Acting like a junkie and screaming at customers is absurd! I've been coming here for 15 years. I'll never step foot in this place ever again. Since Rosa left this place has gone to crap! All the machines broken. No hot water. And a junkie who doesn't know how to manage her own emotions. Oh don't worry they offered me the $6 I spent on the washer back! But my $150 bed sheets are ruined.

"Well if you come after 6 I'll just leave it for tomorrow so hurry up and get here." Don't go here. It's not worth the hassle. Id rather go to a coin laundry and sit and wait for my laundry to finish than be treated like I wasn't worth their time.

I have been to a laundry mat probably once in my lifetime as I've always had one in my home or on…read moremy apartment building. My dryer broke and I had no choice so I googled the closest one to me and stumbled upon this place. It is a decent sized laundry mat. They do not take coins and will not change coins out for you. There is a machine for you to purchase a laundry card $1, you'll need this card to start your washer & dryer, and you load with either cash or credit/debit card. Washing machines are $6.50 for the smaller ones and $6.99 for the bigger ones. And the dryers are $.25 for every 7 mins. 1 full load you'll need about 30-35min for it to be completely dry which wasn't bad. At my previous complex it was $2.75 per load which was dirt cheap so I was kinda shocked at how pricey the washers were here but hey you gotta do what you have too. There isn't plenty of seating inside. It is equipped with a good amount of washers and dryers. They do have a few reserved for the workers. There's an atm inside. They do sell detergent and fabric softener in case you forget to bring yours or you can go to Gaia or Family Dollar in the same plaza. They offer a drop off service not sure the pricing on that but they do wash/dry/fold for you. They also have carts on wheels to help you get around with your laundry but they are very limited on them. Once we arrived we didn't get greeted nor helped, a stranger had to tell me how it operates (the card, pricing, etc). The lady up front eventually came around and asked if we got everything loaded but by that time our stuff was in the dryer, 30 mins later. Place was decent enough. They do have late hours which is good for those working late.

And now I can't even get it back I said theres a barcode on the back is there a way you can check in the computer or somewhere that I got money in it and I can get another card or at least my money back and she said "no it's lost" that's unbelievable they should have kept it like before when it was quarters.... And the same thing happened to someone else earlier and she lost her money as well...

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHING HERE!…read more I made the unfortunate mistake of taking my wife's leather jacket to Lighthouse Point Cleaners for cleaning. They informed me that the jacket would be ready in about a week. However, after two weeks passed, we called the business, and they told us the jacket was still not ready. For the next several weeks, we continued to follow up with Lighthouse Point Cleaners. Finally, after a month, they contacted us to say the jacket was ready for pickup. When we brought the jacket home, it was immediately clear that the entire back leather panel had been removed and replaced with a plastic material. There were tear marks throughout the inside, and new stitching on the outside, showing that the jacket had been taken apart and sewn back together. The designer pattern on the top shoulder was even sewn back on in the wrong direction. When we returned the jacket to the cleaners, they claimed they were unaware of the damage and would not be able to provide any reimbursement or replacement for the jacket outside of "store credit" (unfortunately for us, the jack is around $5,000). They also refused to provide the owner's name or contact information. We called the police to file a report, and the responding officer informed us that they are consistently called to this business for similar reasons. We visited the business three more times in an attempt to speak with the owner, but they wouldn't share any information and claimed that the owner had already called us to resolve the issue (we never received any calls or voicemails). At this point, we've filed complaints with LHP's code enforcement and Broward County Consumer Protection Services. We'll be pursuing a small claims suit against the business, but we're not optimistic about receiving financial compensation. Our primary goal is to warn others and prevent potential customers from experiencing the same. From conversations around the community, it's clear this kind of behavior is a pattern at Lighthouse Point Cleaners and I wish the city could do something about this.
