Overall a great place to come for brunch, but especially good if you have kiddos. The staff was great with them, the food comes quickly, and it was nice and loud so our noise wasnt bothering anyone. I had the bananas foster french toast which was amazing, and the lemon ricotta pancakes are also to die for. Generous portions as well. Friendly staff. Our party of 6 was seated promptly. They have call ahead seating, which is great, because you aren't stuck waiting 45 minutes for a table like many other places in the area. Started out with the blueberry fritters. These things are phenomenal. We also got a homemade cinnamon roll which was a hit with the littles. Everyone loved their breakfasts. My husband thought that his bacon avocado omelette could've used more bacon. It was there, but there just wasn't much of it. The French toast was some of the best I've ever had and I'm not really a French toast person. We had breakfast at 10 am and were completely full until dinner time. They have an assortment of great drinks and juices to compliment whatever you're eating. The staff is crazy-friendly and treat you like family - and we love them! I was so excited to try out Berry Fresh Cafe after ready so many positive reviews. The cafe itself wasn't too busy, about 2 tables outside and a handful of tables being served inside. It seems that the restaurant is following proper protocols as far as COVID 19 which is always nice to see. Onto the food, which unfortunately was not up the standard that I was hoping for. I ordered take out and got the Green Goddess Apple Turkey Salad and a 1/2 order of blueberry fritters. The salad was a large portion of greens and a generous helping of turkey. The artichokes and sundried tomatoes however seemed to be drenched in oil; I understand that they were probably soaked in an oil marinade, however the amount of excess oil led me to rinse them at home. The apples as you can see in the photos are clearly rotten, almost as if they had been stuck in the back of the fridge, frozen a bit and thawed out. The dressing too was quite disappointing, not quite garlicy enough for my liking, I ended up using my own dressing at home. For $12.99 I do. It feel that this is acceptable. The biscuit, which many raved about, was quite good...nothing special, but yummy, especially with the cinnamony Apple butter! The blueberry fritters were extremely crispy and delicious, the yogurt was an interesting choice but proved to be a great compliment. read more

I personally love this restaurant more than Juno Beach Cafe. It's really a little hole in the wall restaurant. Due note that it gets very busy on the weekends so I suggest making a reservation (sometimes they don't reservations). I do though have to say, Berry is a dog friendly restaurant for outside seating unlike Juno. The staff will bring the dog a bowl filled with water. Though you will be judged and eyed by the rich folks that will see your dog eating scrambled eggs with sausage links. Ignore them, money can't bring them happiness. Berry offers you large proportions for a very reasonable price. I personally love the 'Berry Fresh Slam' for Breakfast or the 'Cheddar & Bacon Burger' for Lunch. With the Berry Slam I sometimes dont finish it all and I have to take it home due to the fact of the appetizer. I wouldn't call it an appetizer, but it is since you can order it before you're main meal, it's an appetizer. Order the 'Cinnamon Roll with Glaze' before you order anything on the menu.... You're mouth will drool for more after it's gone. Due note that the Cinnamon Roll is in limited quantities per day, it's a first come, first serve. But oh man, it's sooooo good if you do become one of the lucky ones to have it. Based on the slogan, Berry Fresh buys local and makes it fresh. The food is fantastic. read more

My husband ordered a cappuccino, it was very sweet and more like cafe latte. It was too sweet and served in a cold cup. I asked to add a flavour in my cappuccino and they charged me extra for that. Very Berry Disappointed! Ordered the Nashville Chicken Benne, and it looked amazing! Needless to say, it came out COLD!!!! The tomatoes on the side was not firm, but over ripped and the grits runny. Always wanted to try this place and finally did but was not satisfied. I asked the waiter to heat the Nashville Chicken up and it took a minute to come back which my other guest had finished eating and was ready to go. Delicious. Good vibes. I've been here twice and never have been let down. Their famous blueberry fritters are bomb. The first time I was here I ordered the chicken, bacon, avocado hash and it was so scrumptious. The second time (pictured) I got the Mexican hash. I'm always down for a good Mexican anything and this meal did not disappoint. The picture looks like I could be a very wet dish but honestly there's so much on the plate that you can spread it out. A great little spot for brunch in the Abacoa area. They don't take reservations and there's usually a small wait to keep that in mind if you have a large party. Food was good, got the Nashville hash but substituted the potatoes for French fries. Drinks are very strong! read more

