The online pickup experience we have had has been nothing short of a hot mess this round. We placed an order before Thanksgiving, thinking we could pick most of the order up shortly after Black Friday. Well, I should have known better than that. Of the 3 items we ordered, we picked up one thing around Black Friday(an item for my husband's computer), with that was supposed to be the other item for his computer, but with the insanity of the rush, apparently the other item was not ready, so he had to go in and see what the hold up was. He found out and had to change that item to delivery to our home. Now we are in the parking lot waiting for our last item to be ready for pick up, because, when we went to check and see if it was ready after we pulled in, the cashier looked it up, and said they would send an email when it was ready, even though it has been in the prepared stage since we ordered it. Best Buy store in Tulsa Hills is awesome! Best Buy Credit Card from Citibank is the worst credit card company ever! Citibank in St Louis, Mo is hidden within various names such as Citigroup, address for payments are show as physically to Commercial Bank. It took 3 months to resolve completely. My husband bought a computer with his new best buy credit card from Citi Bank in St. Louis, Mo. After 30 days......They did not post his payment, so my bank put a stop payment on it, and he sent another payment successfully. 60 days later they posted his stop payment to my (not his) zero balance credit card, then reversed it, billing me for that payment amount With a late fee. His card was now zero balance as paid. Alice in customer service said that I had to pay it or talk to her supervisor, as she was not authorize. Pam the manager at Citibank was snarky and said that I would have to pay the $2k money because of the stop payment, even though there was clearly no purchase Documentation On the card. She said that I must call in with my husband to consider the whole Case. Due to him being at the hospital; I asked her to just look at his account to see, and she said she can't. Once again we both together called Citibank. Elonzo(?) said that the previous supervisor was writing the credit now. Many calls, & Two supervisors from Citibank later, my account was finally brought back to zero, and we both cancelled our BB credit cards. They would not talk to me about it because they said it was his card, not mine, but they posted a collection to mine. We both had to call in together, during the day; when we both work. What a pain to have my husband come back from his cancer treatments to have to do this again & again. His authorization for me to talk on his behalf was only accepted as a one time thing each time. They said once canceled then can't re-open. Why would we want this grief? I definitely would recommend Best Buy in Tulsa Hills! Best Buy in south Tulsa (71st) sold me a damaged TV. When I immediately returned it they instantly (and incorrectly) told me I broke it myself. They offered no refund or replacement and stuck me with a broken tv for which I paid hundreds of dollars. What a terrible experience. I still can't believe it. Went in to get a new portable Bose sound bar and was easily distracted by the walls of TVs so it took me a bit to re focus and get my mind on track. I did end up choosing one but I was more upset when I went to checkout and discovered that I couldn't use my Best Buy rewards money I had saved up because the Bose system didn't fall under the guidelines that's required. If I could give Best Buy zero stars, I would. I've financed through them several times over the last few years and paid off two laptops using the Best Buy credit card. Unfortunately, that resulted in me getting scammed / burned by their business. The credit card was paid off and should have been closed when they charged the card $200 six months later. The charge was for their Geek squad service renewal, that I never used, did not authorize, and did not want. I never received a notification they were going to charge the card. I found out about the balance months later after they charged a few hundred dollars in late fees. I tried to resolve this with customer service and after talking to 10+ people, and two 45 minute phone calls, they refused to refund the amount at all because I was outside of the "60 day window". No one was empathetic or willing to help me at all. Now I'm left with a charge on the card I never authorized and have to pay over $200 of my own money to fix. Not to mention my credit score has taken a hit due to this. I was a loyal customer but will never do business with them again. If you have any kind of financing through them.. beware. I have never had a problem with Best Buy until my last computer purchase. I bought a Dell desktop computer after it being referred to me buy a member of the sales staff. I looked it over, I liked the features that I could observe. I.e. Cd/dvd tray and plug ins. I purchased and was informed it had to be shipped. After only a couple of days it, it came in and the old files off old computer were transferred to new computer. I brought it home and after a couple of days, I