Pretty pitiful, I want to order the new Oura ring 5 online, but I thought I would go to a store and look at the display first. One to reconfirm my ring size is the same as Oura ring 4 and to see if I want rose gold or regular gold. I walk into the store and am greeted. I ask the employee where I can find the Oura ring display and he vaguely points to a corner of the store. I go that direction thinking as long as he sends me to the general direction of where the rings are, then I can manage to find it myself. The rings were not in that direction, so I spent the next 6-8 minutes looking for the rings. I could not find them and it took another 5 minutes until I was able to find another employee. Turns out they don't have the displays out, but I can go to the checkout to find the sizing kits. The lady at the checkout wasn't so helpful either, I was looking for a sizing kit to purchase so I can wear for 24 hours. But she just kept telling me to tell her the ring size I need and she will bring it out to me to purchase. Only problem is, oura ring number 5 is on preorder right now. So she probably can't go and grab it for me. I just said thank you and walked out. Overall my experience was remarkably unhelpful. She acted very friendly and gave a little refund back for the missing parts and a "free" 30 dollar gift card . No power brick. No packaging. I asked them to give me the open box "fair" price which was a $10 difference. She then tells me it will be another 30 minutes to update in the system. I haven't been to Best Buy in yrs, but my (now 13 yr old) daughter told me she wanted a large computer monitor for her bday. I assumed she wanted a docking station for her Mac and a larger desktop monitor. But when I got to BB, she further explained that she actually wanted a PC desktop for gaming. I felt a little blindsided. I thought I was spending $500 and suddenly I'm looking at 2k setups. Without any warning or time to research. Ramy was soooo helpful. For a high school kid, he most definitely understood his stuff and was very good at explaining computers in a way I understood without it in any way sounding condescending. I know zero about gaming computers, but I never felt dumb because of it. I'd wished I had my gamer college aged son there, but Ramy made his help and presence unnecessary. I never felt any pressure to spend more than I wanted. Or buy more computer than she needed. He was very helpful in showing us a range of options at different price points and explained each of their pros and cons. I also really appreciated that even though she's only 13 and in junior high, he involved her in the conversation. He asked her questions and educated her on what she needed. He didn't just ignore her because she's a kid. I sure hope I won't be back here again, buying an expensive setup, but I'd hope he's working there should I be in that situation again read more

It has taken 3 months, 17 days of taking off of work, getting babysitters, pet-sitters, etc yet we still do not have a working washer and dryer. They have replaced each unit multiple times. We are suffering through inconsistent scheduling, third parties of varying quality and absurd lengths of hold times on the phone with customer service. Run to Costco or any other place that is actually reputable, legitimately has real customer service and will followup and follow thru. They have canceled appointments, missed them, not showed up and been unwilling to make this right. It also takes more than 24 hours for them to update their system. After hunting both online and in person at other stores for a tablet case, we checked this location of Best Buy to see what was onhand. No descriptions online at any of the big places (Best Buy, Frys or Microcenter) were very helpful either with generation and specs, so it was good to see them in person and be able to ask a human (in this case, Corey) who was able to handily double check the specs of the case I liked, and confirmed that it would be good. Friendly greeter also at the door was also able to aim us in the proper direction (good thing because it was a ways back in the store). I ordered a washer and dryer with install. When the third party installer Best Buy hired arrived they refused to install because there was some crud on the hook up valve. The hook up valve by the way isn't broken. It's just the installer refused to turn it on the premise it might be broken. When this same thing happened to my mom when she got a new washer from Home Depot they sent out a plumber for free and then rescheduled the installer. The plumber was there for two min and turned the knob. Best Buy not only refused to pay for a plumber the installer they hired left without speaking to me. He half hooked up the dryer and didn't leave the washer. He then proceeded to lie to his company that I threw a broom at him (even though we were in different rooms and I was on the phone with Best Buy). I believe he lied to have a reason to leave so he wouldn't be late to his next appointment. and then still hours later can't get me a straight answer when I'll get it my washer back. Plus I have to get my own plumber. As a women 7 1/2 months pregnant who is 5 feet tall. I've never had an installer not only lie about our interaction but then say he felt threatened. I can handle a lot of bad workmanship but lying so blatantly is unexpected and baffling. I paid in full for the install and products and I waited two months for Best Buy to deliver the product and for this to be the result, is horrific. I want to say this about the entire store policy but don't buy from this place. I bought a computer for my son and had the total tech protection on my account. Because I did drive up pick up they somehow associated the purchase with an account they were supposed to merge years ago that had all my same information on it. They tried to say I didn't have the protection at first to fix it when the monitor was broken 3 days after purchase. After hours on the phone I got that sorted out and it was sent in for repair with a $99 deductible. I was informed the next week it was eligible for replacement in the store. When I got there they said they would replace it but because that computer wasn't on sale anymore I would have to pay the several hundred dollar difference to get the same computer I will never shop there again read more

