We had high hopes after reading some of the reviews and looking at the menu online, so we decided to go to Berry Fresh for my son-in-law's birthday breakfast. We had intended to have the blueberry fritters, then our meals, then split one of their special French toast creations for "bressert". I'm quite disappointed with the experience as a whole. We did start out with the fritters and they were very good - crispy and sweet. They are tossed in a cinnamon sugar and served with a berry yogurt which made for a great combo. For our breakfast entrees, I ordered the crab cake hash and my husband ordered the pastrami hash. The food arrived tepid to cold and the eggs (which we ordered poached soft) were overdone. The pastrami hash was sliced pastrami over potatoes and covered in melted cheese. Our server, Stori, didn't check in with us within a few minutes, so we went ahead and ate it so it would not get even more cold. Several minutes later, our server came by with the check and left it stating that there was no hurry. As a point of observation, she did seem like she was in quite a hurry as she did not stay long enough for us to ask for a menu to look at the French toast options. The restaurant was about 60% full, and there did not seem to be a shortage of servers, so I do not understand the hurry. We waited until our server returned to pick up payment and stated that we were hoping to have breakfast dessert in the form of French toast. She asked if we wanted to see a menu and we stated that we would. She then told us that they had strawberry French toast and some other options which I do not remember. Clearly she was not interested in our desire to order more so we said that we would just go ahead and pay the bill. I wish the food would have been warm. I wish the service would have been on point. I wish we hadn't driven 40 minutes to have this subpar experience. I would have loved to give a glowing review, but there was just nothing glowing about it. read more

Berry Fresh is our go to place for breakfast and sometimes lunch on the weekends. We have been there many times and each time the food and service are excellent! The portion sizes are very generous and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. You must try the Blueberry Fritters (get the full order half is just not enough) and on the weekends they make homemade giant cinnamon buns that are amazing. Portion sizes are big here so we usually share after ordering the fritters and buns. On the weekends after 10am expect to wait in a pretty long line but it is worth it! Hands down one of our favorites places to eat. read more

How on earth does this establishment have over 4 stars?! My husband, one year old and I decided to try Berry Fresh Caffe after getting out of My Gym. BIG MISTAKE! We sat inside, our server came to take our drink order, we ordered 2 orange juices (4$ one orange juice). The server came back and took our order. I had the avocado toast, my husband had the salmon bagel and a (small) Belgian waffle (PLAIN! 12$ what ?!!!!!) and my baby had pancakes. NEVER SAW THE WAITRESS AFTER ORDERING OUR FOOD UNTIL SHE CAME TO GIVE US OUR CHECK. The waitress never came to check on us, we were thirsty and our food was disgusting. Me and my husband were both servers in the past and this is the worst service we have ever gotten. The food is wayyyyyyy over priced for what it is (which is not good!) and the service...what a joke!!! Will make sure to never go back to that place again. However the coffee was overly expensive and we thought that one of them was for free which wasn't. The food was average but we had to pay a 18 percent fee for service when we barely got any service in the first place.
