Ordered dishwasher Nov 6. supposed to be installed Nov 10 but due to new flooring I had to do some changes. they came back after that on Nov 17 and said it wasn't good enough. (later confirmed it was fine). Paid lots of money for someone to come out and remove two rows of hardwood floor and rescheduled delivery for Nov 20 They kept confirming delivery. But then someone called me and said that was just confirming install not delivery (none of the confirmations said this). So now they are going to try to figure out when they can come out. and yiu can never talk to anyone at the store. they keep routing you to corporate and they are clueless. Today I bought an iPhone 16 Plus at the store at Tuttle Crossing. Overall I was pleased with the service of the sales associate who helped me. I was led to believe, however, that if I took my old iPhone to an AT&T store I would be able to get a credit as a trade. On the way home from Best Buy I stopped at an AT&T store, and the sales associate there said I could get no credit for that phone. I feel as though I was misled by the Best Buy associate, which is disappointing. Even if he had told me there was no credit available for my old phone I probably still would have purchased the new one. No one, however, likes to be misled. My wife and I have made several purchases including appliances at Best Buy over the years. In business transactions I value trust, so I am going to need to think about this before I buy another appliance. read more

Just swung by this Best Buy to take a look at the Apple Mac Books and maybe make a purchase. It seems as though they are doing a remodel inside which is totally fine, but they seemingly tossed all their Apple products onto one table with no marking at all. I had no idea what any of the prices were and no associates offered help while I stepped over debris trying to look at the little price placards. I feel like most companies have planned dates for their remodels and are able to properly move products accordingly. It's a shame Best Buy had to cram all of their displays onto one small table due to this seemingly impromptu remodel. read more

We ended up at Best Buy after failing to find what we wanted at some other stores. Online ordering was easy, but the email notification process was a little unclear - an email was sent that told us a day when the order would be ready. When we went to pick it up, it turned out that we had notified when it would arrive at the store, but not when it was actually available: it was stuck on a pallet in the back, and it would be awhile until they could get to it. As a result, we had to leave and return later to do the actual pick-up. In walking around the store while we were waiting for an update, one thing that was unusual was that there was a lot of clutter out blocking some of the aisles and demo areas. Overall, it was a good experience, and the staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Wow, 2 1/2 stars? I'm really surprised about this. We had a very positive experience. I wish I could recall the name of the man who helped us in the computer section. He spent quite a bit of time with us sharing information about different types of computers and the pros and cons of each. We came in with very little knowledge, but left very well informed and ready to make a purchase the next day. They didn't try to upsell us anything or tack on any additional coverages/insurances. The store was clean, had a very good selection, and was easy to navigate. Overall, a Best Buy is a Best Buy, but this is one that I would certainly visit again next time I'm in the Columbus/Dublin area. read more

Surely I've reviewed this? I've been here many, many times. I used to live nearby. I'm less enamored of Best Buy the last few years, and honestly wonder how they hold on. Online sales are stealing customers, and whenever I go in the salespeople seem clueless and they don't have what I want. Or, they do but it's very expensive. I have gotten computers and appliances here, and it's been a fine experience, but : do your research, know what you want, shop around. This time, I needed a keyboard, stat, and the selection at Walmart and Staples was slim. I knew what they carried here, and wanted to check them out in person. But: no one allowed inside, unless you have an appointment for a consultation. There are staff outside, eager to help. They're doing online pickups, but also will run in and bring out several things if you want to pick from them. Since I knew the models I was interested in, I asked, and they brought out a couple. Ended up getting one. I paid for the privilege of getting it now rather than in a few days, but I really needed this keyboard (seems fine so far.) I'll still shop them occasionally, but I wonder how much longer they will be around. read more

