We bought a custom computer from Wholesale computers. Unfortunately the price was not wholesale. Computer parts have skyrocketed so I cannot in good conscience complain. The manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. She guided our choices without insulting our intelligence or choices. I recommend this store if you want to invest in a real computer tailored to your needs and desires. They make off the shelf computers an inferior choice. read more

I've used WCS for parts and service several times with good results. There are cheaper places for labor, but they "cut corners", and cheaper used parts LOOK OUT! Many last minutes as they haven't been tested. WCS is very competitive with internet pricing on most new items. Some memory sticks, CPU's and power supplies and cooling devices will be cheaper on-line, if you're like me and search for close-outs, discontinued models or "last years" models, but that's where the 'net dealers and their mega-inventories have the edge. Rude customer service. Called in to the broken arrow location to ask some questions and was treated like it was such a burden to answer. Zero help for the community and will only help if you are buying something from them at the time because I've been a customer here for years and bought from them a few times and even had an old computer worked on. Won't return and hope youtube tutorials put them out of business. read more

I needed some upgrades and swap parts between two computers. I had expected it to take a couple of weeks based on another computer repair facility in Owasso. I got a call within 24 hours that both PCs were ready to be picked up. The Manager was so helpful with my upgrades. She made it really easy to do business with them. I had done business with this store in the past and had been happy with the results then. I'll never take my PCs to another facility. These people are true professionals. Very helpful, super nice, and stayed in touch through the entire process of trying to get my computer repaired. Even though they were unable to repair it, they didn't charge me extra money other than the deposit, and were able to find me an affordable replacement laptop that has been amazing so far! Recently built a machine and after replacing a cooler, couldn't get my rig to boot or even power on. After trying about a million things and finally conceding defeat, decided it was time to find a shop with a test bench where they could more easily figure out what was wrong. I'm not the type who expects same day service (especially given that my problem potentially required the need for disassembly and diagnostics), but WCS's labor deposit was pretty much on par with every other shop I called, and their turnaround was somewhat shorter. So, decided to take my PC there. A word up front about their pricing - they require a $45 deposit for their labor, which includes disassembly, diagnostics and reassembly. That money is deducted, however, from the cost of any parts they might use in their repairs. So, basically, you're getting the evaluation for free should your computer need new hardware. Regarding the rest of my WCS experience - you could tell that everyone in the shop is very knowledgeable about PCs. I've built a few machines so while not a computer building whiz by any means, know enough to tell when someone understands what they're talking about. I was told by that their workload probably equated to a three business day turnaround, which was fine. Still much shorter than pretty much all the other shops I talked to. Imagine my surprise then when they called just a couple hours later telling me my PC was repaired and ready to pick up that same day. Of course your mileage may vary based on their workload and the complexity of your repair, but I'm more than impressed with how quickly they got mine taken care of. On the repair itself, I had apparently bent a CPU pin at some point and just couldn't see it in my own when I was trying to figure the problem out. WCS could have very easily told me it was fried and sold me a new one and I would have never been the wiser, but their technician was able to straighten the pins, re-seat it correctly, and send my PC on its way. So even though my $45 wasn't "refunded" to me by way of parts or hardware, I'm happy to have paid that for their service which was, in my opinion, excellent. read more

I went to Wholesale Computer Supply a few days ago, but before I did, I called and asked about what kinds of computer keyboards were available for purchase at the location. The man there said there were "All kinds". Well, to my disappointment, there were only three different computer keyboards to choose from. Fortunately, they just happened to have one that was satisfactory for what I was wanting. The reason I am posting a poor review rating for this store is because I happened to get zero hours of sleep the night before I went there, but I needed a keyboard urgently for my new data entry and CSP job. The woman there was somewhat rude, but I did not judge her for that. She might have just been having a bad day. I am very pleased with the quality of my keyboard and I will hand it to the woman that she knew a lot about the product. I was surprised she did not tell me about the higher quality keyboard I ended up purchasing, because she suggested the lower quality one. I ended up having to ask her if she had any that were from a higher tier in quality. The main reason I did not give this experience a 4 star review is because I noticed, after the sale, that my receipt showed that she tendered a 100 dollar bill when my total was 141 dollars and some-odd cents. I gave her two 100 dollar bills, and the change she gave me was 41 dollars of some coins. She merely entered that I tendered 100 dollars so she could balance her drawer by giving me the difference as though I payed the exact amount. I am pretty sharp, but I was running on zero hours of sleep and therefore not at my best. I would have said that she made a mistake, but this was deliberate. She had to deliberately enter that I tendered 100 dollars and give me the difference for this to work. I am posting this on 8/1/2021. I urge the store owner to deal appropriately with this dishonest merchant. The reason I did not give a 1 star rating is because it is not necessarily the store owner's fault that he or she has a crook for an employee. read more

Do not do business with these people. The techs are rude and will do everything they can to be elitist about your property. They will delete anything you have on your machine without even asking you if you would like it saved. If you need a computer repair do your best to find someone else. My experience was I took a computer in that I had for many years with an operating system that was out of date. I asked them to update the operating system and they agreed without ever asking me whether I wanted my data saved, then proceeded to delete every single thing on my system except for the new operating system they installed. When I asked whether they could recover my information they said no one ever told them to save the data on the computer. When I spoke to someone at their other location, this person told me that typically they do not delete peoples data, when it is not discussed,they save it on a server in case the customer does, in fact, want their data. Consequently I spoke to someone at the Tulsa location he proceeded to act like a child throwing a tantrum and use profanity. Poor practice at this establishment and I do not recommend it, conversely I recommend that you do not do business with them and do everything you can and everyone can do to make them go completely out of business because they do not deserve to earn money in Tulsa or anywhere. read more

Nice people and we're helpful but by far the most overpriced store I've ever been in. They also don't take returns. I'd order off amazon.
