Had not been here in quite some time. The Banana Berry Burst turned out disappointingly bland, and to make matters worse, the person preparing it overloaded the drink with ice. As a result, the taste was diluted and lacked the vibrant, refreshing flavor one would expect from such a treat. The prices have gone up so much! It was $27.13 for 2- 32oz Banana Berry Burst. All the supplements were extra, so we decided to pass on those. Next time we will travel further and go to inta-juice where the prices are reasonable, and you get 2 free supplements!!! read more

Our first time trying Berry Blendz and we were pleasantly impressed with the taste of the smoothies and the customer service from the two young girls working by themselves on Sunday, August 3rd. One girl took our order but unfortunately the smoothie I ordered was misheard I think because they made me the wrong smoothie, not a huge problem and when we informed them it was incorrect, I think Bailey is her name, she quickly made me the correct smoothie at no extra cost and was very nice about it. I have been getting their smoothies for years. The last visit was my most unpleasant visit. I ordered a perfect pineapple and got something with coconut and orange juice. That's not the problem. I let the counter girl know that the wrong smoothie was made for me. So disappointed. I've been coming here for years. I love Berry Blendz...but not this location anymore. The interior is disgustingly old and grimy looking. The closing crew leaves a mess for the openers and it it's just an overall gross environment. Half the time it smells like sewer gas. Over the last six months the service has declined and the workers don't seem to give a crap. The drinks are watery and not smoothie thick. This particular BerryBlendz is terrible. They don't serve wheat grass juice even though it's on the menu. The girl who took my order was surly, rude, and laughed at me when I tried to order wheat grass shot. When I asked her about one of the free supplements, she rolled her eyes then shoved a bunch of laminated cards at me and said "read it for yourself. I don't know what it has!" THEN, she made fun of her male co worker loudly and asked him to do her job of making my blend bc she didn't feel like working. She was wearing shorts that were so tiny they looked like underwear. The guy she taunted is a gem of an employee and was very professional and apologized for her behavior. He's only a kid but has manners and is a hard worker. Promote him. Fire her. I love the açai bowl at Barry blends! I go in at least once if not, three times a week and today by far was the worst. I mentioned that no one ever asks for my phone number for rewards and she didn't even apologize. I don't usually tip because the bowl is about $12 and that's all I can afford, they already get a full wage and like a waiter or waitress so I don't think it's necessary to tip. After years of being a Thornton BB Customer, we will never return. Today, around 2:30, my husband and I came in for our normal order (2 Hawaiian Dream smoothies). While mine tasted as it usually does, his was immediately RANK. It tasted like a mixture between rot and gasoline. I do not know whether a CLEANING PRODUCT was put in his drink or if it was ROTTEN fruit. When we came home he ran into the bathroom to throw up while I put the smoothie down the sink. The scent of the smoothie is so strong that it is now lingering by sink I put it down. I attempted to call the store at the listed number only to be met with a full voicemail box and no other way to contact them. I am beyond angry. read more

Berry Blendz is the perfect place for a healthy start to my morning. When I first started going here, I loved getting a smoothie. I love the green tea mango for an energetic boost. The peach green tea is also really good and has matcha in it for energy. Now, I really love their juices. The green machine helps me feel amazing and energetic. And the green lemonade is tasty way to get some veggies in. This place is amazing. The juices and smoothies are made to order. However, I never have to wait too long for my order even when they are busy. They do have a couple of tables if you want to eat in. I typically get my juice or smoothie to go. They also have smoothie bowls and small snacks like Boulder potato chips. The best part is they have a rewards program if you plan to visit a lot, this could save you money on your purchases. What I like about this place are the options... literally something for everyone. So many fruity selections and creative combinations to choose from. I got the watermelon wave because... well.... I do love some watermelon in my life this time of year! I immediately gravitated to the classic blends to start. I love that so many of their smoothie options are just fruit! Expect a wait for your drink. I ordered the Extreme Veggie and it took about 20-30 minutes. The drink itself had a mild smoothie like texture, I was expecting juice. However, it tasted great and you can watch them prepare everything. Lots of fresh veggies and fruits! One thing to note: they put the whole apple in the juicer. I'm sure most juicing bars do this and I very much hate it when they do. Apple seeds contain a small amount of cyanide which is a lethal poison in large amounts. Our bodies can handle one apple but I would like to avoid it when I can. What really irked me was when one of the gals working in the back dropped the lid of the cucumbers container on the floor, then picked it up after a minute and put it back on the container. The girl making my smoothie is sick. I asked her very nicely to please wash her hands after witnessing her wipe her nose with her fingers. I wasn't rude. The girl flat out refused explaining to me that we don't ever touch your food. I watch her start making it. When she gets to the banana I ask her again just please wash your hands. She again told me no. I ask for the manager who had a total attitude with me bc they don't touch the food so she doesn't have to wash her hands. She touched the serving utensils, the cartons, scooped out ice. All these utensils the other employees are touching with her snout on them. It's gross. It was a simple request. My boyfriend also got the berry burst with strawberry and it was creamy and delicious. As for the reviews that say it's expensive, it was a little pricey for the two things we got. It was about $15. I went this first time not knowing what to expect, as I had never heard of Inta Juice. The man behind the counter was helpful in making suggestions for our group. There were lots of combinations of drinks to choose from. This juice is a speciality and it is reflected in the quality taste and the price. I think it was a little bit expensive but then juice smoothies are all they do here. It was worth what we paid when you consider that.. It was very tasty and refreshing. We enjoyed our drinks. As a bonus we knew it was all good for us. We'll probably continue to drop in once in a while when we're in the neighboorhood especially this summer when it's hot and we're thirsty. We had 2 regular fruit smoothies and 2 smoothies made with fruit and yogurt . I am not big on the taste of yogurt and thought the straight fruit smoothies were much better. read more

Put it this way - I live downtown and I make special trips to Thornton just to get a Watermelon Wave or Trail Mixer. I am a granola slut so getting a smoothie with raspberries, banana, Fro-Yo and granola makes me a happy camper. I am also a huge fan of the Acai Bliss and Intense Energy, which is a rad ass smoothie with a full can of Red Bull added! The flavors here beat out any crap-tastic Jamba chain anywhere, you'll find less sugar too.
