***1 Star - Avoid This Company**…read more I would never use Rite Move again, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. Before booking, we were asked a series of questions, including whether we had fewer than 25 boxes (we did) and how many rooms we were moving (one bedroom and one living room). Based on those answers, we were quoted **$680**, which we paid with the understanding that this was the agreed price for our move. After everything was finished, the owner, Joe, informed us that the total was actually **$1,000**, including **$170 in travel time**. We were then told that the $680 quote only covered three hours. That was never how the pricing was presented during the booking process. The questions focused on the size of the move, not on an hourly estimate. It felt like the terms changed after the move was already complete, leaving us with no real choice but to pay. To make matters worse, they **did not even move everything they were hired to move**. Several pieces of furniture, boxes, and other belongings were left behind, forcing me to find additional help to finish the move myself. After paying $1,000, I certainly did not expect to have to arrange another move for the remaining items. The moving crew was also disappointing. One mover worked incredibly hard from start to finish and deserves credit for his effort. Unfortunately, the other mover spent a significant amount of time sitting in the truck while his coworker handled most of the physical work. On top of that, he was rude and unprofessional throughout the move. The most upsetting part of the experience was how Joe treated my **80-year-old mother**. There was absolutely no excuse for speaking to her in such a rude and disrespectful manner. Customer service should never look like that. Between the unexpected price increase, questionable billing practices, leaving part of our move unfinished, poor professionalism from part of the crew, and the disrespect shown to my elderly mother, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I strongly recommend getting every detail in writing before hiring this company--or better yet, choosing a different mover altogether.

Loren and his team were absolutely amazing. They really take care to make sure your belongings are secure and safely transported. Well- you do get what you pay for!! READ READ the contract and small print - and contract…read morecancellation clause- even if it is their fault - you pay 450.00 cancellation fee! I had a small move- few things and they seemed competitive for the price so I moved forward. The initial process was good till you pay the deposit (!)- the estimate seemed reasonable. I was told a 3 day window for pickup but of course last day ended up to be the pickup day . Ok fine. Time scheduled was 12 noon - They showed up @ 10 pm on the Friday night.- 10 hours later- multiple excuses. The coordinator guy told me cancel if you like... and he would consider not charging me th 450 bucks! Really ?? Thats so nice of him _ Not!! He told me moving is stressful and this is par for the course. Hmm.... I needed the furniture at my new place and we were flying out the next morning. They know they have you once you pay the non refundable deposit. They did show up on time to the destination- which was a positive , but then the moving guys refused to the take the furniture inside as they picked it up from the garage. I moved the stuff to the garage to make it easier for them and I still stood in the shivering cold while they packed my stuff, Now they said the company rule was to they leave things where they found the stuff. No good deed goes unpunished.!! Really sad as I like to support small businesses - but not a pleasant experience and stressful. Not to mention I had to take off a whole day of work to wait around for the movers to show up. Not sure I can recommend them.

Moving is a traumatic process and most folks who move discover that the movers who are advertising…read moretheir services run the gamut from folks you'd never trust to borrow your garden rake to others who are amazing. Moving 4 Us fits in the amazing category. The gentleman who came to the house (Yes, he came to the house!!) to provide an estimate was a total professional with patience. He answered questions and offered assurance that our valuables would be safely transported to the new house. The moving crew led by Lou were phenomenal!! They worked hard, packaged breakable items with care, and we're on time (Something that I have discovered is not true with every moving company. )! They patiently waited for the "go sign" to unload at the new house. When they pulled away it was as if we were saying goodbye to friends. The missing star is due to what I understand is a common reality ... the final price exceeded the original estimate, which was an "ouch" moment but understandable. Definitely would call them for any future moves!
