I bought a washer and dryer from Conns in Tulsa Ok on July 31,2023 I also bought the extended warranty mind you it has not even been a year and my washer and dryer is completely paid for. In June of 24 my dryer stopped getting hot and drying my clothes I called the store and they said the soonest they could get a repair man out to my house was July 19. I said that is unacceptable that would put me without a dryer for over a month. They finally said someone would be there on July 5th Service man came could not find out what was wrong with it so he said he was ordering 3 parts didn't know which part it was but was going to order all 3 and would be back on the 12th. 2 of those parts was delivered 2 days later so on the 11th i get a call saying the 3rd part still has not come in and now it will be the 19th before he will be back. So one the 18th I get a call that the part is on back order and they have no idea when it will be in so I still do not have a dryer. I have called every number i can find. These are the rudest people i have ever delt with no one will even try to help me mind you if i owed a payment they would not wait a month for that. I still have a factory warranty until the 31 of July and the extended warranty is good until 2027. I ask can the repair man come and install the 2 parts that are in and see if that will fix it if not he can come back with the other part. Oh no that cant happen we have to wait on the 3rd part this has been a nightmare I paid over 4000 for this set and it is useless until they can get around to fixing it. I promise you i will never step foot back in that store and will tell everyone i know to never by form Conns they are rude and very unprofessional and do not give a shit about their customers all the say is i understand the hell you do i have 5 people in my house and a non working brand new 2000 dryer. I was supposed to have a bed and mattress delivered yesterday. Well the driver cancelled it because the new staff couldn't find the bed. Then they found it but couldn't call the delivery driver back. Wow, my experience has been horrible. The salesman who sold me the refrigerator didn't mention I needed tubing for water/ice, so they couldn't hook it up. Added a washer & dryer to my order (before it was delivered) so I didn't have to pay a second $149 delivery charge, they assured me it was no problem. The zip code on the delivery confirmation was incorrect- when I called (3 times) to correct it they assured me it a computer glitch, no problem. The driver was probably 10 miles from my house when he called for directions. The washer & dryer weren't in the truck (no one told me they were out of stock). Another call to fix the issue. When I called to make sure it would be delivered tomorrow (as promised) 30 minutes later they said a manager would call back. I never got the text telling me when they were coming so I called and they tell me it was in stock when I purchased it but they no longer have it but will have more in the 18 and will delivery today the 19. If they mess up. They will do nothing to make up for it. Also you cant trust their price signs. For example: The couch we wanted had power features, but the version that was on the price sign was the base model. The sign did not distinguish this to the point that that sales person rung up the version listed on the sign. When the wrong couch was delivered a week later I sent the delivery guys back with it and went up to the store to get the right one. They no longer had the one I actually wanted in stock and it would be two weeks before they got another in. They also would not give the one they had on their sales floor. There is a decent selection of home furnishings here, depending on what you are looking for. However, after 4 and a half hours of being strung along by an incompetent salesman it's safe to say shopping here was a nightmare. There are promotion rates they offer for no interest financing which we were planning on taking advantage of, and we made it very clear what we wanted. After selecting everything we wanted to buy and thought we were almost done with the paperwork, the salesman gives us a contract to sign that shows 28% interest and the promotion rate had gone from 36 months no interest to 12 months no interest. Luckily we are the type of people who read something before we sign it. When we confronted the salesman and his manager about the discrepancy they just mumbled and gave us the run around so we left. After this experience, it might take me a few weeks to recover before I can handle another furniture shopping excursion. I've never seen such a poorly run store. They didn't have any of the items we wanted to buy in stock. It was going to be two weeks before we could even get the furniture delivered and enjoy it. I also have strong feelings about at least being offered a water or cup of cheap coffee if I am going to have to spend more than 2 hours shopping for 2 items. We were offered nothing which I think is frankly rude; there wasn't even a vending machine! It didn't take us half this long to buy a brand new car which was a lot more money than we were planning to spend at Conn's. Their name sums it up. Don't bother coming here. Had a great time buying my furniture from here. But after it was paid for is when the problems began. Wasn't delivered as scheduled. It took about 1 week to get delivered. Recliner on my love seat was broken upon delivery. Have tried for 2 1/2 months to get a new piece. Managers supposed to call me back. Still have not received a call. If my payment is one day late, they will call and threaten you saying they are planning to come pick up the furniture. This was an absolute terrible experience. We ordered a couch, loveseat, chair, and other furniture to the tune of over $3,500. They delivered the furniture and we did not notice the damage until after they left. They refused to replace the damaged furniture and insisted that they would repair