Does anyone recommend a good place to get new material (top and sides) made for boats? NOT…read morePROSTITCH!! I'm going to vent a bit here... facts: boat tops were brought in and we asked for new material, we were told not to waste any money, but to re stitch. After a lengthy time, we decided to let them restitch (what we thought was rotten material), they are the "professionals". Also to get windows put in the old material (yes you read that right OLD MATERIAL, at their advise) less than one season the material ripped (shocker), and the snaps never closed on the windows due to the boat never going in and getting measured! (under their profession advisement) multiple emails, calls etc. (well over a year, with no response) last week out of the blue someone called back from ProStitch trying to make it right.. ha ha!!! conclusion: Maria at Prostitch under Jonathan's advisement stated now the boat go back in (which was never done to begin with) to fix the windows (that's ok, but should had been done long ago). Regarding the top and rotten material, they did their job by restitching and will not offer correction since this was our fault by letting them restitch in the first place, and according to Maria, we should had left and gone somewhere else if originally ProStitch wouldn't do what we wanted!!!! WHATTTTTT!!!! Aren't they the "professionals?" Also we were told that restitches let go and fail but we need proof that we had the word done with an invoice (yes I should had kept it, but did change email addresses), Maria said that they were broken into and lost all accounting and information, so basically it isn't their fault!!! And conclusion to our conversation on the phone she said she had no more resources and time to discuss the problem any further with me! Ok now that I've just lost half of the readers interest in my long winded story, please only support this business if you wish to be treated the same as we were!! What companies is everyone out there using??

I was in a jam, needed my computer fixed ASAP and made the biggest mistake of my life. I brought it to Staples. Payed 70 bucks just for them to tell me what already new from running a hardware scan. Then I asked them to but in a equal or better hardrive and found out when I was going to pay that they were going to put in a smaller one! Took my computer and went to a small guy down the way and got everything replaced and booted for 70$ + a 10 dollar tip because hey wasn't money hungry. Never again will staples see my laptop. Nor would I purchase a laptop here since my last laptop was bought here and when I needed it repaired i had to do all the leg work of registering the warranty and calling the third party warranty company to report my computer broken. Things I think could of been easily done by the people behind the desk.

Pros: - Awesome staff - very friendly and helpful. I had to make a return on a blender I purchased (turns out the glass was cracked), which was about as pain-free a process as one could hope for. - Lots of variety and an ever-changing inventory keep things interesting. - Great deals on everything! Granted, some of the items carried are not always top-notch quality or brand-new, but I have yet to have an issue with any refurbished product I've bought thus far. - Extended warranties are available for electronics, kitchen appliances, etc. - I've never had an issue with finding a parking space. Cons: - All the XS Cargo stores I've ever been in have been neat and tidy, but this one isn't. I'm not sure if part of this has to do with the space itself (awkward layout) or the staff, but there's a lot of dusty merchandise and general disarray. Perfect for budget-conscious individuals. I hope it never goes out of business.

The local appliance store was loathe to address my concerns (of course...they already had my money), pulled a Pontious Pilate, and referred me to said manufacturer, who also proved ambivalent about expediting ANY form of resolution. The washer was deemed DOA by the repairman, and on Pams' recommendation to the manufacturer, it was replaced within a couple of days.
