This place is a real joke. The first time we went we encountered a service rep who was so rude in his questions when trying to set up an account. We left. Got a call from a manager shortly after we returned home who tried and earned our business. Our mistake!! We went in, met with Angel who was nice, helpful and a good salesperson...we bought a couch set and washer/dryer combo. Everything went well until a few months (4) passed using the washer I found that it is really a cruddy washer. It took a few months to really see just how bad it is. I called to see if I had any available options to get a new one, replace it, anything...NOPE! I was told that because it had been over 30 days, I am stuck with this product. How the heck are you supposed to know if a washer is crap in 30 days time? It takes time to see where the problems lie and then CONNS is worthless to help. Very unfair business when it comes to actual customer service. I am not trying to get anything for free. I just wanted the junk washer they sold me replaced. Horrible, horrible, horrible service! I don't know where to even start. Let's just say when they have a sale don't expect to try and return it or exchange it because they call those items clearance. They don't tell you that until you try and return or exchange the item as I found out. The manager at the store was bothered by the fact he had to assist my mom and then screwed up her paperwork and made her comeback into the store leaving my dad who is disabled in the car waiting. I was buying a TV and sound bar at the same time she was going through her ordeal and the sales person had no clue about how the shipping worked, didn't give me any paperwork on the TV or sound bar, made me come back into the store TWICE to get the remotes the forgot to give me and then I find out all that stuff wasn't just on sale it was clearanced. Even though there was no signage stating that it was clearance. So i would advise anyone that is even thinking about shopping there to avoid it like the plague. Look at the name of the company and then think twice. I have called out the CEO for an explanation of there policy on signage and employees, but I don't anticipate an answer. read more

So before I read the reviews I kept getting the ads in the mail. Thought id give it a shot, why not right? well, I went through the app process and preapproval and was told I qualified. Great, lets shop right? wrong. I had about ten minutes left of my shift at work just thought I would browse online nothing major. I immediately get a call. I asked who I was talking with and the gentleman said his name. I was hesitant because he called what seemed like as I hit the submit button. I told him could he call me in a few because I was still at work. I didn't get any good customer service such as oh yes no problem what time works best for you or anything, I got hung up on instead. Then I get a text from a Greg trying to "help me" but I explained I wasn't sure if I wanted to pursue anything with them because of the poor customer service I received from being hung up on. needless to say, Greg has not returned the text or a call since. I decided to confirm my suspicion further and read the reviews and I am so happy I followed my gut and chose not to go through with this as it appears I am not the only person with bad experiences. read more

