I have to give high marks here because of the customer service we received while in store. Especially when they were short staffed and busy as all can be on a Thursday evening. We came here with what we wanted already in mind. My Dad had been wanting to get a Ring doorbell for some time and just never stopped anywhere to get one. Since we already knew we were going to be in the area we made a plan to come in. Once we were in the store we made our way over to where they were and had a bit of a wait. This is the only downfall here. We had no idea that they were short staffed and were getting a little miffed that we weren't being helped. When we got to the display area for the Rings there were at least two associates there. They were helping someone and once they finished up with that customer we thought they would come back to help us. No dice. We stood around for a bit and I eventually made my way to the front of the store and asked the lady sitting by the door if we could get some help. This is when she informed me that they were short staffed and those associates that were at the display and then disappeared were 'truck staff.' I guess that means they unload product off the truck and bring it to the floor to be stocked. After a few more minutes of waiting we finally had someone to help us. We told them what we wanted. At first we were told they didn't have it. We all know that Best Buy has those nifty price displays that will tell you if and if not they have a product. Going by that we knew that it was in stock. Well there were multiple displays and one showed they didn't have any in stock. They searched the cases moving things around to make sure that they were not hidden behind other product. We were told they may not have it but to hold on a minute. Both associates, yes we wound up with two at that point when we initially had none, had disappeared. We thought that meant we were done for. The one associate had gone to the back and luck was on our side. They had the doorbell, it just hadn't been taken off the truck yet. This associate, I really wish I had gotten his name, had to climb a bit in the truck to find the doorbell and he brought it out to us. That associate deserves some kind of raise or recognition. He was very helpful. He finished the transaction for us and we made our way out the door with the doorbell and not needing to make another stop on our way home. read more

Terrible experience with this location and customer service. Have waited a month for appliance delivery and installation. Received emails stating a need to reschedule as one appliance was unavailable, however the day of sale in store the item was still in stock. This leads me to believe that sales care much more about their commission and sold off my appliance after I had made an initial delivery date. The week of delivery i was emailed again to inform need of yet another reschedule as item was still not in stock. On the new date of delivery I was called and informed they were on their way but they only had one appliance still. I had them deliver and install the one appliance and then called and scheduled delivery for the following week. Today again I called to ensure delivery was happening and they claim no scheduling was received on their end. Waiting a month for a washer and dryer install and being led in circles. Was told they would compensate me with a $25 gift card. 25 doesn't help much when I've now taken off 4 days from work to accommodate this companies incompetence. Asking for full refund and compensation for my time. They days I've taken off are near the cost of this one appliance and I'm so dissatisfied with this company. I'm at Best Buy writing this review because it is frustrating at the staffing in this store and terrible customer service. It's 4:38 pm right now completely dead and I came in here to buy a Nest camera which is in a locked case. I walk up to the Best Buy employee at the door and ask if they can call someone to help me get a neat camera and before I even finish my sentence the teenage looking employee says "it will be a 10 minute wait". Dam, ok. So I wait and after about 10 minute by a Best Buy employee and what looks like a loss prevention employee both approach me and ask what I need. I feel like I'm under suspicion or something. I explain I need a nest camera and after several minutes of looking of course they do not have it. Cmon Beat Buy you are better than this. Corie Barry staff your stores! I ended up going onto my Walmart App and ordering it online and they even offered delivery to my house within 75 minutes. So I really need to start buying my electronics at Walmart and Amazon? Prices clearly marked and they're a little on the high side. The specific model I'm interested was here, chained to the desk but available to demo. I'll take it... from elsewhere. Still, I looked around a bit at the accessories and didn't find any deals. If you need something Right Now, then Best Buy's the spot for you. If you can afford to wait a couple of days, then UPS of FedEx can bring it to you for less. read more

I needed to have the battery replaced on my Classic IPOD. When I did a search "Best Buy" came out at top of the list. I went to their web site and they said "we repair all Apple products". I even found my specific IPOD listed as one that was supported. I made an appointment and drove an hour to get there. When I spoke to the repair person he said "Our web site says that we repair all kinds of things that we don't". When I got home I emailed their senior management team. No response. I'm sure that they were all to busy congratulating each other on the great job they were doing. Oddly enough, Best Buy is in mall full of big box stores that are all going out of business. I found the replacement kit for my IPOD on Amazon for $28.00. It includes a new battery, tools and an instruction video. read more

