We added another line agin to my service and she help us to put everything back and put the screen on and the utter box in the phone the whole works. I'm going to speak specifically about T-mobile as a service, do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else. The service is horrible these last few months in Chicagoland and customer service absolutely sucks. Not only did they switch their payment option from accepting credit cards to only debit cards to collect your payment(specifically giving you a discount for paying on time) but also their are down towers in the area that haven't been resolved in months and they have no eta of when they'll be back up, the estimates they do give are days to weeks. Buy somewhere else Mike Sievert deserves a pay cut or to be fired for failure in providing reliable service because that's my pain point, not that he cares read more

By far the WORST experience we've ever had with a phone provider. We went in yesterday to get new phones - it took literally 3 hours because every step took SO long. We were told that our phones, airpods, and Apple watches would be free due to the current promotion. Great! But when we got home and looked at our future bill, we saw monthly data charges for the watches (amongst other charges). This was not disclosed to us - when we went back today to return the watches, we were charged an $80 restocking fee. So we ended up paying THEM for a 'free' device' - grr. Other things went wrong too- we declined the phone protection but sure enough, there's a $36 charge for it on our bill. My husband spent another 2.5 hours there today working through the issues, most of which they 'couldn't resolve, you need to call customer service'. Can't imagine how long that will take... The employees were friendly enough but this has been the biggest time suck and frustrating experience ever. Please save your time and money and go to another provider (or at least a different T Mobile location). read more

I always have such good luck at this location. I stopped in and met with Robert to discuss an LG G8 a fee days ago, but unfortunately there was no great deals and it was going to be $750. A quick search on eBay got me a Overstock LG G8, which is unlocked for $325. When I stopped back George was super nice and knowledgeable on the LG and helped me switch over my SD and SIM cards. I should be good for a few more years. I couldn't see spending $110 to replace the battery and back glass, which had a slight crack in it, on my old LG G6. read more

On 4/12 I made a payment and a payment arrangement on my account. I paid $93.37 to start the arrangement. On 4/19 & 5/3 there should've have been auto payments for $65 and $200+. On 4/15 I wanted to get the wireless home system being that I recently moved. I went to this location and was told by the store manager, James, that I would have to bring my account current in order to get the product. I asked would I have to make another payment for my payment arrangement and he lied and said no being that I'm bringing the account current. I paid $190.47 in cash in order to complete the transaction. I was charged $65 on 4/19 for the payment arrangement. When I called customer support to inquire about the charge I was told that the payment for $190 wasn't identified by the system as a part of the payment arrangement and that's why I was overcharged. Since when a payment that a customer put in for $65 costs them $255?! I demanded a refund of the $65 but was denied. I requested to speak to a manager and the manager claimed he was going to "help make the situation better" he lied and said that he's going to refund the $190.47 and it'll be broken up into two payments back on my card. I told him I paid cash. He claimed that it'll be away for them to refund me the money(see screenshot with reference number) the rep also instructed me to not go back to the store to return the product as he wants me to give them a chance to make it right. I only received partial of the refund. That partial payment was from my previous payment I made to setup the payment arrangement, $93.37. The decision of the manager cost me the customer for my account to be past due over 60 days and when I called in again to complain about this mess that's now at the customer's expense!!! The next manager claimed there was nothing to be done and that I should've went back to the store for the refund of $190.47. I told her the first rep advised me not to go to the store and they're handling the situation. This is terrible customer service and the fact that agents are trained to lie and mislead customers all so the can make a sale should be illegal!!! I would like to terminate my services and return all products back to the company as this is foul business! PLEASE avoid this location at all costs or any store that James is working at as he's willing to lie to his customers just to gain a sale and make his store look good. I'm sure I'm not the only customer he has "helped" that has experienced this! When I called to notify James of his mess he claim he was going to "see if he could give me a credit on my account" well James we will see what happens next with your future employment with the company if you keep stealing from your customers! Moral of the story DO NOT DUE BUSINESS WITH T-MOBILE!!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND PLAY DUMB AS IF IT'S THE CUSTOMER FAULT FOR ANY ISSUES!!!! Ask help from anybody else....EXCEPT Kathy! I visited this Tmobile store close to JCPenny. I was looking for a replacement phone foe my daughter and ask her about trade in value of GS5... she quickly answered "They dont give much,... 10 bucks!" (not so welcoming). Then i asked if there are promos for current customers that we can take advantage of, she said "not really right now"... no! (not giving effort to accommodate the customer). Well i said "that's it I guess you you're not being helpful"... i told her not to treat customers like that. I said I've been a tmobile customer for so long and I don't deserve that attitude. We then left and walked around the other tmobile store... we were accommodated well and we got a trade in value of $150 for the GS5. We got a new phone and they even offered us good promos (though we didn't take)... shout out to the staff of that store (one that's close to sears and round 1 ground level) The reason I'm giving 1 star is just to be able to post this review. read more

Dishonest and unhelpful When I ask for help they pretend to be nice in front other customers but when they leave the guy with the beard at the counter tells me he can't help me and he told to call customer service to do it myself even he could just do it there immediately. The only reason the store is there is to pay the bills and Sign up but when it comes to removing unauthorized product or payments to your account they don't even bother helping at all. Be very careful at this store. We went in to buy a new phone, and thought we had amazing service until our bill arrived a month later and found out we'd been scammed. After selecting the new phone, the sales rep flashed his computer screen at us and said we have a $150 customer service loyalty credit toward accessories. We of course assumed he meant credit, as in free and actually asked him, free? He answered yes. He failed to mention it was line-of-credit, but confirmed when we, in surprised, again asked free. We found out later, when we received our bill, when he confirmed free, he must have only said in his head, free for today. Very deceptive. We are currently pricing out to leave T-Mobile if this is how they train their associates to get commissions and sales. read more
