I really wanted to like this place. Cute bar area and great interior design. Where it lacked to me was that the music was blaring loud at 530pm on a Saturday. I got a headache and had to leave. The bartender also told us after we ordered our drinks at 5pm that there is a no laptop policy after 6pm? If this is the case I urge to advertise this more as it appeared to be like a cafe with a bar situation to which I've never heard of that policy. (I have been to numerous combination bar cafes) Zoe approves this message
Ok experience. They only carry whole milk or alternative milk. No skim or 2%. I opted for a pistachio latte which was overly sweet. They only had a small selection of specials or signature drinks. Staff was great! Beautiful interior.
Visited after a long walk around downtown Wilmington. My friends, who live in Wilmington were thrilled they were open and really looked forward to everyone trying the coffee drinks. Upon entry, we were welcomed by 2 baristas at the counter and ready to serve us. We had a group of 9 so there was a little of everything ordered. Cold-brew, Cappucino, hot coffee, tea and miso white mocha were a few of the choices. The service was great, the price was fair and the vibe was perfect. Lots of people coming in and out and a few enjoying a seat and a computer. I am not 100% sure but it seemed like a part of the location was under construction and they were working to expand the location but I am could be mistaken. Overall....great location, talkative-energetic baristas, great coffee, wonderful quick service and a great vibe! Would I come back? Definitely!
Genuinely one of my favorite coffee shops to come to. Their espresso has a great taste and everyone is always so friendly. The ambience is great during the day and at night. I love coming to their Tuesday jazz jams.
Really good coffee. Location is in downtown Wilmington, but not quite the core of it where parking is a hassle. Plenty of street parking in the surrounding block(s). Very large open space inside; makes good room for the lines, at times. Even with long lines, the baristas take their time (in a good way) to still craft you a really good brew and not rush it for the sake of the rush. Counter seating is great as well as the window seats to have a good relaxing spot and view. My wife and I frequent this coffee shop whenever we're in town. Would recommend.
Stopped by Bespoke on my way to another cocktail spot, but the rebrand, the open doors, and the music pulled me in -- and I'm glad they did. This place is exactly what the Port City needed. Right from the start, they set the tone with a shot-and-a-beer welcome that felt genuine, not gimmicky. From there, I had two hand-crafted cocktails -- one made by the owner, and the other by the head bartender. Both were extraordinary. You can tell this team actually studies flavor, balance, and technique. These weren't random mixes; these were thoughtful drinks from people who take pride in their craft. The décor is clean, inviting, and gives you the energy you hope for on a weekend night after a long week. The vibe hits as soon as you walk in. The bartenders were knowledgeable, friendly, and asked the right questions to make recommendations based on my preferences -- not the easy guesses. Bespoke is absolutely a go-to. Whether you're stopping in for one drink or settling in for the night, this is a new anchor spot in downtown Wilmington. I'll definitely be back.
Service and interior: young lady at 7:30AM May have not been too elated to be at work this morning. She seemed disinterested in having conversation to discuss options or go over what the pastries were (I couldn't see the on the glass case based on where you need to stand to pay), and then forgets to put the pastry in bag so after got coffee (which was done quickly which was great) I had to stand in line again to get the pastry by the register and she giggled it off as forgetting. (Girl, if you don't want to be at work, change your job.) out started to get a little crowded as we were leaving. Music playing overhead not too loud. Their barista was quick and spoke loud. The self station is at the pick up counter but at first I didn't know where pick up was (order taker didn't offer to point us there either). But I saw another patron. The interior is really nice. Cool decorations, wide space, desk area on the side, seating and standing areas. I can see this as a place that attracts a lot of the college area patrons too. Food: ordered the strawberry pie pastry. It was VERY dry. Almost well done. Barely any strawberry inside. My little one didn't want it he said it didn't taste good and when I tasted I knew why. Unsure where they procured those from or if they make them. Drink: menu isn't extensive. The basics are overhead. The specialty drinks of the moment on a little board by the area where you stand to order on the counter. A few like strawberry later, dark chocolate orange cold brew latte and a salted caramel kind of drink. I went with the orange cold brew latte. It was ok. Very strong orange. The good news is the coffee isn't burnt the bad news was there was so much orange essence that you couldn't really taste the coffee. I didn't add sweetener and where these drinks usually don't need sugar this one did. I didn't grab any in the way out. Other stuff: Loved the merchandise. Very catchy and I can see everyone from the preschooler to the high schoolers in my house wanting to wear them. I'll likely buy something next time I come around. Parking is limited on Princess street and there is a municipal lot on 2nd. It's small. So if you can find a spot that's great otherwise you'll be walking from the other areas it garages close by. It's downtown it's all good. Overall I have a try 2-3 times approach to this so I'll give it a go again one day. Hopefully different vibe from the staff walking in and I'll likely get the regular coffee just to taste the brew. I'll pass on the food. For now it was not what I was expecting. Spent: $11
Ambience is lovely and cozy, there's a lot of places to sit and do work! They have a s'mores cookie that's insanely good, I'll get it every time. Their coffee is really good and well done. The service was so incredible! Such sweet baristas who answered all the questions I had! They know how to do their latte art there, I made them all pose for a photo because they were so kind. Go be nice to them! Also, the bar?? You're telling me I can grab a coffee at 3pm, then at 4pm I can grab a beer? That frosted glass is something I wish for on Christmas Eve. Just beautiful.
Probably one of my FAVORITE COFFEE SHOPS ever visited. LOVED the Decor, right up my alley. The coffee was amazing. I had a Honey Oat Latte. We also tried The Cortado. Divine! If you are in the Wilmington area, this is an absolute gem to satisfy your caffeine craving.
Great coffee shop in Wilmington- had an oat milk cappuccino and it was clear why this place is so popular! Flavorful coffee with the perfect foam and service was pretty quick too even though there was a long line. There is also lots of seating available and unique decor.
Love this new and modern coffee shop downtown. Great place to stop in for a coffee, kombucha, beer, or snack. Very chic inside with yummy options like turmeric latte. I always go for their matcha, it's amazing! Not the cheapest option but i always enjoy my stop in. read more
We had some time to waste while in Wilmington and decided to pop in this cute corner store. We were welcomed right away. The barista was very nice! We got a pour over and an iced seasonal latte. The latte was so good. The pour over was average. The inside is so inviting, with plenty of seating while socially distant. They also sell some interesting goods! I would definitely come back next time I visit. read more