I had to pick up an order I placed, and when I arrived, they had two lines 1 for "store pickup" and 1 for customer service, so everything else. I went to the store pickup line, and there was only 1 employee behind the counter, and she was calling all the customer service people. I waited almost 10 minutes for her to finish them and move on to me. Why have 2 limes if that's the process? I've been going to this Best Buy for over 20 years, since they opened it. Never had any issues. I don't know if it's new management, or lack of employees, or both, (completely possible), but today I was there with my son and the bathrooms were the worst I've ever seen anywhere. Normally they are fine. I took these pics to show. There was no toilet paper in the entire bathroom, BUT more bothersome, was the state the stalls and sink area were in. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have had in the whole United States. I ordered a fridge, washer and dryer at this store over a month in advance for my new build home. They put in a wrong delivery address and shipped it to my old place. When the delivery didn't show up, I was left calling best buy customer care. After about 5 hours worth of phone calls and taking to 10 different people, they couldn't resolve it. No one even showed the courtesy to follow up with a call or status update. So I drove back to the store hoping they can help. But received an extremely poor service. They tried to re-do the order as if it was a new order and pushed the delivery back by a week. Now I'm stuck at the house, without appliances for a week, without a way to keep the food cold. Even worse, the manager wouldn't listen and gave me two options to 1. Either cancel my order and get a refund (that doesn't help) or 2. Wait for a week... with no back up appliance or any kind of compensation. They're happy to hold my money for more than a month while their incompetent people mess up my order and not show any willingness to help. When I explained that I had a little one at the house and we need to be able to store food for her.... So this guy asks me to BUY another mini fridge, which I would have to take back to the store once I received my order. PATHETIC SERVICE!!!!!! CAN'T STRESS THAT ENOUGH. I'd never shop at this store ever again. And not just the store, their "customer care" helplines have been equally terrible. read more

I find little point in coming to Best Buy. Most it not all of their selection is available online, and often can be found cheaper. This is most definitely not a "best" buy. It also has annoying employees. They can't leave you alone for a few seconds before they ask you if you need any help. I hate them for totally ripping you off and making it sound like you're getting great deals on their bullshit. It's much cheaper to buy what you want online. You also won't have to deal with poor service. Checkout lines were so slow. Only two lanes were open, come on. Annoying employees who pester you. They are seriously always up your ass here. I would not recommend buying anything from Best Buy. This place should probably shut down soon. Will not be sad to see that. read more

Went in looking for a new monitor for my work from home set up. Waited 40 minutes while the employees checked out others who had been there when I arrived. No one came over to ask me if I needed help, etc. People who arrived after me started getting waited on so I left and decided to order online and have it shipped to my home. By the time I walked out to my car to place the order, it told me the item was no longer available. Did purchase a Bluetooth mouse. Two stars because the employee at checkout was friendly. This place--specifically, The Geek Squad, is trash. I made an appointment online to get my iPhone X battery replaced. I chose this Best Buy because it is closer to me than driving to Polaris or Easton to the regular Apple Store or choosing a 3rd party repair store that may not use actual Apple parts. One would assume if they are accepting appointments to replace a battery, they would have said battery in stock... but when I get to Best Buy 2 days later for my appointment, I go through the 20 minute preamble and various system checks only to have the Geek Squad person tell me (after all this time) that they don't have the battery in stock and it needs to be ordered. Because I must be a sucker, I went ahead and prepaid for the battery and agreed to wait to be contacted to schedule replacement. One day later, I get a phone call, schedule my appointment and bring my phone in today to get the battery replaced. After getting registered again, the Geek Squad guy goes back to their repair area and returns to tell me now they have the battery in stock but not the other parts needed to do the replacement... Despite calling me specifically to come to the store for my battery replacement. At this point, I demanded a refund and made the decision to stop giving Best Buy my money and, more importantly, my time. Obviously, Best Buy has bigger issues to worry about that pissing off a single consumer, but if your current business model is getting handily throttled by Amazon and other online retailers then the only thing you have is customer service. And if you can't do that right then you as a viable business aren't going to be long for this world. I won't be shedding a tear when Best Buy goes the way of Circuit City, HH Gregg and all its equivalents. read more

