They charged $30 for rekey. They do a really good job and the job is fast. I took my lock there to get it rekey. It was done in 5 mins in and out. That was very impressive and speedy. Mr Quick Fob has tons of reviews all over Google and he was voted #1 for something I saw on Google…read moresomewhere, I think for FOB copying. So my story begins with a car dealership scamming me. The car dealership sold me a defective car key FOB for my car at $125. It didn't have a trunk opener for my car because they said "there were none available at the time and not made anymore" (totally a lie). I met Mr Quick Fob and he programmed me a brand new different car key FOB that had a trunk opener on it and so now, I can open my trunk with just a click! The dealership lied to me, so from now on, I will only do business with Mr Quick Fob if anything goes wrong with my car key FOB from now on. His price was cheaper than the car dealership too. So I paid less for a much better FOB with more options on it (lock, unlock, panic button and trunk opener) which a car dealership said didn't exist for my car. One thing I noticed was that Mr Quick Fob's car has tons of key machinery stuff in it. He was able to make a new key for me on site and have the car key fob made and programmed right on the spot. I highly advise him if you need a car key FOB. Skip the car dealership and check out Mr Quick Fob first. I'll post photos later of the junk FOB the dealership sold me and the nicer one Mr Quick Fob sold me for a lesser price.

We called a few locksmiths but none were available on short notice, but luckily these guys were. Jason (owner) is a great guy to deal with. Super friendly and knowledgeable, he's definitely not out to rip you off like a lot of trades people. One of the locks we had was a seldom-used brand. Instead of trying to source one, he creatively found a generic lock chamber that would work, saving us $$. After quickly finished the re-keying, Jason went the extra mile (at no extra charge) inspecting our facility for possible security holes. Sure enough he noticed we didn't have security collars around a couple of locks, making it easy for someone to break in. So he installed some heavy duty collars. He also pointed out different ways a thief could break into our building without being detected, which was obviously good to know. Thankfully we don't store valuable goods. When it comes to any trade, when you find good guys (or gals) you stick with them. I highly recommend calling West Coast Mobile for your locksmith needs. Are they the cheapest? No, but definitely worth every penny. If you want to be cheap on your security go ahead. You'll get burned later.

Jackie was able to attend the site the same day mere moments after I called, and re-keyed our locks so the stolen key would no longer work. I was in a huge panic to think that a stranger had access to my personal information, but Jackie was very kind and reassuring and made me feel better about the ordeal. He explained that this sort of situation routinely happens to many people and that the mistake of leaving registration papers and spare keys in a parked vehicle is not out of the ordinary.