the damage. After many, many phone calls and emails, the damage has not been fixed. It has been over six months and now we consider it a lost cause. Fast forward from 7/20 to 11/9/20, we go in to pay off the washer and dryer and purchase the pedestals. The employee takes me over to the cashier pod where all of the workers are standing huddled around this desk and tries to explain that I brought the washer and dryer from Conn's and was back for the pedestals. Austin (I believe is the black guy with the horrible attitude he has a black shirt not red like the others) immediately says no we won't put the pedestals in if they aren't brought at the same time and then picks up the phone. No explanation or anything. He didn't ask any clarifying questions and didn't even look back up. He is the same guy that assured me I could come back and get them at a later time, the same guy that process my order for the washer and dryer. I called the Dallas location. Apparently, from several team members, this is incorrect information especially since it is purchased from the same place. My new motto: Always read the reviews before doing business with any company. Bought furniture that was on sale in their ad, went in to purchase it- wasn't in stock. Waited over two weeks for our new couch and chase set, had it all wrapped in plastic- set it up, made it look and feel like new. Moved it to another position, noticed patchwork near the bottom on one of the pieces- which were priced at over $500 each, mind you. Of course they won't give the customer any real opportunity to actually inspect the furniture. If only we knew we needed a flashlight and to crawl on the floor and REALLY inspect the furniture, we would've done so. These crooks don't care about your satisfaction, all they care about is making a sale. They'll tell you anything to get it all hooked up, even that you can "cancel your order at any time if you end up changing your mind for a 15% restocking fee." It's only actually true on certain electronics and not furniture. I'm just glad I didn't get the washer/dryer set I really wanted on this purchase. Now that I have read these reviews and seen for myself that this business is sneaky, shady and thrives on ripping off their customers. I will let everyone know on social media as well as anyone I know who is looking to buy furniture or appliances, not to ever shop here. I heard that Videon in Tulsa knows how to treat their customers as something other than an account number. I've also done business with Snow's and Mathis Brother's in the past, and never had any issues on the quality, delivery, sales or billing. I never had to complain to any other furniture store except this one. I hope that everyone checks the BBB website as well as the Attorney General's office for complaints as other sources. I will never get anything from Conns again. I bought a washer and dryer no problem. So I thought I would a bedroom set. I bought a floor model so I am aware that there will be scratches and such, but I had no idea that when you do this the installation will be only half done. I called the manager and he just kept saying you bought a floor model constantly interrupted me while I was speaking. I went to the location to show him pictures of the missing part on my bed frame and still he would constantly interrupted me and kept saying you bought a floor model. I tried calling customer service and same. Basically they did not care. I have been paying for this set for a few months now. So the other day I got a letter in the mail that said my monthly payment was going down due to me having insurance. Okay so I got one these letters months ago because I have renters insurance. And my payment went from 212.00 a month to 179.00. So I was surprised when I got a letter again only this one says my payment is going down due to this again. But it stated my payment is going to be 206.00 so last I check that is up not down. We have had furniture and other items from here that supposedly has a repair contract. Well, we had filed 4-5 claims from October 2016-February 2017, for them to call and say they would be out in May. Not a specific day, no, just in May and they would call us at least 30 minutes before arriving. Then they finally called and set a date for the end of May. Then called two days before and set one for the end of June. Finally a repair guy shows to our house which we are thinking they will hope repair our only furniture. Nope. He looks at it, orders parts and says that when they come in, we need to call and set an appointment. They just arrived, a month later. So my family and I just purchased a new refrigerator from this location. Chris was the sales rep who helped us and was great! The manager from the delivery department is the one to look out for and his name is Marcus. Our fridge had damage to it and was not noticed until after the delivery guys left. I went back to the store on the same day as delivery and Chris got me in contact with Marcus and to schedule a replacement. Well, come to find out Marcus never scheduled the replacement and Leanna the store manager had no authority over Marcus to correct this. To this day, my family is still with the damaged refrigerator. I have reached out to them a third time and never heard back from them when they said that I would get a call back that day. My experience with Conn's was one that will guarantee that I will never return to their store. The salesman was great, except that I was looked down on because I didn't want credit and I didn't buy more. I paid cash for a dishwasher and after 9 days I called to find out why it wasn't in the store for pickup. I was told that if I wanted to pay $79 for delivery I could have it the next day as I didn't spend over $800. That is their policy, I demanded a full refund and went across the street and found the same dishwasher for much less money and brought it home with me even though they offered free delivery.
