I purchased a very expensive WiFi 7 router ($640) from this store on October 10, 2025, then traveled for work and didn't get my ISP service upgrade till Friday, November 7, 2025. I tried to install this router all day Sunday, and I believe the combination of the firmware on the AT&T Fiber 5000 service, the AT&T hub (BGW620 All-Fi), was unable to connect due to what looks like a firmware issue. I gave up after 13 hours of trying. This morning, November 10, 2025, I brought the new Wifi 7 router back to Best Buy in perfect condition. They refused to accept the return because it was past their return date. I've probably spent more than $15,000 on stuff from this store over the past decade, but not accepting this return will be the last time I purchase anything from Best Buy. read more

This review is based on my interaction with Anthony. I visited the store yesterday and there weren't even 10 cars in the parking lot. For a second I thought the store had permanently closed. Inside I didn't see any sales people and I was in need of a car charger. Luckily Anthony came to work on his off day. I overheard him talking and helping another customer. This Best Buy is located in Ashley Park and sits directly on the bypass. It was one of the OG stores in this section of Ashley Park. I have been here several times over the years for a variety of items with my most recent trip being for a new computer. The stock of the store is your basic Best Buy, as is the layout. The one differentiating thing for this location is the service, at least for me. Every time I enter I am greeted immediately then on my way to the section I am headed I am checked on and then when I hit the computer section I got another Associate checking in on me. Surprising to see all the bad service reviews for sure! While I did not ending up buying a laptop on this recent visit, mainly because they did not have it in stock, it was still a successful trip to Best Buy. I have no problem with Best Buy's products but they just snuck a 229.98 charge on my checking account that WAS NOT authorized! My debit card has now been cancelled and I have to go through getting another card plus notifying all the accounts that direct debit my bills this is a scam by Best Buy and for this reason I will never be a customer of Best Buy again!! read more

The store feels like a club, and some employees were using demo speakers blasting club music with super strong base while singing along from time to time. It's extremely unprofessional, and surprisingly these behaviors were allowed. read more

As others have posted, the employees still seem to think they are working at a club rather than a retail stores. The demo speak was again blasting away with bass so strong I could physically feel it fighting my heart beat. Despite finding it hard to focus, I found what I was looking for (with no help or interest from the employees of course) and made my way to the check out line. On no less than four occasions, employees (who had finally noticed my existence) tried to redirect me to the kiosk at the door. I politely refused, informing them that I was trying to stay as far from the speaker as possible. On the final occasion, the employee said "what?" putting her hand to her ear. I replied with "See? You can't hear me." When i finally got to the register, the employee from the kiosk switched out with the one who had been struggling with the customer ahead of me. It was at this point that I a realized why they were so inattentive and had not taken the hint that the music was too loud. The employee reeked of marijuana. As a side note, 90% of the customers in the store were over 50 and giving that speaker dirty looks. Do better Best Buy...do better. read more

You walk in the store, somebody greets you saying hello. They don't ask if you need any help they just let you walk by. You walk around the store nobody offers any assistance. After waiting 30 minutes I just decided to leave because I got disgusted watching employees talk to each other and basically literally holding up a desk while I stared at them waiting for them to finish talking to each other so I could ask for assistance, which they never did so I decided to take my business elsewhere. On the way out asked if they worked on commission he said no then he asked me if he could help me? (Now it makes perfect sense, no one wants to work)Get a paycheck for doing nothing. I said no.. Was just in here. Not one person greeted me and ask me if I needed help. Customer service is dead in this place. Was interested in buying a wireless printer, but as usual there's no one working in that department or no one seems to care if I needed assistance. As I stated, was looking for a wireless printer with fax. Found one, but found a better deal on Amazon for a hundred bucks off. Like most people I rarely leave positive reactions, but this experience demanded it. I went to the Newnan, GA, Best Buy to purchase a Star Link kit. I had no idea what I was even looking for and wandered around the store for a bit. Luckily I ran into GAVIN! He was wonderful. He was patient and answered my questions, looked up the kit I needed, and asked me about all the add on items without being pushy. He placed my order which arrived a day early. I was able to order the pole adapter at the same time and it arrived in my kit. My neighbor hooked everything up and it works perfectly. The price was way cheaper than I was expecting. My only problem is I don't quite get streaming. I live in a rural area and have never had anything resembling streaming. I'm in a learning curve right now. I have had some less than pleasurable experiences with Best Buy in the past. This purchase and pleasant sales person, GAVIN made up for it. One more thing that has nothing to do with Best Buy, but I was amazed at the Star Link kit's packaging. It was packed very securely, but I was able to open the perforated tabs without any tools or scissors and no broken finger nails. If you live in the Newnan area and shop at Best Buy, look for GAVIN. read more