decided to listen to a cd. I attempted to open the tray, and not only could I not open, but couldn't find how to open, even after contacting store employees. I made an appointmen, brought computer in to geek squad and needless to say, no cd/dvd drive had been installed. I ended up having to purchase an external CD drive for $100.00 which I thought was unfair. I bought a computer thinking it had one, only to find out it didnt. I called and had to listen to this long message and then when I was finally able to select a department it transferred me to listen to another long message discouraging your from calling and only using their website. Last time I was there, a young man whose name I think was Smoke, didn't just tell me where things were, he accompanied me to the area and showed me the specific item I requested and told me the pro and cons of each similar item. Then he took me to the next item on my list. He was marvelous! The only reason I'm giving BB a 4 instead of a 5 is that often I'm not so lucky and I have trouble getting anyone's attention, and when I do, they usually just tell me ether area the item is in and I have to hunt for it. But I've had several extremely helpful associates like Smoke in recent times. I'm also annoyed that they used the few handicapped slots they have (I doubt they were ADA compliant in the first place), and converted them into parking places for picking up items ordered in advance so that an employee brings out the purchases. Having such parking places is a great idea but not at the expense of the few handicapped spaces they had. read more

Went in for a replacement computer charger and a wireless doorbell. There seemed to be many employees, but no one checked on us. Had to track people down. No computer charger fit. They still carry the exact model for sale in the same store where initial purchase was made. Again, nada, not even in the 3 multi-tip charger packs. No better luck for a doorbell either. Bought an open box Samsung soundbar today. Ronnie, the sales associate checked to make sure everything was in the box. I was told it was complete. Got home and unpacked the box to discover the battery for the remote and one of the two power supplies were missing. I packed it all up and took it back to the store. Returned the item and then went back to see what else might be available. I ran into to Ronnie and told him what had happened. He went to the return desk and checked the box and agreed the parts were missing. Ronnie then agreed to sell me a "new" soundbar, identical to what I returned for the same price I had paid for the open box. My last visit to Best Buy was specifically for the Samsung cross promotion with 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1'. They were exclusively showing the official trailer for the movie on their Galaxy Tab S a few days before it was released online - in exchange for watching the trailer you got a free ticket to the movie in November, and a Mockingjay pin. I couldn't resist, I am a huge Hunger Games nerd. I walked in and there was no signage for the event. The same event was happening simultaneously in San Diego at Comic Con, and the promotion they had for their event was obviously huge. I double checked the Samsung event website to make sure this Best Buy was participating and it was listed. I was there an hour after opening and there was 2 customers in the "Samsung Experience" area. They had the Mockingjay logo on the tv in the area, and a few table top signs, but that was it. I stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge me (there were 3 workers) and it took about 3 minutes for someone to ask me if I needed help. I told him I was there for the Mockingjay trailer and he said that another worker would help me with the trailer, and gave me 2 pins (one for me, one for hubby) and a poster. I was led over to a station set up with the Galaxy Tab S and some cushy headphones. I watched the trailer and received my movie ticket. The worker that showed me the trailer talked Hunger Games with me for a few minutes (so glad one of them was excited about the movie) then I was on my way. There was no one waiting in the area when I left. I checked out a few other areas on my way out, just to look around. The store was tidy and well kept, but all of the racks and areas being so close together made the store feel smaller. And this is a big store!! I've been in this location for computer related items, and it's hit or miss on if the worker will know what you're talking about. Overall the workers were friendly and the store was clean, but they need to work on their cross promotions/event signage. I'm sure 9 out of 10 customers didn't have a clue anything special was going on. read more