I went here to pick up the computer I purchased at the Stringtown Road location earlier. I went to customer service like I'd been instructed. I explained that I was there to pick up my laptop to which the woman replied that I needed to move further down to the store pick up section - 20 feet further down the counter. So I move down. There was another woman on the phone. She was nice enough to give me a friendly hello right after I arrived but it was still another 7 or 8 minutes before she was done. In the meantime the other woman whom I originally spoke to just stood there and looked out into the store like she was bored. I wondered why she couldn't help me. When the lady got off the phone, all she did is get my laptop from the shelf behind me, asked for ID and had me sign the pick up form. Do you see where I'm going with this? After Christmas, my mom and I were able to happily exchange gifts. She got me an iMac computer. After having it a while, my family and I finally drove the hour to Dublin to exchange the computer and get credit or money back to buy an MacBook from this store. After looking at the receipt, the manager told me that she couldn't take it back. I said it's unopened m'am and I have the receipt. As a matter of fact, I plan to buy the computer I want today right here. She still didn't budge. I don't get it. Unopened package, receipt and return it to their store and they won't take it back. Be careful. If you buy something from them and have problems or simply change your mind, you better get it back ASAP or you will be crapped out of luck like me. I was on a trip and got a call from home that I had left the power cord for a piece of medical equipment. I got on the Best Buy website and saw that it was an item they carried in their stores. I was only 15 minutes away from the Dublin store, so I headed there. When I walked in, I was greeted at the door by a worker who asked what I was looking for. I showed him and he directed me to the correct department. I was only about halfway to that department when another employee met me with the part I needed. The second employee helped me verify it was the right part and much to my pleasure, it was only $10. I went to the register to pay and the staff there were extremely friendly as well. Overall, they saved my trip and got me back on the road in less than 10 minutes! read more

Love this location!!!!! They always seem to have employees everywhere to help at any given time. I got an awesome surround sound system (over $2,000 worth) and they were so helpful to walk me through it all and they helped me with all my items to my car even though I said I could get it. I waited until 1:00 the end of the delivery window and called 800-304-1259 and was told there was no room on the truck and it would deliver in 2 days. We are leaving on vacation tomorrow. . I tried to call the Dublin, Ohio store on all the listed numbers and no one answers any extension.... . So I drove to the store. The service gal said there was nothing she could do and I should go home and wait for my delivery in 2 days.... Stopped in here determined to use the gift card I've had for 2 years. I was going to buy a dual USB car adapter but found only two brands available. One was $24.99 and the other was $29.99. I'd researched them beforehand and I knew I could get different brands from what Best Buy carried for as little as $8.99 from New Egg. So I bought two blu-ray DVDs. It had been a while since I was in this store and was surprised to see the mobile phones and accessories were taking up so much more floor space. There was only one rack of CDs (understandable since a lot of music is bought song by song these days) and several racks of DVDs. I steered clear of the other sections since I had an idea (and a back-up) of what I wanted. read more

This was a GEEK Squad visit that is being reviewed. I was experiencing keyboard issues. The diagnostics expert with GEEK Squad did a quick check and consulted with me on options. He was friendly and thorough. In fact, the options of sending the equipment out for full diagnosis which might be the motherboard vs just buying a $40 wireless keyboard? I rescued the laptop with the keyboard. So there was no upsell pressure and that's huge!!! Maybe others have more complicated issues. Lenova by IBM is pretty run of the mill. At least give GEEK Squad a shot. read more

The store itself is fine, I could browse here all day. The in-store pick up people at this location can't seem to get out of their own way. This one is close to my work and I'm in a hurry at lunch time, and these people don't get it. At least for this store, the in store pickup is no advantage, you can go pick it off the shelf and go through the registers faster than these people move. If I want to do in store pickup I go to Polaris. Update August 2013. For the first time, I placed an order online for instore pickup and had they had it ready and knew where it was. It was actually faster than just buying it in the store. I hope this is an improvement and not a fluke. read more

