The local appliance store was loathe to address my concerns (of course...they already had my money), pulled a Pontious Pilate, and referred me to said manufacturer, who also proved ambivalent about expediting ANY form of resolution. After several phone conversations with the manufacturer and ultimately LOSING MY SHIT, I was contacted by Pam from McNeice and Smith who arranged for one of her staff to assess my expensive boat anchor the following day. The washer was deemed DOA by the repairman, and on Pams' recommendation to the manufacturer, it was replaced within a couple of days. I can state unequivocally that the resolution to this matter would have been much more painful and protracted had it not been for the exemplary customer service provided by M@S. Thanx again Pam. Vee was very good and a pleasure to speak to. Today, Ashley showed me the three rings and necklace and I was so happy. The items were boxed, except for a couple of rings. Ashley provided boxes for them, bless her. She was very diligent in checking the cost of each item and presenting me with the final charge. I am so delighted with the care and attention, devoted to the wonderful restoration of these very personal and precious pieces. I highly recommend this brilliant service to anyone who wishes to have precious jewellery repaired. Thank you all so very much.

My decision to make a purchase at McQueen's was based solely on the fact that it was a locally owned business and not a large box chain store given that you are normally given excellent customer service with locally owned businesses.