Magnolia Customers beware !!!!!! after talking with 3 employees at Best Buy today i ended up in the Prestigious Magnolia section where I found several employees hanging in a back room having fun. One Cam out and I asked for help. Do you guys sell extension Cable or a wireless VR camera for a PS4 because my wife has me moving the TV above the fire place. The employee quickly responded use a USB cabl. I then attempted several times to inform the employee that a USB cable would not work because the connector is proprietary to the play station. After going back and fourth the employee became dismissive and I could tell wanted to go back and hang out in the back office. I then asked for either someone more knowledgeable or a manager. He then informed me that he had been there several years and always just solved the issue with a USB cable. I informed him that's impossible and he had to be lying. He was being dismissive and really wanted me to just leave. I then offered him $1,000 to show me this USB cable that would work. Frustrated I went to the front of the store and saw the geek squad where I actually got some sort of help. Afterwards I returned to the Prestigious Magnolia section and again found half a dozen or more employees hanging in the back. I asked if he'd found me that usb cable yet. He replied he didn't bother. I then informed him I'd of been pissed had I bought that usb cable drove home and it not work. Another employee stood up and approached me to defuse the situation and knowing I was upset I asked him to teach his employees this products they sell. pretty sad day when this Prestigious section of burst buy can't bother to help a grandfather hook up a PS4 for the grandkids. Bought a new washing machine at a local appliance store Sunday afternoon, but they could not deliver until the following Friday. NOT good, :-( Best Buy had the same machine and could deliver on Wednesday! Yea! :-) I canceled my order at the original store and went fully with Best Buy. They too will deliver, install & will haul away the old! They matched the sale price i had just paid at the neighboring store. Excellent customer service. I needed a new garbage disposal too. The other appliance store sold disposals, but did not install. i can do a lot of things, but replacing a disposal is not in my bag of tricks! Problem was, all my files and the new Microsoft programs needed to be installed on my new Dell. Needed an old receipt for a warranty on something and the cashiers were friendly and prompt. They provided mask and even clear visors for those who couldn't wear masks. Horrible service! I was moving into a new home my stuff was not ordered in a timely manner. Frank Freer 3 was not empathetic about going on vacation and not ordering my things. I had to wait two weeks to have my fridge delivered After my move in date. My appointment for installation by geek squad was then put off two more weeks. On the day of installation was supposed to be scheduled Best Buy called at 11 AM and canceled my appointment due to items not being available. They refused to come out and set up the items that were available they stated the computer erased the appointment and there was nothing they could do. Horrible customer service a waste of my money to pay for geek squad and very nonchalant non-empathetic attitude from Frank Freer 3 and management at Best Buy. They then had the nerve to blame it on COVID-19 which is BS because I already had the appointment scheduled. They now stated I had to wait two more weeks to have everything installed. Worst customer service I've ever encountered. And they delivered a damaged refrigerator stated they had no one to fix it And I could wait another two weeks or they can order the part and I could fix it myself. I've always made it a ritual to do weekly runs to Best Buy.... It's just something I enjoy. This Best Buy isn't the greatest, but it's the closest to my house, and it's better than its competitors. The main issue with this location is just that...it's location is horrible. Sure it's a high-traffic spot, but it's nearly impossible to get there without sitting in traffic, the worst of which is right by the store. 71st and 169 is about the worst place to be in town unless you've got time to kill. The quickest entrance is to hope the exit off 169 isn't blocked, and you can straight shot around directly into the parking lot. That said, the store is set far back off the main street, and you have to make a bunch of turns and a couple of stop signs to get back to the parking. It's like they planned for some expansion of other stores that never materialized. I don't think the lot is ever full..... Inside, the store is what you'd expect from Best Buy. I haven't had any bad experiences that I can remember here, and that's good. Returning at any Best Buy or electronics store is a pain.... The associates are friendly when you need them, and they don't continually pester you and ask if you need help 10 times....Typically I'm in and out, just because I'm checking out the latest DVDs or something, so I don't know about their service when it comes to buying larger items. Again, the main problem I have is just that it's just such a long trip to get there for being so close to home, I hardly make it in there anymore. Target and Amazon.com have substituted for now...though I'm always on the lookout in the Sunday ads for good deals on TVs and large items. And this location is 10X better than the other Tulsa location...and that's saying a lot, considering this one isn't the greatest location either. read more
