I was quoted $20 ( which I thought was a lot ) as I was told the hem was curved at the back. Fair enough. I gave them my card. It was swiped. I signed- STUPIDLY not checking the bill. I was charged over $44!!! Wow!!!! Scammed!!!! I only discovered it when I was going through my credit card statement. When I collected the top, I pointed out that I had been overcharged. ( I thought it was a genuine error.) I told them they had quoted me $20. They denied it- I was basically called a liar. Wow!!! Great relationship building for a first time customer! When I said I had learned a valuable lesson - definitely worth $20- and that I would NEVER return- they were quite complacent. Later the owner called and offered me $10 off the next time I came in. WOW! I'm sure their work is fine- but they clearly have no idea about customer service!!!

Even if there's ever any article that comes out wrong or didn't turn out exactly as i had imagined, they are more than willing to change it with a smile and declare it ready for pickup the next day! Recently, I had to get some slacks tailored for a special event early the following week and they expedited my request without issues, twice! I will continue to go to them for all my tailoring needs. They can do it all!

I went to Zula for alterations for three cocktails dresses. The first was a chiffon ankle dress…read morewith a sheer overlay over a spaghetti strap bodice. I wanted the straps hemmed, the bra cups removed, and the dress hemmed from ankle to knee. I could never find a perfect dress so I had one made with alterations. Zula did a great job and even followed the original curve of the top layer of chiffon. The dress fit great and I received many compliments when I wore it. I showed up again a couple years later with two more dresses. One was a ribbon layer dress that was a size too big. She took the entire thing in at the back zipper so it wouldn't affect the layering of the dress. The second was a cocktail dress that had ribbon roses all over it. I needed the shoulders taken in. Zula also recommended some darts at the bust to prevent gaps. Both were worn for family wedding festivities, fit beautifully and I again revived numerous compliments. Zula was always friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I felt the pricing was fair considering the fabric of the dresses and the work being done. All work was professional and completely not noticeable. Unless you were told, you would have no clue any alterations were done to the dresses. That's the true test of good alterations!