Very poor customer service. We ordered a gaming monitor for my grandson and when it arrived I plugged it in and the top corner of the screen was damaged. I took it back to this Best Buy for a replacement. The customer service manager (Tony) said I damaged it because the box was not damaged. I told him I did not damage it and that it was damaged when it was put in the box. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. This is the second time that Best Buy has done this to me! When one orders something online & selects in store pick up, you would think you'd be in & out in minutes right? Wrong! My wife ordered a iPhone 5. We got an email saying it was ready for pick up. We did a few other errands first, arriving at Best Buy 30 minutes later. Made our way to the mobile department & gave our email to Sebastian who was working the counter. 'sorry we have to wait for our system to receive your order, why didn't you call it in?' Because its 2013 & we thought your system would be in the same year. Many customers were served before lo & behold a passanger pigeon brought our order through. Seriously we were in the store an hour & forty minutes. Over the course of almost 2 months they delivered 3 dead-on-arrival dryers. A manager threatened to write up a really nice salesperson if we didn't accept charges for them to haul away their broken dryers. Then we went to Lowes and literally got the same dryer delivered the next day no hassle. read more

4/15/2021 My daughter bought a TV and had it shipped to store believing this was safer. We picked it and took it home on 4/14/2021. As soon as it was opened glass was falling out and the screed was shattered. The store was already closed for the night. She called this morning and was told to bring it in. Well, Sebastian (manager) from store #1445 told her that the box did not look damaged and that he would not exchange it or return it for her. It is only a $258 TV!!!! The money isn't an issue for me as $258 is nothing, but it sure is to her. It is a matter of principle for me. All the money that we have spent at Best Buy is now in the past. My family will never purchase another item from Best Buy as they do not stand behind their products, package handling, or their return policy. I have never been so disappointed with a company that we have had such an long standing association with. It is really sad that Sebastian (manager) provides this kind of customer service. Not only did i take their word that it was one of the best gaming laptops when it came to demanding games like warzone,cyberpunk2077 etc. It could just about run cyberpunk2077. But if you want someone to take their time and and explain things to you, this probably is the best place for you. This Best Buy isn't the top of the Best Buy's I have shopped at. The employees aren't willing to go out of their way to assist you. They all act as if you are taking up their time and they have better things to do. This is true for every department I have shopped in from TV's, computers to cell phones. I found out recently that if you call the Geek Squad you are calling a centralized number so when you show up to the store, they won't necessarily warranty what the Geek Squad said on the phone. NOT COOL!! That's was per the Geek Squad manager in Hagerstown. So I would suggest that if you really need help and you have the time you find a different Best Buy. Horrible refund policy and customer service. Purchased a sound bar - wasn't able to get it set up properly - no matter what we did it wouldn't sync with our tv. Last week the remote got hot and started to melt. I took it into the store and told them it wasn't safe to use and has basically been a pain to set up. They told me it sounds like I have an issue with the manufacturer and not Best Buy. I told them I purchased it from Best Buy not the manufacturer - they basically told me tough luck. Worst customer service...evah. Seriously. Walked in and no one helped me. Not when I stood around for five minutes. The guy in the phone section was too busy on his own phone. Then, when he finally acknowledged me, he didn't know the products, couldn't recommend anything, shrugged when I asked him questions, discouraged me from buying anything and then walked off. The Geek Squad desk was no better. They were rude, made us wait 20 minutes in line while the tech FLIRTED with a woman who was too stupid to power up her computer. Very, very, very bad service. There's a sign there that reads something like "#1 in Customer Care - 2002" -- well, yeah...that's about the last time you cared about pleasing customers. Never again. Ever. I never feel pressured, they took back my Samsung Note 7 accessories with no problems after the recall, they have answered all my computer questions when I have them, the manager bought girl scout cookies from my daughter's booth last year to share with his employees .