Certainly enjoyed my trip here. I came in with my wife to get her wireless headphones for her birthday. The sales associate, Trey, was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were interested in getting new phones as well-- Trey helped us through the entire process from start to finish. No hard selling and the place is very very clean! !!!BUYER BEWARE!!! If you're considering purchasing a protection plan through Best Buy, DO NOT bother. Here's why: This is a rather distressing review to write because up until this point I have had nothing but fabulous experiences with Best Buy. In fact, it was one of my favorite places to shop for electronics, media, and appliances. I purchased my car stereo on March 25, 2016. I paid the installation and bought the additional protection plan. The installer was fantastic. In November, 2016 the stereo shut off when I turned my vehicle off (as expected) and when I started my vehicle again later that day, the stereo had no power (not expected). Everything else on the dash had power, so I checked the fuses, they were all good, I checked the faceplate (detachable face), it was secure, and I even replaced the fuse for the stereo in the cabin just in case - nothing. I called the Tuttle store's Auto Installation bay in the hopes of scheduling an appointment to have it looked at and left a message with no return phone call. I called multiple times (during business hours) and got no answer or response. I decided to go online to try to schedule a tech to look at it, and the Tuttle store was booked until the end of January (which I understood, but I wanted my stereo fixed after paying what I paid). The only store that had any availability was the Gove City store, (which is a 30 minute drive for me). I took my vehicle into Grove City and the Auto Tech that looked at my vehicle was phenomenal. He was courteous and professional. They called me a few minutes after I dropped my vehicle off and said they had it fixed. Awesome! He said that he checked several things and nothing stood out to him as being a problem. He said after taking the faceplate off and putting it back on and the stereo coming on, he speculated that the faceplate wasn't on securely causing the stereo not to come on. Problem is that I don't take my faceplate off because my vehicle has an alarm system already, so I don't feel it's necessary. Regardless, I was so happy to have it working again that I didn't argue. I asked him to show me how he put it on so that way if it happens again, perhaps I could get it working. He took the time to show me step-by-step how to put the faceplate on (which mirrored how I have always done the few instances I have removed it). He told me if it happened again to just swing by and he'd take a look at it. It worked fine for two or three weeks. Last Wednesday I was talking to my mom on my way home through the Bluetooth in the stereo and it worked as expected. Shut my vehicle off, and when I came back out, there was no power to the stereo again. I tried taking the faceplate off and putting it back on like the Service Tech showed me, and nothing was successful. I took it back to the "Magic- Touch" Service Tech, and he tried unsuccessfully as well. He asked me if I bought the protection plan, to which I replied that I had, and he started looking things up on the computer. To my dismay, he said that the computer was prompting him to send my stereo in for service. He informed me that what that meant was taking the stereo out of my vehicle, and shipping it to the manufacturer to be repaired, then the manufacturer would send it back to them to be reinstalled. This process takes WEEKS! He informed me they could reinstall my factory stereo while the repairs are being done. Here's where I get frustrated. First, I purchased an aftermarket stereo to replace a factory stereo that wasn't working anymore, and since I don't have the habit of storing trash, I don't have it anymore. Second, I'm expected to drive around with a big gaping hole in my dash for WEEKS?? Not days, WEEKS, with wires, and mechanical things that are supposed to be hidden behind the dash just staring at my family and me while driving? Third, I purchased the extended service plan on this in an effort to avoid these kinds of complications. Last, but certainly not least, I've left countless messages for managers at both stores (because they were either in meetings or with other customers) with no return phone call and zero accountability. While I recognize that shipping my stereo to the manufacturer may be protocol, this is not in the least bit a customer-focused solution. I feel like I have completely waisted my money, time, gasoline and energy because I could have saved money on Installation and installed it myself and saved money on the "protection plan" and just dealt with the manufacturer on my own. Best Buy prides itself on the reputation of making technological transitions easy for its customers and the reputations of the products they sell. Yet as a company, won't back up their commitment to their customers when when those reputable products they sell fail those customers. Even worse, won't bother to return customer's calls. Plain and simple, this "solution" isn't acceptable at all. read more

I shop here all the time. Everyone is very attentive and asks me if I need help. The same customers who complain about being asked if they need anything too often are the first to complain when no one asks. I'd rather be asked several times. I spend thousands here year over year and have always been happy. They price match and will refund the difference if the item goes on sale within a certain time frame. You can't ask for more. The worst of the worst. This Best Buy location is doing everything they can to be another victim of Amazon's shut down game. You'd think that Best Buy's upper echelon would tell their store management that they're riding a fine line, and anything they can do to help the customers stay loyal would be a necessity. The only reason I went back this time was for a return. I had my receipt. It showed I paid for the extra warranty and they still pushed me to the manufacturer. I purchased over $10k worth of appliances from here and while the sales process that day went fine it has been nothing but terrible since. I have had to continually follow up to get my appliances scheduled or delivered. I paid for installation yet no installation has occurred. They have given me the run around on every single item and issue since the day I made the purchase. I regretfully decided to give them my order versus another large retailer in Columbus because Best Buy supposedly could get me the items more quickly. I would have preferred to wait months rather than deal with the mess of a situation this has been. They could care less about me as a consumer or about the work and hours I've spent on the phone over the last month trying to get my items scheduled and/or delivered. If they had not bs'd me and just told me no, we can't do it that day, I would already have my tv, because time was available today when I first called. They failed, not me. I don't think I'm being unreasonable, but you can judge. In store experience was fantastic. Had a great associate help me pick out a great TV, about $2k. Free delivery, seems less a perk and more the standard these days, but that my not be a reasonable position. Given a 7 hour window for when they will arrive... Whatever, my wife should be home. A day before hand they narrow it down to 2 hour window. No input for when is best, but again, whatever, we can figure it out. My toddler has an accident that night, so the next morning we make a dentist appointment to make sure he's okay. Only time available is 10am. The two hour window was 10-12. I call them by 830 that morning to try and just shift the window by an hour. Or get them to just show up later in the window. I'm told that it should be doable. Super nice people telling me all the right things. I'm told that the delivery team will contact me. I'm called at 945 (BEFORE THE WINDOW) asking if I'm home. No, wife left for the appointment, probably 5 seconds ago. You were supposed to call me before this? Told all the right things again. "Don't worry, we have another delivery nearby, we'll just come right back". I leave work, to make sure someone is home. Hours go by, I call back. "Oh yeah, we're coming, they just are finishing up other deliveries first!" Hours more, call back, apparently after closing. No delivery occurs, no communication that they aren't coming. Call them today... Shows you as a not home. No record of any communication, just that I suck. "We can get it to you Saturday".... No. Can't get a hold of the store either to process a return, which I doubt they'll do over the phone anyway. Crap like this is why Best Buy will follow the way of Circuit City. It's not the customer's fault that you can't deliver on your promises, you are pushing customers away. P.s. this ruined my fucking week. read more