Hostile Best Buy employee grabbed my cell phone through my car window. This is ridiculous amid covid. The person was not profesional. She Did not understand that the model number did not match the SKU on the website. I found at least 3 products with wrong model no. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and without providing me proof or return that employees became defensive and started running away. When I took a picture of her to complain to the manager she grabbed my phone. What's more concerning is that it would have never happened in the store. So much for contactless curbside pickup. This Best Buy seriously needs some help. I drove all the way out here as they are a "Magnolia" store. Not a full separate location like the one on Elston (I love that store, BTW) but one with a small section dedicated to higher end electronics. The problem? This location has help that is clueless. I needed to purchase some new seats for my home theater. I went so I could actually sit in them to see what the difference is between the various models they supposedly carry. So you know- they only have two of the many models in this location. The first sales person I flagged over said she didn't know anything (at least she was honest) and brought over the "expert". This kid also knew nothing about the chairs, and went and found a third salesperson who basically read the tag on the chair to me and handed me a brochure. Then all three of them stood looking at the seats while I told them the features. Totally exasperating! Hmm . . . .maybe I should work there. And do you want to know the kicker that really set me off? I couldn't buy the theater seating in the store. If I wanted them, I had to go on line to order them. You mean I could have just stayed home and not talked to an "expert" to comparison shop? Gee . . .that's a great idea!! I almost never buy anything whenever I go into Best Buy, I usually use the store to look around and explore and then I go on Amazon and get what I want for a better price. I would feel bad about saying that, except that I really don't feel this place deserves my business. I would have given just one star, except that I keep in mind that the store is clean, and that the people at the register are usually helpful and polite, unlike the people they have on the floor. I recently had a typical experience there; when it comes to more expensive items, like computers/laptops, I prefer to buy them at a store--maybe it's a psychological thing, I don't know--and so I had gone in willing to buy a laptop that evening, but was soured by the consistently dismissive demeanor of the staff in the different departments. I can't even remember the last time I was approached by someone asking me if I needed assistance--a few years at least--and the general attitude of the employees is very unprofessional, and they're often acting as they would if they were hanging out in a living room. I think I'll continue to use this store as the place I go to decide what I'm going to buy on Amazon. read more

I didn't realize I had to make an appointment and was told I would have to come back but was very pleased with the assistance I received from Bruce Regel who squeezed me in since it was a pretty basic task that needed to be performed. He called me later that night to say that they had begun the work. The only negative was that I was under the impression that I would get my laptop back later the next day and found out it wouldn't be ready until the morning of the 3rd day (2 days after I dropped it off). But, didn't buy Best Buy warranty with it. 3 months later fridge stop defrosting so it called up Best Buy and they asked to pay a fee of $100 plus parts for them to come out. First of all LG fridge is horrible. How can fridge stop working with 3 months. Never buy a lg fridge. Best Buy should be more knowledgeable about what product they are selling. My cell went down, and I immediately ordered a replacement from Best Buy on Wednesday, December 20 for a guaranteed delivery by Friday, 12/22/17. I received an email response for my order on Wednesday, and that was linked to a best buy tracking tool linked to the shipping company, which in this case was UPS. My phone arrived around 4:00 PM Thursday afternoon, a day ahead of schedule. The phone I purchased was discounted $ 80.00 and a additional $ 10.00 discount was given me through Best Buy rewards.
