so let me start by saying if you want a chocolate covered strawberry where the description of the taste is exactly how it taste in your mouth then please visit this establishment. The strawberries that I had especially the Snickers covered strawberry was amazing. I want to come back here over and over and over again because the strawberries tasted so good and the amount that you pay for the strawberries you get is worth it because the product is actually good. The service was phenomenal as well. It was fast, It was quick, and you could sit in there and eat your strawberries if you wanted to, I was in a rush so unfortunately I didn't. I hope this business continues to blossom. I think it's on the cutest block in Baltimore and I look forward to coming back for more soon. read more

I would definitely keep on driving up to Baltimore to go and experience this place in person! She has a wide variety of chocolate covered and other covered types of strawberries. My wife loves them. For Valentine's Day this year, there was only 1 thing I wanted--Berries by Quicha! I had tried a few times at small pop up events, and really loved being able to customize my own variety pack. The berries were all so fresh and delicious--my personal faves were the cheesecake and the strawberry shortcake. The salted caramel was also a hit. $3.50 per berry is a bitttt pricey but for a special occasion, these were worth the splurge and way better than flowers! read more

Purchased a Groupon that I couldn't use when I came to into the store because apparently, I had to call a week in advance. Groupon mentions 24 hour advance call, not a week. I have called several times in the past and no one picks up the call. I've also stopped by the store during open hours (posted on the door) but the store was closed. I'll take my money to another small business. read more

I wanted to order for delivery as a gift & I didn't want to use a chain so I was super happy to find that I could support a local Baltimore woman's business! I ordered a dozen that I was able to choose which was a little worrisome because I didn't have personal knowledge of the flavors but after seeing the berries in person after delivery, I didn't need to worry so much! These berries were ginormous and they were so delicious! Obviously the best part was how beautiful they are. I wanted to give this place a try after seeing rave reviews. I decided to preorder for Valentine's Day weekend - a half dozen tequila infused, and a half dozen vodka infused. The parking is street only, but I was able to get a good spot. The ambiance was nice and the woman at the counter was very friendly. When I told her that I was there for an order I made online, she said that it was likely cancelled because they don't like to take online orders for Valentine's Day weekend; however, I had no cancellation email nor did the website say that. I also showed my proof of payment. The woman at the counter called the owner and provided my order number, and was told that it was paid for. She then went and packaged my betties and I went about my day. As far as the berries themselves, they are absolutely delicious but we didn't really taste the vodka or tequila. For the price, I was expecting more. Again, they were delicious and beautifully presented, but if I'm paying a premium for infused berries, I expect to taste the liquor. read more

This is the first Valentine's day I did not receive my usual order of Sharrie's Berries or edible arrangements. I did a quick search on Yelp and this little Gem was the closest store while in the Baltimore area. My daughter and I walked in and immediately we're greeted by the friendly staff. I was questioned if I was a first time customer. Yes!! The kind woman behind the counter explained how many berries the price etc. (Thank you ;) Wow..... I love great service. To top it off Lets just say my eyes were bigger than my stomach! I was blown away by the selection. I wanted to try them all. After a few recommendations I walked out anxiously ready to try one (or two). I went to the car for a sample. Simply delicious! I have to be honest I immediately went back for a few more. These are hands down my favorite dipped strawberries. Better than edible arrangements! Had a bunch of different flavors including cheesecake, birthday cake, Ciroc berry, tequila berry, strawberry shortcake, birthday cake, white chocolate drizzle & plain white and milk chocolate. There's a reason that the line is long to get into this place-- the berries are so freaking delicious! Ordered a dozen for Valentine's Day and everyone must've had the same idea. As I waited patiently in line for pickup, I asked others about their experience and everyone raved about them! We went here for dessert after a foray to GC&C recently. This is the first time we noticed the shop and we were in for a treat. The strawberries are $2-4 depending on what you are getting but they are well worth it. The berries themselves are absolutely huge, super juicy, perfectly ripe berries. The things that go on them and in them (yes, some are infused, including with tequila) vary and there are holiday specific ones from time to time apparently. I had an Oreo one and a peanut butter cup one. My partner had...some sorta chocolate and a tequila infused one. I got a bite of the tequila one and there was a nice bit of tequila flavor to it. The Oreo one rocked my world and the peanut butter cup kicked my ass...both were so good. The lady that was working when were there knows a good bit about customer service and killed it at her job. read more