Loved that we could join waitlist from home, only had to wait a few minutes once we arrived. Food came to table relatively quickly. The mimosa was large..but it was 9.99 They charged me an extra dollar for my vanilla latte The eggs benedict lacked hollandaise sauce as seen in picture and unfortunately the eggs were overcooked the plate was a bit lackluster. The French toast was really good but only maybe 5 pieces of fruit, without adding syrup it would have been too dense and dry to eat And lastly the waiter does the bill at the table..seems like a plus but holds the tablet as you add the tip while he stares at you...honestly we would have probably tipped more than 20% if this didn't happen. read more

18% built-in gratuity is no-go for me. Gratuity should be at the discretion of the patron based on service. The day I was the there, the service was unremarkable & I would have given less. Built-in tips doesn't incentivize wait staff to go above & beyond, just provide the basic level of service. If you have a food allergy, bring your epipen to this restaurant, just to be safe. My wife loves the food at this place. We go here a few times a year. She always orders a fancy breakfast special. I always ask for gluten free specials- but today they didn't have any. I have celiac disease so I have to eat gluten free. It's not a choice. It's a wheat allergy. I ordered the homemade hash and eggs since it is gluten safe, until today. The waitress asked me if I wanted the homemade biscuit that comes with the hash meal. I told her no thank you. Her: Are you sure? Me: I can't eat food with wheat. I have a wheat allergy. Her: We have a gluten free option for the biscuit. There's an up charge. Do you want that? Me: Sure. Sounds good. The meals arrived. I dove into my gluten free biscuit and had it half devoured before my wife stopped me mid-chew. She told me I was eating a regular biscuit not the gluten free option. Wait, what? She called the waitress over and told her about the contaminated biscuit / meal. The waitress said, "Oh yeah, that's right, I'll go get the gluten free toast" Too late. The damage has been done. We explained what a food allergy meant. She simply didn't understand. I told her to disregard the gluten free toast. I don't trust her at this point. She brought it out anyway stating, "Here you go. You can have the toast and the biscuit, in case you want to eat both. Besides, we already changed you for it. " Seriously? She just doesn't get it. FML I couldn't eat most of my food. I did visit their restroom though, because eating gluten, if you have celiac, results in a few trips to the toilet. Sometimes it can be a trip to the hospital. People with celiac know exactly what I'm talking about. On a side note, the home fries that came with my meal were cold, tasteless (no seasoning). The fried potatoes looked like they had been sitting under a kitchen heat lamp after being partially deep fried an hour or two ago. My wife's meal looked awesome. This was a disappointing meal for me. She brought us our check which included an automatic 18% gratuity. She suggested we could add a higher percentage tip if we wanted. Seriously? How does one take away the automatic gratuity? Berry Fresh Restaurant owners: please educate your wait staff about food allergies. Don't assume they know what they are. A person with a peanut allergy can't eat peanut butter. A person with a dairy allergy can't consume milk, cheese products. An egg allergy means no egg products. We love Berry fresh. The service was okay this last time. She seemed to have a hard time being super friendly. I feel the added tip has changed some servers. Even when we added more to it she could barely muster up a smile. She never checked on my friends coffee and forgot what I had asked for (a special menu they have). No biggie, we love it. Just something that I noticed as what I really always loved is the loving wait staff. I love that they have just egg but due to its popularity, I hope you will offer the scrambled version soon. If you want to find the worst avocado smash "acapulco toast" come here. I ordered takeout during COVID-19 pandemic to try to help local business, boy what a mistake. I originally ordered an Acapulco toast w eggs over easy (attached pics are what I actually received). Eggs like rubber, avocado not smashed and instead whole and browning. Bread was soggy. I did try get a replacement I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt during these times but that didn't work. They said we do not accept changes or give refunds during the pandemic. So if you do order from here expect the worst and hope for the best. read more