For my birthday, my spouse purchased what he though was the latest Apple watch on 9-14. I opened it on 9-16 and tried to charge it. When the watch would not stick to the charger base my family previously owned, we headed to Best Buy to check to see what was causing it not to stick to the base. In attempt to resolve, we discussed it with the store associate that then called the manager over. The manager then told us the watch was fake and that some other things were missing out of the box and they will have to conduct a 48-hour investigation. With our mouth opened in disbelief we asked her what do we do and how can it be resolve because we know we did not do anything but take it out of the box. The manager then told us that the company we trusted all these years that my husband should have opened it and check it before he left the store. Again, with our mouths opened, my husband asks her should he have to open a gift to double check from a trusted store. And then she told us we should wait the 48hrs, I asked her then what, she said to call and dispute the credit card company and if they do not do anything then go file a police report however the 48-hr report was not in our favor. My husband called back in to speak with the manager in disbelief and asked her who does something like this and her response was why do people do what they do. Just so unprofessional as a manager when you know your customer is in destress. We called in and disputed the chargers with the credit card company and they could not believe the best buy did not resolve the issues. As we were waiting for the credit card company, we called apple to check to see if the serial number were connected to someone else account, they say they will need an apple id of someone actual account to check but they know it was not attached to mine and they made a case so I could take it back to Best Buy as I was instructed by Best Buy corporate customer service. I took the case number to the store and ask for a manager. The manager Kesia had a very bad attitude and told me there is nothing she could do that I had to call their resolution department because her GM Jennifer had already put the case in, and she was on the phone with her. So, I went out in the parking lot and called because I knew they would send me back into the store. As they did! I kept the agent on the phone went back in and she said like I told you and whoever on the phone, they are the ones that has to take the apple case and the agent on the phone said no the store because it we purchase in the store. With no compassion for the customer from something that either happen in their store or at the manufacturer. I am so glad I had the agent on the line because she could her the manager, so she took notes and said don't worry the call was recorded. I told the manager she should be ashamed of herself because they hire her to have the upmost customer service regardless of the situation. All we wanted was the real watch. I was told by Kesia to come back and talk to Jennifer their GM the next day and again Jennifer told me to try apple to see if I could get my money back from them because her hands were tied and there was nothing she could do, and Best Buy corporate told her no. I am so mad at the way we are being treated. At this point I just want a refund. **Update** Jennifer called me back that next morning and told me that she would just handle it and give us the real watch but since they were out of stock that she would send me a receipt to do a pickup at the Peachtree City store. After 2 weeks of back and forth and 5 different case numbers, I'm just glad it finally got resolved but wanted to still put the review out to bring awareness to this situation. I google it to see if this has happened before and it has more than you know. So please if it's not a gift, check your purchase before you leave the store. read more

Best Buy Support is a total rip-off. Their 800 number told me after holding for 50 minutes the wait time for help was 113 minutes. It went down hill from there. I paid $200 for Support on 9/19. After getting no support; on 10/3 I requested cancelation I was promised $140. Only $120 has shown up on my card. Have been unable to get my money. I give them a 0 star rating read more

If I could give this place zero stars I certainly would. I bought a laptop from Best Buy about seven (7) years ago. The laptop came with a "free" one-year virus software subscription from Geek Squad. What I didn't know is the plan will "auto-renew" each year. I've tried to cancel this software for the past three years because the computer is no longer working (water damage). Each year I speak to a Geek Squad person by telephone and each year they say they will cancel auto-renew....and refund my credit card. This never happens. So today I get an email that my credit card has once again been charged $42.79 for my annual subscription. I just got off the phone with some guy with a heavy accent, telling me he will take care of everything. Yeah....right. I'm calling my credit card company next, contesting the charge. A police report will be my next option (credit card fraud). In summary, AVOID BEST BUY AT ALL COSTS! What they are doing is criminal in nature and constitutes credit card fraud. read more

