I've been coming to Bernie's for the last few years. Prior to coming here, I only used one dry cleaner my entire life. That company went through a change in ownership and the quality went down hill badly. They royally screwed up and damaged my best clothing. I'm still in tears over my Brioni jacket that they ruined years ago. After that happened, I had no idea where to go for my future dry cleaning needs. Luckily my father recommend Bernie's to me and I'm so glad that he did. Thanks dad that's some good looking out right there!! Bernie's is located in a small space on Camino and Powerline in the Citibank plaza. He has been around for over twenty years, yet I had no idea he even existed. You will be greeted by his birds as you approach the entrance. Bernie loves his birds. They're always with him. Make sure you don't stick your finger in the cage or you'll get bitten for sure. Bernie is a friendly and personable guy. I usually bring my entire closet with me and there ends up being a huge pile on the counter lol. Bernie gets them sorted and into the system with ease. Whenever he gives me the pick-up date he always asks me if that's OK. There have been a few instances when the pick-up date wouldn't work due to my tardiness in dropping off. I've asked him if I could pick-up sooner and he has always expedited it without issue. That's great customer service right there if I may say so. The pick-up process is quick and painless. Just hand Bernie your claim check(s) and settle up your bill. In no time at all he will pull your laundry. Bernie will also carry your laundry out to your car and hang it for you. I find this to be a good service and a nice touch. The other dry cleaner that I used to deal with never did this for their customers. My clothing always come back to me flawless, perfectly pressed and with all of the buttons intact!! That was a problem with my former cleaner and it was due to their pressing equipment. There are always stays placed in my collars as well. Once again this is a great touch as I usually forget to check for them until I'm using that particular piece of clothing. Given my serious OCD I like everything to be perfect. You certainly get what you pay for and Bernie's is no exception. You may spend a few dollars more here but, you do get a better result and your money's worth without question. The bottom line is that if you're looking for a quality dry cleaner come to Bernie's and he will take excellent care of you and your clothing. read more

Bernie's cleaner is The worst place to take your clothes. In addition to losing your new clothes, as happened to me last month, they treat the customer with disrespect. It is a completely disorganized company. They do not use a packing slip to check the clothes and they still charge for a service that was not done, much less delivered. Bernies lost my new clothes that had not yet been used, they charged me and still treated me very badly, even after many attempts on my part to find a solution for what happened. I have never seen a service provider as bad as this one. I felt very exploired and financially harmed. I strongly do not recommend this company. read more

I left 2 garments on a Monday.. was told that they'd be ready on Thursday. I went in and was told there was a delay to come back on Friday. I came back and was told there was an accidental ink spot and they "were working it". They never called me back . I called multiple times on the following Monday and Tuesday with no answer as to where my clothes were and no promise of when I could expect it back. As of now, I still don't know what is happening.. Do not use these cleaners!!!! read more

For the second consecutive time Bernie's Cleaners has managed to lose two identical King Size comforters that i had brought to him for cleaning. On the first occasion he did grant me a credit which i happily agreed to. Now, again I go to pick up my comforter only to find the comforter yet again not the one i had brought to the store. These comforters cost approximately $160.00 each so I am now out over 300.00 and without, obviously , the comforters. How is it possible that a 30 year business can't figure out how to give a customer back what was originally brought in? Customers beware... read more

Don't use this place. They lose your clothes and don't take responsibility for it. Two of my husband's expensive dress shirts got lost and nobody cared to give me a phone call back. When I went there to pick up the shirts they couldn't find them and the owner Bernie told me my husband could find another shirt in his closet. So disrespectful. Thankfully, yes my husband has other shirts in his closet but this place doesn't deserve to have us as customers. read more

This is the best dry cleaners and I highly recommend. Bernie can clean anything and clothes are always perfect. He has cleaned my carpets, pillows and my sofa covers. Even my curtains! None of those annoying tags either. You won't be disappointed. read more

Bernie's is the BEST! He can get spots out of anything! I first found him when I spilled pasta with garlic and oil down and inside my brand new Kate Spade purse. What a disaster! I took it to Bernie. A few days later, I got the purse back. It was PERFECT! I was amazed! Since then Bernie has done ALL my dry cleaning. I have yet to find anything he can't fix. The airlines destroyed the top of a rolling duffle bag. The whole top was torn off and the zipper displaced. Took him a little longer, but Bernie put it all back together. It wasn't perfect, but it was old to begin with. I still use it. The tailor there is also amazing. She's really good with simple things like shortening pants and skirts. She also replaced pockets in well used jeans. She can even re-weave some fine knits... truly almost art. Bernie's is the BEST. Try them and you'll never go anywhere else. read more

If I could rate zero stars, I would. I dropped off three pairs of pants to be cleaned on Thursday afternoon and SPECIFICALLY ASKED if they would be available Saturday because I was going out of town Monday morning on business and needed them. I was told yes and that is what my ticket states as well. I called Saturday morning and was told they won't be ready until Monday. I even got Bernie's phone number and called him directly. I was told that the pants were cleaned but not pressed and I could drive to his other location in North Lauderdale to pick them up myself. He didn't seem AT ALL concerned since he was in his way to Key West for the weekend. So I asked why I was told they would be ready on Saturday and his response was "I guess there was a miscommunication". No "sorry it was our fault" or anything. Last time I will ever use Bernie's Cleaners! read more

By far the best service I've ever had. Great prices, quick turnaround and friendly help.

Best dry cleaner and tailor in Boca. I had a very late day of work and they allowed me to pick up my tailoring and dry cleaning 2 hours after they had officially closed. The parrots in front are great too! read more

I have been using this cleaner for about 4 years. A bit expensive but convenient. I recently took a pair of very nice stone washed black jeans to have the silver zipper replaced. The jeans have silver grommets around the pockets and a silver metal button. When I went to pick them up,a gawdy gold zipper had been stitched in. I requested a silver zipper, similar to the one replaced. The owner's wife apologized and I was then told to return again in 4 days. When I returned for the jeans, nothing had been done. The gold zipper was still there. The owner was there this time; he told me he did not have a gold zipper, he would not replace it, he would not refund the $18.00 it cost to put the zipper in nor would he issue a credit to my account for future use. He told me no one sees the zipper. He also stated during this time, he was "Too Busy" to have called me to explain this the situation. Not interested in making a wrong situation right in any way. Instead, he seemed more interested in saving his $18.00. Too bad he doesn't value his customers. I will never go back. read more

They deserve 10 stars. I brought in my son's graduation gown to be cleaned and starched prior to his graduation. They not only had it ready within 24 hours, they also put plastic within the sleeves so that it retained its shape. It came out beautifully. And the gentleman was so kind on the phone and in person. Best dry cleaner ever! Thank you. read more

The worse business I had to ever deal with. Be careful, if they lose your items they won't take responsibility.

Professional, courteous and they get the job done to perfection. They successfully clean garments and throws that other cleaners cannot. Best dry cleaners I've ever used. read more
