After several phone conversations with the manufacturer and ultimately LOSING MY SHIT, I was contacted by Pam from McNeice and Smith who arranged for one of her staff to assess my expensive boat anchor the following day. The washer was deemed DOA by the repairman, and on Pams' recommendation to the manufacturer, it was replaced within a couple of days. I can state unequivocally that the resolution to this matter would have been much more painful and protracted had it not been for the exemplary customer service provided by M@S. Thanx again Pam. I didn't know there was a 30 day limit to return the item, but nonetheless, the item had never been used and I felt it wasn't unreasonable to speak to the owner. The moody cashier attempted to reach the owner and was unable to do so. She claimed he was on his lunch break. She stepped out for a few minutes, came back and said the owner declined to meet with me and refused to take back my 14$ item. The cashier had a smirk on her face and it really looked like she was pleased not to take back my item. I will NEVER go back there again, not because I wasn't able to return my item but because the service that I received was so unprofessional and frustrating. I will make sure to tell all my family and friends about this experience. I do not recommend this store.
