Slowest service I've ever experienced. Lots of workers standing around on their phones.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had, so bad that I've always backed Best Buy but will never shop there again after multiple attempts of getting my order and no followup after following their regular feedback / complaint channels. The timeline goes 1. Preordered product two and a half months ago 2. Told on arrival day that it would be another 15 days 3. Changed my order to curbside pickup at Clackamas location 4. Clackamas store did not have the product in stock 5. Changed my order to curbside pickup at Gresham location 6. Went to pick it up when it was ready 7. While in the parking lot, the app and other channels said that curbside pickup was not available despite signs everywhere at the store 8. Called the store number from the parking lot and was told I'd get an email to confirm the order so it could be run out 9. No email after a time 10. Called the store number again, and was told an employee would be right out 11. No activity after a time 12. Called the store number again, and the store number verified that it was actually a call center and that there was absolutely no way to contact the store. I asked to speak to a manager to see if a manager could call into another manager at the store, and the representative hung up on me 13. I canceled my order, drove home, got it on Amazon and it arrived in a timely manner 14. Received a text from the Best Buy help center asking about what the issue was, I explained the above, and they said "I understand how that is frustrating, is there anything else?" I said no, and they said that they would be disconnecting me due to lack of activity I have a major health problem at the moment, otherwise I would have went in. I've never seen something like that before and was really surprised that there were literally no solutions to the situation, especially from Best Buy, but it sounds like they're cutting down on the need for stores if they're cutting communication and service like that. If it's easier to get delivery, I'll be shopping at other vendors moving forward. read more

Excellent service in store, no complaints their. But the delivery service they use is absolutely horrible. I scheduled my washer and dryer delivery at the time of purchase. When the product shows up, only the washer actually got delivered. No dryer. So I call customer service and am told their was a delay in shipping and that my dryer showed up at their warehouse after the delivery truck left. They then had no reason as to why I was not notified about this prior to my delivery and was told it would take days to get my dryer delivered. I do not appreciate your shipping issue becoming my problem when I received an email the day prior saying both items would be delivered. Total bs. read more

Ugh. The employees are either super rude, and/ or just don't care. The only way this place is ok is if you're running in there to grab something, and don't need to talk to someone. The guy, Victor, in the mobile department is completely useless, and is one of the rudest humans I've ever met. He actually tells you to not buy things there because *he* doesn't think they're good enough. What the actual fuck? Worst Best Buy I've ever been to, and really discourages me from ever going again. read more

My daughter took her phone that wasn't charging to geek squad in Best Buy. They told her it would be done around 6 and they would call her. This was at one,So she hung around all day in town trying to wait it out only to call themat 630 to be told it would be done till tomorrow. So she waited for a return call the next day and finally call them around 2, only to be told they could not fix it. So she paid 50 to have them waste her time and do nothing for her.... I had encourage her to go to the fix it hut on Alberta but she thought it was to far to go. Hard lesson to learn. Will never come back. Would give 0 stars if I could. read more

Last night at the Gresham Best Buy, sales clerk Tyler B was the best. He knew his products, he knew how to find a washer & dryer in stock for my emergency requirements. (when most are a couple weeks wait) He was personable, professional, and quick and explained everything. Best Buy is luck to have him! read more

I posted this review a couple of days ago and didn't really expect anything to come of it. Imagine my surprise when the phone rings and it is Best Buy. I was quite taken aback as I haven't had a business call me to make things right and fair!! They were calling because they wanted to make this issue right, and wanted to know how they could do that. I felt that to make it right they should honor the service warranty and refund the amount I was charged to have my PC's OS reloaded. As of about 2 hours ago this issue was resolved. I accepted the refund, and with it purchased a Full Version copy of Windows 7 I now give them a four star rating and they have EARNED everyone.! read more

This is the worst service I have ever experienced. Sales people (especially the managers) are extremely rude to the customers. If you can avoid this place please do so. Other stores deserve your hard earned money. Not these rude a**holes. read more

Went to Best Buy in Gresham, Oregon for a protective case for an IPhone (on a school night), which was advertised differently online vs in store (nobig). The young, too much make up representative told me either or Lifeproof/OtterBox would fit my phone, it is a +. I have been a customer of this store for the last ten years. I have seen people come and go but I have always had a positive experience with the store and Geek Squad personnel. As an example; I fell for a scam. It cost me a lot of money to have someone take over my one day old laptop and install a whole lot of stuff on my hard drive. Including a remote access program that Steven had to use a special Geek Squad program to remove. He also erased all the other crap and put it back to factory specs. All for no charge because I am a member. I did not even have an appointment. This is the only place I take my electronics for questions or repair. DON'T!!!!!! I went to the Geek Squad in Best Buy because my computer was acting a little slow. I was in a time crunch because I was headed to Hawaii for a visit. After I paid $$ for one year of service, they told me my hard drive was dying. I had them replace it. Then they were piling more they could charge me by saying they would load up data from my old hard drive onto my new hard drive. REALLY???? What wonderful service! For what would have taken them a couple of minutes with equipment they already had, they wanted to charge me $85.00. I'm surprised they didn't charge me for renting the spot I was standing on. The biggest "surprise" was about three weeks after I got to Hawaii, I fired up my laptop and sat aghast as the little balls rolled around and around going nowhere. Obviously my computer was not firing up. I managed to find a competent person to repair it because there are no Best Buys on the Big Island. SURPRISE!!!! My computer needed a new hard drive less than two months after I paid $$ to have them replace it. My competent computer woman said that my failed hard drive was a cheap inferior product. Go back to Best Buy and do more business even though I'm still under contract? I don't think so. read more

I took my old external hard drive in to the Best Buy on Norman Ave. in Gresham to have all the information transferred to another hard drive by their Geek Squad. Cassandra checked me in and helped me find help with my old phone and then help looking at computers. She was very sweet. When I went to pick up my hard drive, Steve helped me. I'm kind of a dunce about technology, but he was ever so patient! He helped me navigate to find all the information on the computer after he plugged the newer hard drive into it. He waited kindly as I wrote down step-by-step how to find files and photos. Steve also helped me find and transfer a very important song from an old phone onto the computer. This was a huge deal to me, as I feared I might have lost this irreplaceable song. Steve was gracious, efficient, thoughtful, knowledgeable, personabe and impressively professional.
