Pros: - Awesome staff - very friendly and helpful. I had to make a return on a blender I purchased (turns out the glass was cracked), which was about as pain-free a process as one could hope for. - Lots of variety and an ever-changing inventory keep things interesting. - Great deals on everything! Granted, some of the items carried are not always top-notch quality or brand-new, but I have yet to have an issue with any refurbished product I've bought thus far. - Extended warranties are available for electronics, kitchen appliances, etc. - I've never had an issue with finding a parking space. Cons: - All the XS Cargo stores I've ever been in have been neat and tidy, but this one isn't. I'm not sure if part of this has to do with the space itself (awkward layout) or the staff, but there's a lot of dusty merchandise and general disarray. Perfect for budget-conscious individuals. I hope it never goes out of business.

My decision to make a purchase at McQueen's was based solely on the fact that it was a locally owned business and not a large box chain store given that you are normally given excellent customer service with locally owned businesses. The local appliance store was loathe to address my concerns (of course...they already had my money), pulled a Pontious Pilate, and referred me to said manufacturer, who also proved ambivalent about expediting ANY form of resolution. After several phone conversations with the manufacturer and ultimately LOSING MY SHIT, I was contacted by Pam from McNeice and Smith who arranged for one of her staff to assess my expensive boat anchor the following day. The washer was deemed DOA by the repairman, and on Pams' recommendation to the manufacturer, it was replaced within a couple of days. I can state unequivocally that the resolution to this matter would have been much more painful and protracted had it not been for the exemplary customer service provided by M@S. Thanx again Pam.