Customer service is awful! If you need phone or geek squad help, pack a lunch. The staff is nice, but they need a more efficient way of meeting customers needs. My wife and i bought a $2800 refrigerator about 2 months ago and had it delivered and installed and it was missing a screw for the freezer handle. The guy who installed it said he would order it and would be back in a week to repair it. I have yet to hear back from the guy and i have called customer service several times just to be hung up on and still no screw. I have gorilla duct tape holding my freezer handle on and it literally looks like crap. I just hope they dont do other customers like i have been treated. read more

Salesman was very rude, He told me I should have came by yesterday that they only had 10 TV's in the whole wide world on sale and they didn't have any. I had driven from LaGrange Ga about 40 miles away, to check on the sales, I also would have purchased another TV if salesman had not been so hateful. In my recent trips to this Best Buy, I have been pretty disappointed. They NEVER seem to carry any Apple products in stock. The workers in computers are not knowledgeable about the products they are selling. I came in looking this store looking to buy an iPad Pro. They STILL don't even have it on display. That product has been out for 8 months!!! Of course after having to basically search the system myself cus the worker didn't know how to check stock, I was told they didn't have any available at all. I then drove to the Peachtree City store, where I received great service and got the products I need. There seems to be some managerial issues at this store with stock, displays, and overall training of the employees. read more

The store was empty. Only a few cars in the parking lot. Based upon other Best Buy's, I figured I would be in and out. I pick up an Apple Magic Mouse and nobody is working computers. I pick up another item, and head to the front. The only cashier is installing a screen protector on a customers phone. As the cashier was finishing, another employee offered to help. I was asked what I needed and explained that nobody was working computers and I could not get the item in the department. This cashier and an employee from customer service go to get the mouse. There was no sense of urgency and both employees took their time to go get my item. I could understand if the store was busy. The store was quiet. No sense of urgency in this store. As long as you are getting something off the shelf, you would be good. If you require someone to get your meds taken cared of, I would go to a different Best Buy. read more

Supposed to be an authorized Apple repair store but after 3 trips to the store and a total waiting on iPhone X to be fixed under factory recall for 7 total hours, they actually broke my phone as to where it was not able to be used at all and I had to make the drive to the Apple Store at Lenox to have it repaired and the technician confirmed that the Geek Squad technician was the one that tore a piece of the digitizer off of the phone which made is unable to be used at all!!! read more

Been in this store many times looking for a little of everything. Vacuum, phone cases, and gadgets, TVs, Home steros, audio stereos, kitchen appliances and so on. Half time I come out empty handed because they didnt have what I went after. The other half was split between not having any help, the help I did have was air headed or the selection of what they did have was little to none. I went in this afternoon for a phone case for a Note 3, a car charger plug, an adaptor for my phone that goes in the car so I can play my music without a cord or bluetooth. So when all is said and done... I came out with the plug. Most cases were for iphones. No adaptor... or atleast I couldnt find one. Couldnt find any participating employees. Not a single employee so much as spoke to me from the time I walked in until I got to the casheer. Which had a personality of a wet paper sack. And the guy at the front door never so much as looked....even after I raised my voice and spoke to him when I come in. So I guess Ill go back to hitting da WalMart first and buy online. I need a really good auto stereo/gps. Guess Ill be hitting the corner auto guy. Ugh! read more

I ordered a TV for pick up on 11/24/18. Within 30 min. I had a text that my order was ready and would be available until 11/30/18. I stopped by on my home from Atlanta. They helped me IMMEDIATELY and offer help loading it in my car. The two gentlemen that help load it were very friendly and even asked to pet our puppy. We had to work a little bit to get the TV to fit in my car. With a little bit of manipulation, we made it work. I was in and out of Best Buy - Newnan in less than 10 min.