Hubs was taking me to pick up my car downtown. As we passed by Bespoke, I almost jumped out of the truck as it was moving. 1. I needed coffee desperately. 2. I have had Bespoke on my list for quite some time and just hadn't made it down there yet. I asked Hubs to drop me off and told him I'd be right behind him. He doesn't drink coffee (weirdo ;)) so was unimpressed with my destination. The inside is beautiful. Very minimalist/eclectic/hipster. Lots of succulents all over and a huge portion of one wall has fixtures to showcase local flower bouquets by Posies. I was somewhat sad that there weren't any for sale/display, but nevertheless the wall was pretty to look at! I ordered a cold brew coffee with almond milk. Simple and delicious. What made me the most excited about Bespoke is that they serve Counter Culture coffee. I can't put my finger on what makes this coffee have such rich, smooth texture because I don't know much about coffee. What I DO know is that it has absolute zero bitterness. I don't like to draw negative attention to any other businesses, and I do have my go-to's in town for a quick cup on the go, but this coffee is phenomenal. I can't honestly think of any other coffee I've had locally that didn't have some bitter taste, but this really didn't. I wish they had a drive through so it is more accessable, but I think that would severely go against the vibe they are trying to create. I'll settle for coming in a staying for a while :) read more

What a great coffee shop. While visiting Wilmington this was our spot for coffee every morning. The coconut brown sugar latte is so good. It's on their seasonal menu so hurry up and try it before it changes. The blueberry scone was also delicious. We can't wait to come back! read more

Great spot to work a bit & grab some fresh coffee. My absolute favorite is their cortado. They make the best around. I've been later in the day for wine & they have a nice selection & great servers. read more
The best coffee drinks & concoctions in Wilmington...Period. 2nd time visiting & impressed once again with their flavors & top-notch service. Love this place. Try their Salted Coconut Creme Latte w/ milk on ice, when offered. Taste bud explosion. read more

If you are in Wilmington and looking for a hipster/trendy coffee shop, this is the place. Everything from the white brick walls, black + white floors, wood accents, decor, and West Coast music makes sipping on a coffee that much more enjoyable. I only give it a four star because of a few things. The barista's weren't the most welcoming or inviting as I arrived and while ordering my coffee. I also believe the seating arrangement could be done better. There is too much open space that almost feels quite awkward and not as cozy as I would desire in a coffee shop. Despite these things, Bespoke is a cool place with great coffee! A bonus is that you can get a pretty sweet picture here. read more

Stopped in quick to grab a coffee and I honestly loved it. Very clean and modern look. It was quiet but not to the point where you'd be scared to talk. Hopefully I can find time to stop back in and relax before work. read more

OOOOOO WEEEEE boi this place slaps, I ordered the roboise ginger lime tea over ice and oh my lanta did it quench my eternal thirst, so delectable, reminds me of home. Great indie vibez in the store. Lovely merchants I believe their names were Caroline and SK. 11/10 would come again for the slurpable bean juice.! read more

Best shop in eastern NC. A lot of Counter Culture shops are sub par. This one is doing it right. Perfect temp. Perfect pull. Good art. Such a rad atmosphere and their branding and merch is so dang rad. Presentation of my Corrado was great as wel. Worth the visit. read more

Love this place. Today was my first time coming, from what I gather it has only been open a few weeks. The atmosphere is trendy, the coffee is good, they use Counter Culture, and I must mention that I love their branding. I got a latte made with honey and cinnamon, they have almond milk as a non-dairy option. They have the traditional coffee fair, but also waffles, beer, and the like. There are a few seating options, they have a large bar area at their counter, and along the windows, a large group table, and some other comfy seats. They also sell some shoes, purses, and man clothes in the back from soul shoetique. I like this place, and I'll be back. read more

Bespoke is SO cute and trendy on the inside!! Very good for pictures! The staff is always very nice and great sales-people! They have free WiFi and are located right downtown, so a great place for CFCC students or business people with a break! They also sell mimosas and beer on tap, which is nice! The coffee is good! read more
Cool vibe, great place for meetings (which is how I found out about it). Open space, lots of tables and seating, and great coffee. I normally like cream and sugar but the first time I went I drank the coffee black. This was my second time and I opted for a cappuccino. Really good as well but the coffee was better plain. read more

Stumbled upon this when I was staying in downtown Wilmington. What a great find. I think it's new and it's a big space but has tons of character. The baristas are super friendly and helpful. The quality matches their lovely aesthetic. I love the local flowers and the "posies on the door" wall. I wish this place would come to Chicago! read more
