 10th 2017-Jan 9th 2018 You gave me joy. Sleep well. Eulogy: I wanted to purchase a Galaxy S8. In my research I came across the J model, same great features with a lesser price tag. Much less. Nice! After careful research I was sold, this is the phone for me. The models I saw on Amazon came with a 32GB but I purchased my baby at this Best Buy from a Samsung rep and theirs only carried 16GB. I was offered their geek squad insurance but I declined because I felt it was too expensive. I spent many wonderful hours with my J7, yelping, IG-ing, snapping fun vids and pics, I was in love. Fast forward a few weeks and my J7 stops receiving data signal, even blocking me from receiving and making calls/texts. On my phone screen where the data coverage sign used to be was, an ominous circle with a cross going through it. I was still able to log on to the 'net via WiFi. I called my service provider and they informed me all their towers were up and working fine. They instructed me to check that my sim card was still properly inserted as shifting could have caused my issue. I was guided via phone how to remove my sim card. I noticed the phone looked used/abused on the inside and this caused some alarm. I made a mental note. Reinserted sim but my issue continued. The rep suggested I purchase a new sim card as mine may have been damaged. I didn't buy a new sim card that time but I took my phone back to Best Buy. I saw the guy who assisted me when I bought the phone and I asked him if they sell refurbished phones and if so shouldn't customers be informed. My gorsh, twas like I had cursed his mama, he informed me that they don't sell refurbished phones! (Gotdarnnit woman! Are you mad!? His face asked). Cool. He sent me to Khadija in Samsung. She did all she could but my phone still wouldn't work. She removed my sim card and installed one of their test cards annnnd my phone worked AT THAT TIME! She said all I needed was a new sim card. I thanked her profusely. That same night I purchased a new sim at T-Mobile. When it was installed at the shop, my baby WASN'T WORKING. T-Mobile Joe told me he's been seeing this same issue with many unlocked phone since their latest update. I returned to Best Buy the following day and went straight to Khadija. She put me in touch with another Samsung rep. This lady appeared to be a more senior member of staff and she started clicking buttons around. I thought surely, SHE'S gonna be the MVP! She ran similar checks to Khadija's to no avail. At this point I'm starting to wonder if she was just clutching at straws. She she then said to me "your sim tray is damaged, you damaged your sim tray". I replied i'm not a techy and do not usually open phones, however I DID open this one with instructions and yes in my ignorance I may have damaged my sim tray BUT I ONLY opened the tray AFTER MY PHONE STOPPED WORKING, there existed an issue with my sim or tray or whatever prior. She went to a Best Buy rep and on her return she asked, "you didn't get geek insurance did you?". Negative. She said "well there's nothing we could do. If you had insurance we could help but you don't and paying to fix this will cost more than you paid for your phone". I was devastated. I told her my baby wasn't even a month old. I asked, almost in tears (yeah I'm emotional) "so there's nothing you can do to help me?". Her smug arse (excuse my Trini-French) replied "nope, call Samsung if you want" and she turned and walked away. I was dismissed. I packed my dead child-phone and left. Okay, maybe there was nothing you could do but it's your dismissive, condescending attitude that rubbed salt into my wound Ms. Here's some things you could have done; You could have AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF SAMSUNG, offered to call and even send the phone off to YOUR company for me. You could have offered me the opportunity to purchase some sort of late insurance as I was still in the limits of your stupid "holiday return policy". You could have done little, yet just enough, anything to make me feel you still valued my dollar. I own up to any wrongdoing on my part in this whole mess. You just won't willing to work with me at all at all. That ish hurt. Thank you Kahdijah, I know you tried. Though you too were unable to help, your service and letting me down was so kind, so professional. I have always received impeccable service at this branch I'm realizing it's from the Best Buy employees themselves. I called Samsung and because my warranty is valid until February 2019, they offered me proper satisfaction with no trouble. This review is on that Samsung rep at Best Buy. The End.

    Update on my prior review. Walter called and texted me and stated he would refund my service charge…read moreof 92 dollars on Monday......that never happened. Also regarding his response to my prior review, he never offered to come over to get the part number after the model number could not be read. He was about to order the wrong part which cost 100 dollars more. Also stating that i had to give him an answer so he can secure the part from his supplier which would take a few days to get. How does this story end. I ordered the part from an online authorized dealer $173. Part was delivered Monday. Eight screws later and my oven is back up and running. He was in a rush according to my wife. Was on the phone with another customer telling hum he would be right over. If he just would have taken a few minutes to remove the cover the part number was right there (see photo). 92 bucks for absolutely nothing, 10 minutes time. This is also the reason he does not take credit cards. The check was deposited, I'm sure right from his car that night.

He initially told me that the service fee will come off the total price, that was a lie. Please be careful using this company, at first they promise you the world but in the end they lie. Be careful and do our homework

    I would not go to this Best Buy they are thief's. I took my lest than one year laptop into for…read morerepair because it would not turn on. They told me they would let me know if they would be able to fix it or they my not. I had bought the extended warranty in which they said is the best and you would not have any problems if something happens to it. When I bought the computer they also sold me a Samsung 980 pro 2TB internal Gaming SSD PCle in which they said this make sure your computer run faster. I did and bought a warranty for this also and they installed it in the computer. After waiting a month they said they would not be able to fix the computer and they would give me the money for a new one. I told them okay and went into the store to pick out a new computer. I also asked them for my Samsung 980 pro 2TB internal Gaming SSD PCle so it could be installed in the new computer. They said we have to call the repair shop and give us a week. I have also emailed Brian Hundt the manager about this and they said they would get back to me. Not to go back and forth but a month later they said they cannot find my Samsung 980 pro 2TB internal Gaming. I only asked for them to replace what they lost or stole because a new Samsung 980 pro 2TB internal Gaming is double for what I paid for. I feel they stole my 2TB and trying to make me pay more money to get another one so I could put in my new computer.
