Very friendly staff and service there, purchased many items there, n different products,also purchased the top plans through all my devices there for the geek squad, Brought my laptop in to have them clean out the computer to when I bought it, also explained to them that the laptop keeps on flickering off and on several times and couldn't log in. When I explained that too the sales agents there that day, they were polite but not to professional, they kept on joking around. So, they explained to me that day when I did bring it in that I was level 2 on the highest warranty and a 4 year warranty for the extension, now they explained to me that if there was an issue that they would replace my laptop with a new version or credit me back for the full amount that I paid for it. Great that was the plan that I was paying for. So, bestbuy called me up a few days after and said my laptop was ready to pick up. So as a business considering I'm very busy is to find the time to pick it up. So, today Sunday March 17,2019. I did have time to swing by the store to pick up the laptop. Got at the store, the same sales clerk that was at the store the day of when I brought it in served me again, and brought my laptop to me. When he said it's all repaired he turned it on, and there and behold the screen kept on flickering off and on. Was not repaired, someone that day when I did bring in the laptop didn't mark down that it was flickering off and on because they were kidding around and not being serious with their work. Was not impressed with that and wasted my time going to best buy to pick it back up. Also told them because of that, my plan that I was paying for, states that because I'm level to with no questions they should of replaced it with a new laptop. But, that didn't happen what's so ever, the same sales clerk that told me that I would get a new one, turned around and said, we need to send it away for repairs?.... Now, my question is! Why pay for the top plan if your not going to keep to your word to replace it. You pay for a top plan through the geek squad for them to replace the device not to send it away to get fixed.... Now, my laptop is gone to get fixed and will be without one for two weeks. After I do get the laptop back, I will be canceling all services with the geek squad and never deal with bestbuy again, They don't keep to there word and policy for there warranties. Was going to purchase an apple iMac 27 inch with retina 5K display through them. And didn't, went to the apple store in the New Sudbury Centre instead n paid out right $5,000 on the new product for my business, a good investment through apple. So, they made my business at that store that day. Again, when my laptop comes in from the repair shop through geek squad and they give me back the same unit, I will not step into that place of business again. Not very impressed, totally unprofessional at that place. You pay for services and they give you a hard time also it's happening with my Samsung smart TV, it's blurry, called them, they came to look at it, and did nothing waste of money. Customers beware of there warranties, it's too good to be true. THEY DO NOT REPLACE THE DEVICE THAT YOU PURCHASED WITH THE TOP WARRANTY Just got a call from Best Buy just a few minutes ago, and there telling me that my computer screen needs to be changed for a cost of over $300.00 n I explained to them that the plan that I am paying for covers all of that n shouldn't pay a dime for it. That just shows how Best Buy handles there customers contracts for there equipment. They will get you to pay for any repairs, it doesn't matter if it's under warranty or not. Once,again they acknowledged to me, to disregard this call from them. Why don't they just replace the laptop then beating around the Bush, my warranty cover a new computer if there was anything wrong with it. They don't keep to there warranties. I advice anyone not to purchase a warranty from bestbuy. Too many hassles from them. read more