This store is just opening up (I believe the official grand opening/ribbon cutting is Friday the 3rd), but when we walked by and were peering in the window Saturday Afternoon, the owners waved us in. They were both very friendly and helpful when we had a couple questions. The store itself specializes in all kinds of dipped strawberries. They have your normal chocolates, but also Toffee, Reese's, and many other flavors in the display case. Additionally, they have some cheesecake stuffed strawberries, cheesecake cups (in case you'd rather have more cheesecake than berry), and a few "Adult" berries - Tequila and Ciroc infused - at least those were available the day my wife and I went by. Prices are reasonable, and the strawberries are huge, fresh, and juicy. My wife and I tried the Toffee and Reese's covered berries (which is why I remember those flavors), as well as two cheesecake cups. We tried the Cups first, and...OMG - the cheesecake was amazingly creamy (and delicious) - if I lived closer, I'd definitely go by and stock up on those. They are a perfect "right size" dessert if you've eaten at any of the Federal Hill area full-service restaurants. As for the berries themselves, they are definitely a two hand job when eating - though one hand is more a "catcher" to prevent the coating/shell from falling to the floor (as it can crumble as you start eating. If you are in the area, and you like strawberries, make it a point to stop by. You won't be disappointed. read more

I am the Community Coordinator at Athleta Towson. We were having a "Ladies Night Event" for Valentine's Day and were in search for chocolate covered strawberries. My boss had seen Quicha talk on a panel before and we knew we wanted to support a women owned business so we chose Berries by Quicha and were not disappointed at all. Our customers LOVED the berries, they were the first item gone during the event! Some people even said it was the best chocolate covered strawberry they've had. Every time I come here, my strawberries never make it all the way home because I eat at least 2 in the car. I love their cheesecake and strawberry crunch!!! If you're looking for fresh and delicious chocolate covered strawberries with many delicious varieties look no further. I was gifted some for Christmas and ate my last one a few days later. Berries By Quicha is a real find in Federal Hill. This store is special for its product and exceptional customer service. I ordered on-line for delivery after speaking with Quicha on the phone and the whole experience was pleasant, smooth, and exceeded my expectations. Although the product is to die for (I'll get to that in a bit), the most unusual thing, that you don't always think about, is the ability to mix and match your own dozen or half dozen gift box on-line. Quicha has so many unique flavors that you don't want just one or two. You get to select the berries you want, not only by name and flavor, but from excellent photos of the exact berry. And I was really impressed that the delivered product looked every bit as good as its on-line photo. I gave a half-dozen to my daughter for Easter, delivering it Saturday afternoon. She doesn't have too much of a sweet tooth, but she loves strawberries, is a foodie, and very particular as she works in the hospitality business. When I called her on Easter morning, I asked if she had tried one yet. There was absolute silence for a minute and I thought that, perhaps, they were awful and she didn't want to hurt my feelings. Instead she said "Mom, I didn't try one--they're all gone! They were unbelievable, perfection!" Enough said. If you're looking for a gourmet dessert, or a wonderful hostess gift, or just to treat yourself, this IS the place. And did I mention, their prices are totally reasonable. Not a single reason to stay away. read more

Berries by Quicha is awesome! I was sent my first box a few weeks ago as a gift, and I've been hooked ever since! I've ordered three times since and each box has been of great quality. The presentation is exactly as pictured on the website. My favorite flavors are white chocolate swizzle berry and cheesecake stuffed berry. I never even heard of a cheesecake stuffed berry until Berries by Quicha! The website is easy to navigate. Delivery is a breeze and reasonably priced for different areas of Baltimore. I was really impressed with the delivery process. I believe I had the same delivery driver each time and the communication (courtesy call) and handoff have been flawless. The berries themselves are well worth every penny, even though the price point is more than reasonable for something so special and delicious. I seldom write reviews, but had to give Quicha and her team a shoutout. I would highly suggest Berries by Quicha when you need a special gift or want a sweet treat for yourself. Awesome black owned berries shop! The shop was. Decorated very cute but the chocolate covered strawberries were over the top! Great flavor and great quality. My boyfriend and I wanted something sweet so we popped in for a treat. I got birthday cake and Oreo covered strawberries dipped in white chocolate while my boyfriend got the Reese/ chocolate covered strawberries. The owner was very friendly and helpful in the selection of my boyfriend and mines desserts. Loved her energy and will be returning soon since I live in the area! read more

I ordered online for Valentine's Day for a delivery this afternoon I called to check on delivery time And was told that my Order was cancelled by the company because the website should Not have accepted my order after Sunday. My daughter and son in law received a delivery today as a gift. I didn't know of their company, but the chocolate covered berries were delicious and beautiful looking. The berries tasted fresh and they were all beautifully decorated. Wish we thought to take a picture before tasting, but they're almost gone. Much better tasting than the strawberries from edibles. Pros: The taste was amazing, especially the lemon cheesecake. They do a lot of business and have a lot of repeated customers. The neighborhood was in a better part of town. Cons: While the person that helped us was smiling, she really didn't give that welcoming and suggestive help. Their front doors are really small, so if you are a larger person, you will need to go in sideways. Selection was small. Overall it was okay but nothing I would go out of my way to return to.

I also got a buckeye chocolate which was again chocolate and peanut butter and it just melted in my mouth perfectly. Michelle recommended this to me and I would definitely get it again. There are a ton of chocolate options and candy that you can just relish yourself in as soon as you come through the door. I can't wait to come back here and try something new. Plus, I love the way this shop is decorated and has so much natural light coming in.
