Prices have risen slightly over the past few years - there are more items at $1.50, $2, etc. - but nothing is over $3. How can you go wrong with that? Better yet, if something is missing a price tag, it's automatically $1. - Like every other store in Southridge Mall, this place is never truly busy. This, of course, means that you can browse in relative peace and quiet. - Lots of parking; you won't have an issue finding a spot close to the store's entrance. - Checkout experience has always been quick. I frequent(ed) this store often and didn't really see anything wrong with it. They sometimes get in liquidation stock from other stores. Like one time, I remember they had these old Gameboy carrying cases, where the box had water damage and they were at least 20 years old. (they were for the original brick-style Gameboy) Other times, I'd find bootleg DVD's in their DVD bin. Edit: As of July, 2015, Buck or Two in the Rainbow Mall has closed up permanently. A group of teens then came out of the same stall vaping. It smelled like mango, which I'm allergic to. Thankfully, I had my EpiPen with me. The layout is a bit different than other Walmarts that I'm used to. The meat department can also be hit or miss. I have no idea when to go in order to have all the meat cuts that you'd like to purchase. There's a ton of ground beef, medium although I'm not sure how medium it is common meaning it's pretty much mostly fat. It's weird it's not like that always. Also their dog treats and dog pee pad and dog flea products could use some reordering. So many times I've gone and I've either got the last one or there's none. I rarely if ever had a different experience Checkout: Is there anything worse than Walmart checkout? Just a reminder there's no more bags you have to bring your owner by them. There is a real effort to stay on top of the new releases and I'm often surprised to see something on the "just in" shelf that I hadn't expected. The owner knows his stuff and has weekend staff who are equally knowledgeable and board games players themselves. I've also noticed that his prices compete favourably with the bigger Toronto stores. I recently took advantage of his ordering service to get a game that was sold out in dozens of other stores.