My husband recently purchased new speakers with our new TV and had constant issues with the speakers loosing audio! He returned the speakers to the store and was informed he would have to return the set for repair to be sent out which took 4 weeks! This did not solve the problem as the speakers failed to work ! He returned again on Thursday and was informed by geek squad they would send out again and could not be exchanged for a new set until they were returned 4 times! My husband ask to speak to the Manager who did an amazing job giving the best customer service by listening to my husbands concerns and after turning on the speakers himself and immediately exchanged for a new sound system! We were thrilled!! Thank you Best Buy for training your Management team to give your customers excellent service and attention to their needs to provide great shopping experience!! Dear Best Buy, Its been a long relationship since I first entered your store back in the late 90s. You've been with me for 4 televisions, a couple DVD players, countless CDs/DVDs/Video games, multiple fixes on my computer, a few MP3 players....I spend the day after Thanksgiving with you anually....hell, you're my favorite chain store by far. Your CD prices always beat the competition and your selection of electronics is second to none. Sure, I've cheated and gone elsewhere for finer goods such as Denon, SonyES, and B&O but the heart of my entertainment world belongs to you. Today the U2 remasters came out and even with tax you beat out Amazon.com AND gave me a $5 reward zone certificate. What ever will I do with those $5? I don't know, but I'm sure I'll have no problem wasting a couple hours and a couple more dollars when trying to spend it. Some may hate your impersonal nature, but like Walmart I can appreciate capitalism for what it is and appreciate your effort to win my cash. Now, if only you could hire some people outside the computer department who knew anything about anything electronic.....that'd be stellar. I came in to have my apple phone fixed like I've done plenty of times before. For some reason they sent me to the geek squad this time. The girl helping me was a joke. She told me she was in training, then she told me she had been there for 3 years- then she told me she had been there for 6 years and claimed she had never seen someone not from Gsquad help with these phone issues. If you're going to lie at least get your story straight. No one from apple was out helping other customers yet they had zero available appointments and every future date I tried they also had nothing that would work with my schedule. I have always gone through the Verizon/cellular reps there with zero issues. She then told me to make an appointment with apple and offered zero help. He said he was correct and showed my the screen, gave me a printout because I wasn't so sure he was correct. He was Wrong. He made over a 800.00 mistake. Terrible service, just terrible. My mom and I went looking for a mouse pad and a laptop case and some guy was working in the laptop section and just sitting on his phone and then ask if we need help as we are leaving after 30 minutes. Then we waited to check out for 30 minutes since nobody was working register and I looked around and saw at least 4 Best Buy employees just sitting on there phones and not helping anyone when they could be checking us out or just helping in general. Customer service is horrible. Manager Aaron Letty is a straight up liar. A cellular representative promised that Sprint would issue service credits for the difference between the then current promotion and the contract rate. This was a lie, Aaron assured me he would get it fixed, he then backed out of his promise. Sprint corporate told me they deal with these tactics all the time with Best Buy.
