They moved only half of my belongings, then told me they wouldn't move the rest unless I paid the inflated amount immediately. This felt like outright blackmail during a stressful move. They said the crew spent 14 hours, while the crew came at 9:30AM and left 10PM and two hours was spent in me arguing with their manager on phone about the payment while the crew sat doing nothing. They could have fit all the stuff that needs to be moved in one trip but moved it in two trips taking more time and so that they have leverage to force me into paying to complete the move. The behavior was unprofessional, manipulative, and completely contrary to what was promised. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to stay far away.

They wrapped our furniture and belongings extremely well, and we didn't have a single thing damaged. They also took the time to disassemble and reassemble furniture, which was a huge help. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the whole move. The only thing I would mention is that the move took longer than we originally expected. BUT honestly, I don't really see this as a negative because it was clear that they were taking their time and doing things the right way. We've had movers in the past who rushed, cut corners, and ended up damaging things, so I would much rather have a team take a little longer and be careful with our stuff. I reached out via cell and Alex responded the same day asking for more info. I texted it all to him. The next day he emailed me a quote and laid out all the info. The pricing was very fair, and based on his quick response time and great reviews, I decided to hire them. I am very glad that I did. My move went extremely well. I hired 2 movers and a 20-foot truck. Eugene and Serg were great. They clearly communicated their arrival time and kept me updated via text. There were 2 pick up locations - my storage unit and my parent's house. They had everything from storage wrapped and packed into the truck in 2 hours. Then we went to my parents for a few more things, we were out of there in under an hour. They drove to Jersey City and then had the entire truck unpacked and moved in and all the packing material cleaned up in 3 hours. It was an extremely hot day and the guys worked really hard and very quickly. We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. The day before my move, I still hadn't heard from them regarding what time the movers would arrive. When I called to inquire, I was told that my original quote was wrong and that I would have to pay around $200 more. I was irritated, but was already set to move the next day, so I agreed to the new quote from this new person. The movers arrived 2 hours before the scheduled time (not their fault, once again the fault of the company), and they were LOVELY. Such nice men, friendly, and did an excellent job. After they had finished, I received a call from yet again a different person asking to settle my payment. This time, it was FIVE HUNDRED more than my initial quote. I was baffled. I explained to this new person my situation, what the previous two people had told me, and why I certainly wasn't going to agree to pay that much more. She understood, talked to someone else, and lowered the price back down closer to my 2nd quote (still higher than the original). I would never recommend this company. The movers themselves were so wonderful, but sadly dealing with everything that company put me through was not worth it.

They promised 6 movers, sent 5 and two of them were drivers and didn't move boxes. They're trying to tell me that I paid for the lowest level of coverage(I didn't) so I challenged them to check the contract and they're saying that they have to request a copy of the contract- that was two months ago and apparently it's being sent by a carrier pigeon. They ran over (literally, the box had tire marks) a box of dishes and wouldn't replace them because they didn't pack them. While I understand that, the box was crushed - clearly not packed that way. Plus, team took more breaks than they worked. Save yourself some headaches and use someone else. Couldn't think of a businessman that is more of a scumbag than Dick.
