To be fair, I had a good experience with the appointment scheduling. Also the customer service and technician were very pleasant. The problem is the glass. The replacement glass for the rear car window is oddly curved and badly distorts everything I see out that window. When I look at cars out that window they are stretched and look like trucks. It's not only annoying but definitely unsafe to not have an accurate view of what is behind you. I hope that they will replace the glass with glass that provides a clear, undistorted view. I am surprised any business is permitted to sell auto glass that has this issue. read more

I filled out their online quote form expecting to see a figure right away, but instead someone called me. She followed up with an e-mail estimate of $159 in their store and 189 at my house for a front windshield replacement. The e-mail stated that it included the glass and labor. I assumed that was everything because I had glass replaced on another car at another location and the price was all-inclusive. and we made an appointment the following day at their location; they said it would take an hour. (Interestingly the e-mail quote linked to a Barbara Walters special on the dangers of not having the glass replaced properly and it mentioned a few things to look out for as well as advising not to drive the car for quite a number of hours afterward (I think it may have been 24) and avoid washing for a week. About 25 minutes into the repair we were told we needed additional primer due to the age of the car and he needed to do more cleaning around the frame. It would normally be $65 but he would do it for $35. They showed us the car and the previous glass had been removed already so obviously we didn't have a choice to say no. They said it would take longer to install due to the primer but 20 minutes later the car was finished. (The entire installation was 45 minutes. I know this because we were watching a film on my kindle in the waiting area which did have free WiFi.) Afterward we were told to take the tape off the car in 24 hours and not to wash the car for two days. There was no restriction on driving. They also spoke about a lifetime warranty and said to come back if the windshield leaked. He spoke about past customers who have not come in right away, but let the leak damage the glass for sometime. It was a bit concerning to me because it sounded like it was a common problem. I noticed when we got in the car that there were clear hand-prints near the edge of the glass and the Barbara Walters video said that oils from hands (when the installer does not wear gloves) is a serious issue with adhesion. They were otherwise polite and the waiting area was comfortable, I just didn't appreciate the bait and switch with the price and I'm skeptical whether the glass was installed correctly. read more

Be alert when trying to navigate through the parking lot, a lot of cars packed in a small space on relatively narrow street. Had a chip the size of a thumbnail (thanks I-66), quoted for $79.00--quick service, in and out in 15-minutes. The owner let me watch him do his magic. Used a drill to get the loose debris out to get past the first layer of the damaged glass. It's not 100% good as new but having used a "do it yourself" kit in the past from my old car, I expected the divet to always be there. There's no way to 100% get the glass good as new unless you replace the entire front windshield but looks 90% better than what was there before, overall very satisfied and highly recommend for quick chip repairs. read more

Had to take my car back a few times for recurring damage to the repair. Then was sent to their Lorton location that wasn't much help. Horrible management and horrible customer service. Very pushy and argumentative attitudes from all staff. All in all, the glue attaching my rearview mirror wore off and my mirror came off the windshield. I also discovered a really deep and long cut on the side panel bordering the glass. In the end, I went somewhere else to get it fixed correctly. Don't bother with these guys. read more

Bought a Groupon for these guys because I had a cracked windshield. I called to get a quote on how much it would be to replace it. I was given a quote. I told them I had the Groupon and then they said they had to give me a new quote since I had the Groupon, which ended up being almost $50 more -- negating any benefit from having purchased the Groupon and in fact, would cost $20 more than I had just walked in off the street. Ridiculous! I tried my best to explain to them that I felt what they were doing was not right, but it basically degraded into a basic math debate with the customer service lady. I can add and subtract, thank you. You can't cover up what you are doing no matter how complicated you try to make adding and subtracting 3 numbers. If they play these kind of games with their customers on their pricing, I don't want to see what they do to my car. I went elsewhere with my business. No wonder they wanted me to mention that I had the Groupon "before" I got my quote. The lady kept on complaining angrily at me, you were supposed to mention the Groupon first! Lol. Crooks. Just another bait and switch. I called got a quote on replacing my windshield. When I arrived with for the appointment I had 2 coupons to save me some money. I showed them the coupons before the work started. After the work was done I was told they gave me a special price and the coupons would not be accepted. Since I did not want to argue in front of my daughter I paid the price and left. I also called a few days later to attempt to resolve the problem. I was given the special price story again. I was not given a special price. I was given a quote, I accepted then I found a coupon on their web site and attempt to use it. On September 25, 2015 I got a deep chip on my windshield from 495. I was able to find Best and they took care of my problem right away. The problem was the technician's drill "walked" over the undamaged part of my windshield leaving a fishhook shaped mark outside of the repaired area. Fortunately it is on the passenger side but I feel that his drill bit was dull. Anyway I have never had anything like that ever happen in all my years of getting chips fixed. Had perhaps the worst business experiences of my life, and I'm in my 40s. This business would not honor the terms in writing on my GroupOn. I told them when I scheduled my windshield replacement that I was using a GroupOn. I also provided it when I brought the car. After they replaced the windshield they tried to charge me over $100 more that the retail price printed. The younger employee agreed with me, but the older man insisted on more than double the price. He wouldn't give me my keys back and was so threatening that the younger employee was scared and embarrassed and I actually considered calling the police! Had the worst experience with this company who started out very friendly in the beginning but when they screw up, none of their personnel are capable of dealing with customers. The best part, the employee Royal had the audacity to tell me not to stress out after I asked her for the owner's name and phone number to contact to express my frustration with his personnel. Not to mention the wasted day off from work and the 2 hour late arrival, that I was notified about until I called the company. They were suppose to be at my place between 9a-12n but no phone call came until I called to tell them I havent heard from the technician. The main problem I have is that I specifically asked Kathy, who gave me the quote that for my vehicle, to ensure that I did not need any special molding for my car. She said no and we made the appt. My appt came and guess what, the company then tells me that the molding the technician brought is not the correct one and that it would cost an additional $120 for me to get this done. I spoke to the manager and express my dissatisfaction and frustration for all the wasted time waiting around and for them not notifying me ahead of time of the cost until the appt. I ask to speak to the owner and the manager refuse to give me his information and he pretty much says, this is the way it is and they dont need to reschedule it unless Im willing to pay additional. I called their main line and spoke to the rude employee, Royal, again to get the owners name and phone number and once again treated like I was in the wrong and that their company is not held accountable for their mistakes. If their manager and personnel who answers the phone does not have the skills to talk to customers who has been dissatisfied then they need to get out of the customer service environment. They were unhelpful and they could care less that their company screwed up. I would definitely not recommend working with this company. They are rude and unhelpful in resolving problems. read more

I was pleased to get a same day appointment. When I got in they replaced the glass with glass that wasn't tinted without informing me that they didn't have the same kind of glass. They tried to convince me that it was the same. After they relented and said it wasn't, they said they couldn't have gotten it the same day, which wasn't required. Then they said they would have had to order it, which would have been fine. Then they tried to convince me the tinting was done after the car was purchased, which it wasn't since I was the original owner. I wasn't offered their senior discount, which they advertise. They didn't offer to resolve the issue with me. Their customer service is horrible. Stay away from this business. read more