Was lured in by an ad for a free 46 inch tv if purchase 2000 or more in store and got the old bait and switch. The tv was only a 39 inch and you had to spend at least 2000 or more in a living room set only to be eligible for a tv. After picking out my items it took 2 hours to get through the old green screen application which it seemed that my sales person was not capable of running. Once I was completed with the contract I was promised to get my furniture 2 days later. 2 days later came, no one called, no furniture showed, and after speaking to managers and corporate they never had the items in stock and it was going to take at least 2 or 3 weeks to get them to me. My options at the time were to cancel the contract, wait, or come into the store and pick something else out. I went in and tried to go through the store again and it was just as bad as before and still have no furniture. Stay away as this store promises whatever it takes to get you to sign the contract and then delievers absolutely nothing and gives horible customer service and acts like you are the problem and gives you absolutely nothing for the problems or issues that they cause. I went into the store on 71st and bought a full-sized bed(headboard, footboard, and rails), a recliner, and a computer to be delivered the following friday. The bed is a queen, way too big!! And they didnt even bring the computer. Told the delivery guy(s)...there were 4 of them, and they said they cant do anything about it so call the store. I called and spoke to Ian the manager over the store, he said he was sorry for the confusion, it was their mistake. They would schedule a date to pick up this bed and bring the right one, and that I had to come to the store on sunday for paperwork about the computer because the sales associate had not put it "on the ticket" ...whatever that means. So I go in on sunday and ask for ian as I was told to do, he was scheduled off that dayso Aaron helped me...whatever that was worth, all he could do was email and try to figure out what happened and then call me as soon as he got the email...its now been 2 days, so I called their corporate office. A customer service agent said that even if Ian the store manager at the 71st store in tulsa said they would, even if it was their mistake, they will not correct THEIR mistake, they will not exchange the bed. Horrible sale staff, and if you go online thinking that what ur going to get. Forget the prices online they don't exist and 36 months payment option doesn't exist. This place is horrible. I can't advise where to go just don't waste ur time unless u have a pre-approved flyer from your mailbox? Which my salesman says would make a world of difference.. which makes no sense to me. I just bought a $275,000 houses a few days before and was still told I only qualify for 2000$ in furniture and when I asked if I could get it raised they checked and come back and said i only qualify for 1000$, now.i don't know how you expect to get and keep customers. This company does not deserve even one star. I had furniture financed through Conn's in May of 2018. In October we moved the couch to another side of the room and noticed that the wood on the inside had cracked in half and noticed the back piece was not sturdy at all. I called Conn's but it took 2 weeks to get ahold of someone in the repair service department. I had left messages and no call backs. I called the main number only to be re-routed and transferred back to that department that didn't answer calls. Finally got ahold of someone in December. They said they dispatched a local furniture repair company to come out. They called me 4 days later and scheduled to come out the first of January. They came out and said they would have to order parts. 3 months later still no updates or calls about when they would be back out to repair. I called Conn's back frustrated. They found out that the repair co didn't fill out a report and they would have to send them back out to evaluate the furniture. They dispatched another local company to come out and scheduled to come out today. I got a call from the tech said he was 30 min away. The guy never showed up. I called his number back and messaged him and no response. So i call Conn's back up to the claims department and was told they couldn't get ahold of them either and hadn't for a few weeks. I am livid at this point b/c here we are 6 MONTHS LATER and still my furniture is broken. Now my recliner swivels weird and to the side instead of back and forth. The claims departments only suggestion is to send out the first repair company back out to evaluate the furniture for repair. The furniture is cheaply made and they are not making good on the warranty that i paid EXTRA for. The warranty says that if you do not get a call back 30 days after initial service dispatch then they would replace the furniture. I did not even get offered this, only to send out another company that isn't fixing my furniture. I would tell anyone not to buy from this company. I have paid my payments early or on time every month. This is not how you treat a good customer. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. read more

We purchased a dishwasher from them in April....today it will not power up. We are paying for the service agreement, and called for repairs! The earliest date is on August 4th! One week! We have to wait one week for repairs on something that isn't even 6 months old! I called their customer service line and was told there was nothing they could do! Do not buy from Conn's they do not stand behind their products. I Bought a 1700 dollar tv after purchase it was broken between them Reboxing it and loading it into my truck. They refuse to exchange it or have extended warranty purchased with tv repair it claiming physical damage even though they were the ones that handled it while I was told to go get my truck. Store manager Ian Byington is belittling and has zero interest in customer satisfaction or even being respectful and considerate. He was by far one of the worst retail managers I've ever delt with flat out told me it was fine when I left with it nothing he's going to do about it call customer service and see if they care because I don't. When I told him I had an order of 2500 worth of furniture also and I would cancel it as well he simple said okay don't care. If I could give a zero star review I would. In November 2015 I called Conns Customer Service many times over the course of many weeks attempting to get a price for a total payoff for my and my husbands accounts. I got different numbers every time I called. Finally I got two cashiers checks for the amounts I was told. My husband and I went into the Tulsa store on 11.25.15 and paid off our accounts in full and requested them to be closed. We were told we overpaid and we would receive a refund check in four to six weeks. A few weeks later we received my husbands check for his account. During the holidays it slipped my mind but by January I had received some letters saying my credit line has increased. Confused, I called to see why my account was still open. During this call, I was told that my account was still open because of a charge for Property Insurance. I was never made aware of these charges so I asked if my husbands account had the same thing, it did, but was cancelled because proof was shown on 11.25.15 when we paid it off. I instructed the employee that we never showed proof but we do have property insurance. I got the run around for a month and a half with no returned calls. After finally getting a hold of somebody at customer service, this person told me to send a copy of proof of property insurance and it would be taken off and the account would be closed. I did this, faxed the proof and on 2.20.2016 I received a letter stating they received my proof and credited my account $329.30. After receiving this letter I called Conns Customer Service back to see if my account had been closed and they requested a copy of the letter because they didn't have it. I faxed the letter to them on 2.25.2016. After not hearing back for nearly a month I called back to see if my account was closed yet on 3.15.2016. The lady told me they received the letter but couldn't close my account due to unpaid Accident/Health insurance, Credit Life insurance and Unemployment Insurance. I have NEVER, not once heard about any of these charges, now totaling over $600 due to interest. We were finally told that we could request to cancel by filling out a form found on their website but it would not remove the past charges. I filled out this form today 3.16.2016 and faxed it to their insurance department. I called to verify they received it and they had not received it yet and informed me that "An easier way to remove the insurance would be to email requesting it to be removed." I sent an email at 10.15 AM on 03.16.2016 and have not received any correspondence. read more

Asked for an extension for one month was told no problem we can do that you qualify just have to pay this certain amount. Well the payment was taken out twice. I called customer service they said no problem it will carry over to my payment the month after next. Please, please, please do not buy from this company! We purchased an extended warranty for an appliance we bought from Conn's in 2013. We called in for service on a Tuesday. She told me somebody would call me back to schedule a time. Really? I have to wait a couple of days for somebody to call me just to set up a time, even later, for an appointment? Yep. At least that process didn't take too long. Person came on Friday. Diagnosed appliance, said he needed to order a part, would take 4-5 days. Welp, seven days later do you think it's been fixed? Nope. Received a call yesterday saying the part was in, but they had to let the service team know so he can call us back to set up an appointment for him to replace the part! So over a week later and no follow up appointment scheduled to replace the broken part. At this rate, it'll be over two weeks from the first contact date before we have a working appliance. Please, don't buy from this horrible company. Unless of course you don't mind your appliances taking over half a month to be fixed. read more

Never again will I buy anything from this place. The name should give it all away. When they try to sell to you there the nicest people (fake) they don't care about you just your money. No joke. I had automatic bill pay set up cause every time I try to pay it would take about 5-10 minutes over the phone. If you did in store payments they needed to be done days before your due date, if not it was late. From having the automatic bill pay I got overcharged twice. I don't know about you but I don't have money just laying around where I could do two payments of $400 to the same bill. The refund check takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Living paycheck to paycheck that just messes you up in so many ways. The insurance/warranty they give you is a joke as well. My matters did not last a year before it started sinking, it's not like we're very heavy people I only weight 120 my fiancé 150 they can't do anything about it cause it's not the ground yet. First the sales rep was totally incompetent everything he showed us that we actually liked was not in stock and totally unavailable actually! But yet they were still showing it on the show room floor!!! WTF? So we finally found a set of bedroom furniture that we liked and was a good price, and the rep said "with this set you get a free 40" TV" ok sweet this makes up for it. BUT after the fact and we had all the paperwork ready to go and our delivery date was set, he tells us oh actually you are just $18 dollars shy of getting that free TV....ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? After all that they cant even just throw it in to be courteous! We spent hours looking to no avail because they didnt actually have anything in stock...I was mad and wanted to leave but the fiance was like oh thats fine cuz she really liked the bed set, ok whatever...We had a coupon for FREE delivery..Which turned out to be a rebate...okay well the rep told us that we will receive our rebate in the mail 3-4 weeks from that day. Okay i can live with that. 3-4 weeks go by, NO REBATE..call up customer service...They said: "The rebate checks take 10 WEEKS to come in" OH MY GOD!!! So another 10 weeks go by, NO REBATE, call them up again..."Oh you have to send something in to our arizona store to receive your rebate" NO ONE EVER TOLD US THAT WE HAD TO SEND ANYTHING IN!!!!! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT!!!!!! do business with Conn's Home Appliance on 10143 E 71st St. They make promises they can't deliver. All they really care about is making the sell including the management. My husband and sat home ALL DAY waiting for dinette set we purchased to be delivered. We requested early morning and they promise to deliver. We start calling at 10:00am they said it was put on the wrong truck and it would be in the afternoon. They blamed the warehouse guy for the mistake. During this entire process we spoke with a supervisor who escalated to his manager. He promised his manager would call us that was earlier in the day. Needless to say we never got the phone call. We literally waited ALL DAY we called back at 5:30pm the guy tells us the delivery guy refused to bring it that he parked the truck and went home and that it would be delivered the next day which was a SUNDAY. I told them to cancel the entire order went back got my money. The sad part is no one not even the manager apologize. They sales people, warehouse staff and store managers were very incompetent and cared less they had a dissatisfied customer.
